Sprint LG G2 Stock Recovery? - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I had rooted and am now unrooted.
I installed a custom recovery and now need to get back to the stock recovery for a return to Best Buy.
ROM is stock.
Have searched high and low and can't find anyway to get me out of TWRP and back to the stock recovery.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance....

i think you need to use the LGtool, but we need the file to flash.

You need to download the Sprint stock firmware and follow the same instructions as the Verizon version below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2448960
I am leaving out a lot of details but if you are interested in more details, give me a PM. I have some personal notes that I can send you on how to flash back to stock.

[Q] I think I hosed myself

I activated my S4, and I 'thought' I had taken the MDL update before I rooted, apparently not. My WIFI will not come on and I get the nag notice every time I try to open. Upon looking at my About Device screen I see that that my baseband version is L720VPUAMDC but my Build number shows JDQ39.L720VPUAMDL.
Used CF-Root and it seems to be holding according to Root Checker. I am currently downloading the stock MDC restore in an attempt to correct this problem. My hopes is a flash back to stock and starting from scratch will fix my woes. Am I wrong?
No custom recovery installed.I did a factory reset when I saw things were going bad. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I would recommend flashing the stock MDC firmware and starting from there.

The first 2 links on that page are to Odin and the Stock MDC firmware.
There are step by step instructions listed on how you will use Odin to flash the Stock MDC firmware.
I am currently downloading the SPH-L720_MDC_STOCK_RESTORE.exe file I found from another link. Do you think that will pose a problem? I would really hate to stop my current download and start all over.

device status stuck on custom

so i corrupted the efs on my SM-N900W8 note 3 but i used a method flashing a efs script reset and the phone booted up perfectly. But for some reason no matter how much i factory reset or flash stock roms i cannot get the phone to go back to offical status.
Please help thanks alot guys.
Why do you need it to go back to official status may I ask? Do you need to send it back for repair?
As far as I know if you either root, flash custom recovery or kernel it will always stay at custom. In my case, the only time it goes back to official is when I use odin to flash back the rogers stock rom.

It's originally Rogers so I suggest you use Rogers. Unfortunately you will have to download it from sammobile ( unless you can find an alternative ) since the link I use isn't working anymore. Download the MJ4 since it's the latest one from them.
edit: found a live link here.

It will work. The reason you're getting custom despite flashing stock rom from wind is because the phone is originally rogers and if anything other than that is flashed, it will show as custom.

Odin.
It will let you flash back to the stock ROM. If you are on the 4.4 bootloader though you can only go back so far. You can't go back to 4.2. I'm not sure about 4.3.
You can also restore the Nandroid backup of your stock rom that you should have made before you flashed CyanogenMod

You need to use the search feature here on xda. This is probably the single most covered topic in Samsung forums. There are dozens of very detailed guides on odin and how to use it.
There is even one stickied to the help posts at the top of this forum.

Back to stock.

I know that there is thread about going back on stock, but really need your help. I'm lost. I rooted my G2, and got brand new G3. Now I wanna give G2 to friend but want to unroot and go back to stock.
At least, just give her stock.
Now, when I go to links for files, I'm lost. My G2 is D802 unlocked international version, so WHICH FILE TO DOWNLOAD? Please help me.
This was easy before, cause I had Nexus 4 and 5, and it was just download file and flash it via recovery, and if it is possible to do that, without unroot, thats easy, and enough, but still have no idea what file to get. Please help. Tnx
I have TWRP and CM11 atm

You can flash this in recovery. If your from a different region though you'll have 4g issues though.
Or if you want to go back to full stock unrooted you can use this to find your firmware

[Q] NJ4/Safestrap-Easiest way to return to stock recovery/remove root?

I have an S4 that is rooted with safestrap recovery (3.72). Still the stock ROM. What is the easiest way to return to full stock and be able to receive OTA upgrades? The first thing I always do with my android devices is root and flash custom recovery. Now that I did all of that, I realize I will probably not flash that many roms as I don't want to take up that much internal storage and such.
I know how to remove Safestrap recovery, but don't quite know what the best way to return to full stock would be.
Thanks for any help!

Flash the nb1 tar file in Odin. Then ota to nj4. See the general forum
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Free mobile app
Thank you. That was the direction I was going to go, but wanted to make sure there wasn't an easier route.
