Get rid Carrier Name status bar - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

First of all good morning/afternoon/evening depending on where you currently are and living.
My name is Lorenzo, Italian, currently living in France. I just registered and unfortunately I could not find any "Presentation" section so I'll do it here expecting some of you perhaps to post a link to that section assuming it actually exists.
After my excursus I would like to post my question as an happy owner of a new Samsung Galaxy S4 - I9505.
I just rooted my Galaxy because I wanted to try different solutions in order to get rid of this annoying CARRIER NAME on the status bar (see picture).
I have already tried different features as "XBlast Tools" or "Wanam Exposed" with little success considering that all I managed to do is just hide all the notifications through the command "Hide left notifications in status" with XBlast, little success because as written I managed to get rid of the Operator name but that implied to get rid of all the other useful notifications as: Whatsapp, Messenger, Viber etc.
Please help me out since this string is extremely bothering me.
Thank you guys, and thanks to xda-developers community for the job you are doing! :good:

[Q] Remove nagging prompt dialogs for restart and shutdown S5 Active

Is there a way to disable the annoying dialogs asking for confirmation to shutdown or restart?
Bump
Similar nags for the regular S5 are addressed in various xposed modules and custom ROMs. But the S5 Active is a niche device and there are relatively few of them out there. Meaning that anything unique to the Active model is esoteric and going to show up on the radar of a lot less people.
Your best bet is to do an exhaustive search to see if anyone has tackled this yet. In the alternative, you could try to change it yourself. It's likely a simple edit to disable the nag. But it might take a bit of effort to locate where the nag message resides.
Start with this thread, which shows how other S5 nags have been removed. If you can't find your specific nag here, that thread would still serve as a template to locate it yourself. It would almost certainly be in the system.ui apk, so you would need to decompile that with apktool and search for strings similar to the examples there.

[Q] Missing font? Maybe? App is not displaying correct text.

I work at a Cricket Wireless store, and generally can fix any issues customer's are having with their phones. I am not a developer by any means, but I can do basic things. Flashing a custom ROM, for example, isn't difficult for me. (Just to give you an idea of experience level). But I am trying to help someone at the moment and I am at a loss.
My customer is a Sikhism priest (forgive me if that is not worded correctly), and he needs a religious text on his device known as the Adi Granth. Up until recently, he had an app called Gur Gyan (link below) that displayed his text in his native language (Punjabi/Gurmukhi). He did an update recently, and now it will not work. However, I'm not sure whether he just updated the app, or if he updated his device, as he is now running Lollipop 5.0.
He has a Google Nexus 4. I tried viewing a webpage which displays Punjabi text, and it worked, making me think that his device does still support the Punjabi font. I could be mistaken though. Below is a screenshot of what the text actually looks like.
There are plenty of Adi Granth alternatives, the problem is, they are all in English. This is the only app he could find that gave both a Punjabi format, and search support. I am looking for either a fix to my problem, or an alternative that will work for him. Any help would be appreciated.

[Q] No sound during calls and dialer freezes

Hello, I am having an issue with my Samsung Galaxy S4 Canadian Rogers edition. I am unable to make calls and a number of the application involving the phone's mic are no longer working. Also the speakers are not working at all.
When trying to make a call through the stock dialer (i tried a 3rd party dialer as well) the phone usually freezes on a black screen with the notification bar on the top (see attached file for screenshot) or a message will show up saying "Phone isn't responding, do you want to close it?"
This problem occurred after trying to unlock my phone using this guide found here.
[ I am unable to post links, the guide can be found by googling "how to carrier unlock samsung galaxy s4", (I used the first guide on gs4.wonderhowto)]
I feel like I might have made some sort of mistake while in the service menu and would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me.

LG v20 H910, How to remove carrier name in statusbar?

Hi
I tried searching on xda if there is existing query like this but there wasn't that is why i created a new thread.
I have bought an LG v20 H910 unlocked in Pakistan with internal 64gb memory and on android 7.0 (not sure if rooted because i am not tech savvy, i just use stock rom). The device is unlocked and works with the sim that i put in but there is a branding "Pakistan telecommunication network" in the lock screen as well as on home screen taskbar when the sim is inserted. I tried changing the sim (on a different network) but it didn't resolve. I also tried finding the option in settings menu to hide operator name in the taskbar but there is no such option.
The point is, it is taking a lot of space on taskbar which is almost half of it and blocks the view for notifications. Also, it is quite annoying to see it. If it were a logo i would have ignored it but since it is taking half of status bar that is why i am annoyed and want it to be removed/hidden.
Please help me with this. I really love this phone but this thing is turning me off from using it. I have put my sim in old phone and using it till i find some solution for resolving it.
For reference i have attached the screenshots.
Same problem with "Telephonica 02 UK Limited" taking up about a third of the status bar.
Did you find a solution in the end?
Guess it depends on the carrier. I'm in Canada with "Videotron" and it's nowhere to be seen in the status bar...

Well not as of yet. I have found some workarounds but i don't know which one might work.
1. first option is to install system UI tuner from play store, granting adb permissions and see if the app opens any settings for hiding the carrier name.
2. flashing it with some other rom.
3. rooting it and then installing custom rom.
i have tried the 1st option so far and there is no such option in system ui tuner to hide the carrier name. I am afraid of doing the rest of other options because i am not a techy person and i dont want to end up with a bricked phone.
Pakistan Telecommunication Mobile Netwok -> Ufone ? @awaisagha can you share with me your modem-dump of h-910, My H910 shows only ufone or the carrier i am using name, but my modem has got no carrier data

I received a strange system pop-up on my device related to my privacy

I received a notification yesterday, moments after I unlocked my phone, that said "You've already given your consent to the privacy items on another device". I'm a bit puzzled, because I don't have any other devices that are connected in any way to my phone, nor do I remember giving consent to anything privacy-related lately.
I was actually sent here by a reddit post, the guys there only managed to figure out that it might be a "toast" notification but when I went along and installed Nice Catch (by their recommendation) I had no toast history (I don't even know if it is able to show it after the fact). I don't really know what is going on and I'm a bit freaked out, so I would appreciate all the help I can get.
