My htc hd2 is stuck on o2 welcome screen after running ROMUpdateUtility. First, the version of my phone was 1.66 then I unlocked it to 2.08 hspl by using hspl3, to root miui then I started ROMUpdateUtility and since then it is stuck on o2 welcome screen
please suggest me something? I have searched all over the internet but still can't find any solution
If it is not possible then is it possible to install windows back again?

inistall completed
but before restart or shtdowne
the phone can not startup windows
and stop on the HTC Logo
But before if i installed Orginal HTC companys ROM on the phone
My phone can startup!

I installed a NAND Android Rom Dl Desire Z or something... everything was working, but suddendly phone just crashes, and nothing but a white screen appear as soon as HD2 powers on.
The only thing i'm able to do is to go to 3 color mode (hardspl) - but all attempts to flash a wm6.5 rom failed because customruu failed in the middle of the process. freezes at 0% and then appears a communication error in the application.
Conclusion: as soon as phone turns on, only a white screen appears, with nothing written in it.
i've searched for 2 hours in xda and google, nothing similar came...
i've reflashed hardspl3 - sucessfull, but nothing changed, white screen still appears.
i've tried to flash other roms but always freezes at 0%, and appears communication error in customruu application.
I don't know what to do :/
Is there anyone who can help me?

If you can still get into bootloader and you do have hspl installed, try flashing the winmo rom via sd card.

Start flashing official 1.66(its EU, you need analog to 1024 LEO) WM 6.5 rom from HSPL, than HPSL3, radio with 576 RAM(Radio_2.15.50.14 for example), than MAGLDR112, and after these steps flash Android

Flashed a stock 1.66 Wmo rom but white screen still appears as soon as phone is turned on
Can't downgrade HSPL to 1.42 or so...
Can't do Task 29...
What can I do?

I never had any problem with it, and it was running a new Android rom for the second time.. then I take the phone out of the pocket and it is with a white screen...
I can get to the hspl boot but it isn't proving useful...
Any thoughts?
Hello..i just bought a second hand stock HTC HD2 which had the stock rom from O2 UK 1.43.*** After going on to htc support i ofund that there was an update for my phone, so i downloaded the new ROM which is 3.14.206.1. After installing the rom, the phone tried to reboot and it got stuck on the O2 welcome screen. I did the same procedure again, but same thing happened. I tried installing the 3.14 WWE rom from your site, but that failed, with an error 294: Invalid vender ID.
The phone was working perfectly fine before i do anything to it. Can anyone help me?
Please advise on what to do
P.S: when the 3 colour screen is on it says SPL 3.03.0000 XE

I tried to flash my HTC HD2 for the first time. Read /watched different guides. In first 2 steps they were all the same:
- install HSPL
- instal MAGLDR
Done both, got positive responses on both.
BUT: after rebooting after installing MAGLDR I do not manage to get the bootloader screen. There´s just a white screen with green htc logo on it and nothing else happens.
Yes, I held the power button after reboot; about 1 min long. Nothing.
If I hold volume down button after reboot the stripey screen appears like after the HSPL installation. But there is also no menu.
Also tried to proceeed task29 with the HD2 Android NAND Toolkit. Got positive response there too and after this I begann from scratch. With the same results.
Does anyone have a clue what I made wrong or forgot?
Or a hint what to do now?

What version hspl n magldr?

cant remember the full radio version but I checked it before starting and it fits to requirements.
But I´m a few steps forward...
Meanwhile I flashed the newest Original HTC HD Win Mobile 6.5 ROM so phone boots up again
After that I installed HSPL version 2.08.0000 (now I know that was a failure) an tried again to install MAGLDR. But the progress bar doesn´t move - neither on PC nor on phone...
So I first will try to install again HSPL like samsamuel said and try again with MAGLDR

Don´t know why but after dooing all step again (after falshing new HTC ROM) all ist ok and android is booting...
I think something was not in expected version on my old ROM on the phone. Never made an update before. So I recommend to do this before starting with all other

the only regular hd2 stock rom that includes a magldr compatible radio is 3.14, so if the ''old rom'' you flashed was any other version, it will have also flashed a non magldr radio, which is why it happened. (I suspect).

Just white screen with green HTC mark.
But I'm not shure how to flesh win mobile again, because I cannot connect my HTC HD2 via USB (PC doesn't recognise the phone).

Umm .. are you following a guide or something? Because you need HSPL 2.08 prior to flashing anything other than stock.
At last done got an idea in sleep so downgraded Hspl to 1.42 then used mgldr and then hspl upgraded to 2.08 and there it go boot loader

first of all sorry if I'm posting in a wrong place.
I tried many native sd roms with Android on HD2 but each one has a huge problem. When I boot into Android I have to make a first call which lasts only 1 second and then it disconnects. This happens every time and eats my credit. I thought that installing a new rom will fix this problem, I am using BoxMax now, but the problem is even worse. Somebody calls me and it disconnects in few seconds. Anyone having same problems? Thanks a lot for help.

try a nand rom, not a nativeSD one... it's full of rom and guides around

you need drivers to have hd2 recognized by windows in bootloader (tri colour) screen... install activesync or WMDC (x64 or x86 accordingly to your os)
Had fixed the problem with some thinking when downgrading to cotulla spl 1.42 then flashng hspl thn upgrading to 2.08
