Completely Power OFF ThinkPad Tablet using only software (ICS)

Is there a software-only method of powering off the ThinkPad Tablet? My power button works, but it's tricky to get it to power-off instead of merely blanking the screen. I'd like an app or a widget that I can tap (and confirm) to completely turn off the tablet.
On a related note, I'd like the tablet to power-off completely after a certain number of minutes / hours of inactivity. Is there a way to do this?

Look at the dropbox image pls. I hit power button and it did nothing. Volume rockers do nothing. I am in fastboot
I did look at it. Your bootloader must be frozen.
Hold the power button down for at least 10 seconds.

You can always go to power menu and screenshot from there though it's really "clunky" (my vocabulary sucks)

Settings-system-power menu. From there you can enable screenshots from long pressing the power button and tapping screenshot.

the proper way to do it is to hold down the power and the up volume, or down, idk, and it will take a screenshot, it has to be pretty good timing though or youll turn your volume up or turn off the screen.

Depends on many situations:-
- Maybe you have switched to rom that doen't supports the kernel.
- Which type of rom you are using?
- Try doing a full wipe and start from scratch, may be that could help.
I too had the same problem before on CM7, but i don't really remember how i got rid of that, maybe by switching rom.
I believe it's a problem with the proximity sensor, when I was on CM9 there was a zip to flash to completely disable the sensor, but this stopped automatic backlight and a few other features

[Q] POWER BUTTON Camera Shutter

Hey guys. I know that CM and CM-Based Roms have the ability to use power button as Camera Shutter. My question is: is it possible to have power button as Camera Shutter on Samsung-Based Roms? It is the feature i miss the most, from CM.
Thanks
No. But you can use the volume button as the shutter. It's in the settings of stock Samsung camera.
