if possible can you guys please check it on your system whether it compiles and runs (i.e it has no code error) so that i will look for another to study from instead of not knowing why its not compiling .
followed the build method written on page but still a lot of errors
here's the link :-

yes bro ! i told i did those things
sqlite annotation processing is ticked
I have tried and I have not got it to work yet. However, I found a tutorial on the web to fix it: http://code.google.com/p/android-vnc-viewer/issues/detail?id=282
Try it and report. It has not been working for me yet. (It is for androidVNC as your one seems to be a fork of AndroidVNC.)
If you still cannot get it to work, contact the developer of the programm. He should be able to help you.

I do not think that there is any difference. As far as I have seen, bVNC is a fork of androidVNC. For that reason either both should work or no one.

I'm sure it will eventually, everyone (the super duper awesome devs) just needs time to get the base stable for all supported devices before they can start working magic on all the omni awesomeness....

Since this morning App2SD works with my N7000. Perhaps you should use the latest nightly.
Which app do you use for App2SD?

Hm, not working for me on i9305 with 20131215 nightly There's no button in app dialog to move the app.
Did you modify settings, or did you have to give superuser privileges? I didn't get the question at all...
Update: The dev of a different app (FolderMount) told me OMNI had a bug in RamFS that causes the failure
Latest src didnt give me app2sd
I mailed to the author of an App2SD app Abscheu replied this was a kernel problem, because ramfs for Kitkat need some environment variable exported that has all the partitions in order to allow App2SD. He told me CM11 had this, but neither Omni kernel nor Boeffla kernel for Omni have it. Boeffla maintainer has been told for i9305, and he said he'll tell Boeffla dev, too.
Where should we go to get this done in stock Omni kernel?

Whomever said it was a ramfs issue is wrong, because the SECONDARY_STORAGE environment variable IS set for smdk4412-common devices:
https://github.com/omnirom/android_...blob/android-4.4/rootdir/init.smdk4x12.rc#L18
So, the question is how to get app2sd working...
Everybody says its not his fault
Btw. I cant get ntfs ore exfat working too

Hey Guys
I recently heared about the MULTI ROM And I really like it
But When I Installed it says that our device isn't supported :crying::crying:
And The End It Says if U want to develop MultiRom for your Device , The MultiRom Wiki Page Is GooD Is UR Place To Start
Link : https://github.com/Tasssadar/multirom/wiki/Porting-MultiROM
:highfive::highfive:
AS I am not a dev. I am Asking :angel::angel: OUR GREAT DEVS. :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed: To Port It For Us !! ( @pawitp , @k2wl , @jackeagle , @xenon92 , @codekidX , @Any other great dev. I haven't mention ) I am SURE That U can do it if you become a group
What Do U Think ????
THX
Dude currently multirom supports very few devices.
How could you install something without confirming if it supports your phone or not? It shows absolute ignorance on your part. If it included some other method like flashing, you could have bricked your phone. Do not blindly do anything in future.
Well now back to topic, multirom is basically similar to dualboot.
And many people have dualboot problems with pc itself. Now what would you expect from this in android? I would expect a lot of roms( read all latest roms) to be incompatible with multirom+more usage of precious system space(which we are all kinda low on).
As for developing, our developers may give it a try if they have nothing else to do. But i dont think this is the case,as you can see all lead developers are maintaining and building seperate roms of their own directly from source. Thats a herculean task.
The rest is in their hands. All i am saying is that dont expect a affirmative reply.

