Hi
Looking to achieve this:
1) No lockscreen on most situations
2) Secure lockscreen when I wish for it (and will enable it manually)
However, I do not want to go to settings and turn the secure lock screen on constantly, as it would be cumbersome. I want to do it in a nicer and cleaner way, namely a widget (well superb solution would be by a toggle button in notification panel, but I guess that's just a dream idea). So I would have a widget on a homescreen that would enable/disable this secure lock screen.
I was looking for some widgets that would set current lockscreen on/off, but after 4.1 or 4.2 it is (seems) impossible if we talk about galaxy s4. So instead I would set no lock screen (with stock settings), and then just enable/disable an external application that would mimick the secure lockscreen itself.
Do any of you know of any app, that has this abbility (most welcome is a widget, but if no app like that, it can as last resort be, a on/off toggle button upon launching the app).

I'm trying to use auto-rotate feature on lockscreen in order to see new lockscreen backgrounds. Unfortunatelly neither Groupon or Locksider are updating background picture on lockscreen after predefined period of time provided in their settings. Any idea what to change/set up ?
Phone: Lumia 920
- no "Battery Saving" mode
- apps allowed to run in background
- enterprise enforced PIN on lockscreen
- small icons app info/calendar info on lockscreen are updated correctly
Is there any way *quickly* toggle between lockscreen security modes without going into settings and re-do it there?
When I'm home, I only want "swipe" security for my lockscreen.
But when I go out, I want to use PIN for my lockscreen.
It would be great if I just toggle a "quick settings" button to select between the two modes.
But, the PIN code would need to STICK. Right now, I have to re-create it every time I switch between the two security options.
Any ideas?
A dashclock extension for this would be cool also.
There isn't something like that, but there IS a widget that is a quick shortcut to your lock screen settings. You'll still have to enter pins and stuff, but you'll save the effort of navigating there. It's the "settings" shortcut which should already come with the phone

I would like to change the stock lockscreen to something more appealing.
I use pin lock but want to have weather displayed, beeing able to use camera (preferably with the swipe gesture) and maybe also upcoming tasks.
Is there any lockscreen that supports this? (camera is optional if thats not possible with pin lock set)...
Problem is that with pin set you can no longer add widgets to make your own lockscreen, but I'm sure there are lockscreen replacements that can change this or?
Request, how to remove the "next alarm" info from the stock samsung lockscreen
Why?
This is my current setup, widgetlocker for custom sliders with stock pattern lock enabled. I want the pattern lockscreen to be empty of everything (for aesthetic purposes) except for the pattern input area. I use wanam to remove the charging, emergency calls, and carrier info, I also enabled the stock personal message widget and entered a blank space, then unchecked the time and date. That leaves me with the alarm clock info sticking out like a sore thumb.
I know that I can just use "multiple widgets xposed module" to have custom widgets on a secure lockscreen, but for some reason that setup does not wotk with tasker disabling the pattern lock when I'm at home.
I can also just use a 3rd party alarm app, but I like setting alarms through svoice, and it automatically sets the alarms in the stock clock app.
So any help please?
Hello all,
I'm coming from SlimKat on S4 mini and I could not get following 3 things on B564:
fast lockscreen disable; I used to enable lockscreen protection from system settings then have Power Toggles widget to disable it; this way I needed to unlock phone just once for each turn on
use shortcut on launcher screen to make phone calls; tried Nova and GO Launcher, always having something "permission denied" message
icons on status bar are stuck to default image so don't show "custom" information: e.g. weather application do not show temperature, Power Toggle notification do not show date, Tasker cannot change its icon, etc.
any helping suggestion?
Thank you