I did install the app on the device but didn't install DUAL BOOT its self due it is not supported !
How Can I Brick My Device AS I didn't and can't install it !!!!!! :silly::silly:
Not Every One Can Use DUAL Boot ( For Me It Is Easy ) But They Can LEARN :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
And As Our Devs. Who Will Develop It I am Sure he Will MAKE It at least Compatible With His ROMS
As For STORAGE : U can use a MICRO SD CARD or Check Out @k2wl tutorial for increasing the SPACE !!!! :good:
I am not forcing the DEVS. to make it ready after 24 hours !!
If U read the post I Sais " I am ASKING "
And Really Appreciate their hard work on 5.0 LOLLIPOP !!!!! THX FOR ALL DEVS
GOOD LUCK :angel::angel:
You couldnt dual boot coz it didnt support. No use lamenting here about it coz it was your fault, u should have checked for supported device.
So i am assuming you will install just abouy any new interesting feature u find, without even knowing what it could do to your phone. In your case, it did nothing. I am saying it could have corrupted your phone(had it been something else, say, for explanations sake, a zip file. Now zip files replace things in your phone. Something could have gone wrong).
What i am coming to say is do not try anything new without knowing its compatibility, and then come crying here and saying that it did not work.

I am currently downloading the source code for the PA 5.1 And this is my first try ever in building a rom . it might take upto a week to set it up fully so please be patient because i have an epically slow internet connection.
Also i'm having issues with github in general . I have tried to learn its general working but i'm not sure . Any source or anyone intrested to teach me?
Also i'd like to thank @Furrydaus for his awsome guide for rom buildup. It was a great help. :good:

Take your time bro, eagerly waiting for it! And let me be your tester if you want any
Good luck and take your time
UPDATE
My not so very fast bandwidth is giving me issues so it would take longer than expected. Probably will wait for new bandwidth on 1st .
Just so you know that i'm very serious about developing the rom and i have tons of free time at hand so ill be active too. :highfive:
Nice. Good to see more devs coming. Just pm me if you need any help.

Hi guys.
With one guy, who doesn't have Huawei phone, we try to debug why 3.10.90 isn't booting, but logcat seems that everything is okkey, and cat /proc/kmsg and other adb shell commands gives errors. So I try go get a help, could someone upstream the following kernel (3.10.89) to 3.10.90 and make it bootable too ? I tried it for 4 days, modifying ramdisk, etcetc... nothing worked... couldn't debug cuz adb shell wasn't working(i mean it was working, but next commands weren't, i even installed adb insecure ap, usb debugg on etc).
@XTutorials @surdu_petru @haky 86 @XePeleato(if you know somehow ) @DingDongPow or others. Thanks!
https://ufile.io/rvlmk (why no github ? 1. ffs can't even upload it there 2. only when i finish the upstreams)
You must learn to crawl before you can walk.
In the first place you are debugging userspace when the change you made was in the kernel, obviously you aren't catching the error, whatever it is.
Brian Kernighan said:
Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it.

In this case if you don't understand the code, you are obviously not going to be able to debug it.
Spend some time familiarizing yourself with the kernel, it's the only way to learn.

Here I am, days pass noone help... A guy with totally different phone helped me more than actual p8 lite devs, ty... (i understand that some can't help, but the rest?.. Shame)
We just don't have the time to spoonfeed you. We are no tech support nor we have to provide you with support, the shame is that you refuse to actually learn something and just want to compile that damn kernel no matter the cost. It takes like five minutes to someone with enough skill to compile a kernel (it's just running a command).
The sooner you understand that this is out of your league and start with the basics, the better.
It's your choice to take this as advice or as a rant.

First, i already learned the basics. I know the command to build, but bcs we don't have a source kernel, I'm running from problems to problems.i can solve easy problems, but when not even google heard about it nor other phone devs, it's something interesting.... I know that you aren't a scam tech supp...i mean tech support, but damn, it's soo hard to answer to at least 1 message out of 5? I'm having more help from a stranger, who is pshichologist, and work alot, but still help more than from actuall "friends".. I understand you, no phone no help, XTutorials did everything he could, haky too (somehow). I'm here being ignored bcs I didn't borned with Linux under my as...house. I don't think that it's sooooooooooo hard to answer a question, even a harder one, you won't lose your job or school free time with that "ruined" 2-10 min. This start to be off topic anyways. Well, it says it isn't clean so you've tried to compile it without specifying an out directory (make whatever) instead of (make O=out/ whatever)
