Hi,
I re-post here beaucause I posted on TF700T ASUS models..
I unlocked my TF300T tablet with the official bootloader unlock tool from ASUS support, and after, I can see the menu which offer these options : RCK (Recovery Mode), Android, and Wipe Data.
I tried to install CM 10.0 with TWRP Recovery (beaucause ClockWork Recovery isn't compatible with the TF300T), and it fails. I tried after to install CM 9.1 and it fails too..
What is the problem ? When I start my tablet, it's frozen at the ASUS logo start screen and in a corner there is displayed : The device is UnLocked. .. I don't understand why it doesn't work ?
I found a solution for persons who meat this trouble.
1. Unlock the tablet with the official ASUS tool from the ASUS Support.
If it's OK, the "The device is UnLocked" message appears at the start logo.
2. Download at the Support, the last firmwire for your tablet, extract the archive and move the Zip update into a microSD card.
After, insert the microSD card into the tablet.
3. Run in TWRP recovery mode, if you haven't it, follow the instruction at the TWRP official website.
4. Wipe Factory, wipe Data, wipe Dalvik Cache, Install zip from microSD card and reboot.
If it works, at the first boot, the "Signature match" message appears with a progress bar at the start logo screen.
End.

There was probably a bootloader conflict with CM.

6- tried wipe it to factory without recovery but not working

note:
i had done a full backup previously to this problem with clockworkmod contains boot recovery and...
however
could you please help.!!
thanks in advances
Can you boot into recovery by holding down the volume down button and depressing the power on button?? If you can, once in clockworkmod recovery you need to select the "fix a500 boot/recovery checksums" under the advanced menu. It should have done this first time you booted into recovery to install a rom or when you rooted and installed cwm. Good luck, and once you get it fixed install the latest cwm recovery that is located on tegraowners.com.
Make sure you try volume up and down to get into recovery since it isn't very intuitive on which button is up and which is down.
Sounds like you have CWM loaded which has a tool to fix checksums. You boot to recovery mode using power * volume+ and then in the Advance menus is a item to fix your problem.
TD
I had the same issue a while back. If you do not have CWM installed, you should revert back to a 3.0.1 original ROM. I am not sure if 3.0.1 is required, but the original ROM from acer has a Windows Flash utility, so the tab is flashed using a PC, not the recovery mode from the tab itself.
It was a while back (before this summer), but i can't exactly remember if my tab already had CWM or ROOT.
I know there is/was a thread about reverting to 3.0.1 somewhere on XDA, but i can't seem to find it anymore.
Boot to recovery. Hold vol- and pwr until text appears at the upper left corner of the display.
Can you do that? And get the menu?
Say exactly what you did, with filename. All procedures you did.
We are missing information.
So i have a Acer Iconia A500 and i have Android 4.0.3 Kernel Version 2.6.39.4+. I want to root it but when ever i try to get it into Recovery mode i get a android on its back with a hatch open and a triangle coming from it. I have performed a factory reset and still am unable to get into recover. I tried the Acer Recovery App and it says it does not recognize the model number. I have a buddie who works in in a tech support place and told me to download "SD Acer AV041 A500 RV17RC02 PA CUS1" but i am unable to find that file. If somebody could help me out that would be great.

I had a similar issue and I had to install an unlocked bootloader. I just installed Civato's ICS 4.04 RE-FLEX and got around the the issues. You will need to installed the TWRP 2.13 Recovery that includes the unlocked bootloader first. Do a search in A500 Development section for the ROM below.
[ROM][KERNEL]ICS 4.0.4-RE-FLEXxx + CiVz_StormFlex OC Kernel (13-Mar-2013)
cant access fastboot and recovery, help please
no section for the a200 so i got nowhere to ask so please help.
help: acer a200 cannot enter into recovery or fastboot
i got into recovery and flashed the acer stock rom (i think its a honeycomb 3.2.1) then i mistakenly flashed onyx kernel which is for ICS. when i rebooted the tablet, an error message appears : "boot verified failed..." When i tried to get into recovery by pressing volume down and power, the following text appears:
SD update cmd: recovery
--update package = SDcard:update.zip
booting recovery kernel image
recovery verified failed
i tried to boot into fastboot by plugging it into a computer and update its drivers when the "starting fastboot us download protool" appears but nothing happend.
also, the stock rom i flashed lcoked the bootloader.
what should i do. help please.
Hi,
I was on stock bootloader and stock OTA 4.03 ICS rom. I wanted to upgrade to jellybean rom from tegraowners. I am now stuck in recovery mode.
Here are the steps i did.
1) rooted my A500 succesfully
2) With the Blackthunder APX flash tool i flashed in auto mode the Skrilax_CZ V8 bootloader (with multiboot) also succesfully.
3) Then i flashed with ADB.exe the 1.8.1 Touch recovery image that also went well and succesfully flashed it.
4) Booted in recovery mode and wiped data.
5) Went to install from external zip the latest jellybean rom from tegraowners wich is ofcourse on my sd card.
6) It started to formatting my system partition ( i think it was on 7%) and then it suddenly restarts my tab.
Now the only thing i have is power + -VOL is my recover mode and power + +VOL is my other menu i have wich contain the fastboot menu.
From there i am stuck and don't know what else i can do.
I do have my UID number and SBK.
Here is a screenshot of what i have in recovery mode:
Thanks and hopefully someone can help!
You will have to do a "real" data format. And for more help with ROMs from "other" forums you should ask on those "other" forums.
You will find the moderators here do not condone those "other" ROMs.
Perform a real format, then flash a ROM again (you'd better go to Tegraowners.com for more support), but if the problem persists then it may be a bad download, which means you have to download and flash your recovery again. However at TegraOwners you can also find the latest TWRP recovery.
I unlocked the BL and flashed an International Developer MIUI two years ago, and it has been working fine.
I want to flash a stable ROM now. the miui website gives three approaches (system update, recovery update, fastboot update).
I first tried system update, but the system cannot proceed.
then for recovery update, volume up + power button enters Teamwin (TWRP), not the recovery interface shown in the official guide.
then fastboot update, unfortunately the MIFlash tool does not recognize the phone in fastboot mode.
so I went back to TWRP, clicked Install, and installed this ROM: http://bigota.d.miui.com/V9.2.1.0.MALCNEK/miui_HM3S_V9.2.1.0.MALCNEK_fe706c31c4_6.0.zip
which I saved to the phone storage earlier.
now the phone is in a bootloop , stuck at "mi" boot screen. somehow I can still enter fastboot mode, but I don't know what I can do to save it.
please help me , thanks
Trying to make guide for that
I just resently came out from hard bricked

Hi guys.
I had OP5 with stock everything unpdated on the oreo Android, then i decided to try to become root.
I have unlocked bootloader, installed twrp, formatted data and tried to install SuperSU.
After that i am stuck in current situation - after boot the phone warns me that the software could not have been "checked" and waits for 5 secs for loading to system. After that i just get a black screen with blue LED light diode active.
I CAN access fastboot and recovery.
What i have tried:
flashed twrp back to stock recovery - there i am not able to click "install from internal storage", however i tried to use adb sideload and tried to install OnePlus 5 OxygenOS 5.0.4, dowloaded from official site.
this gave me an error - total Xfer 1% - installation failed.
So i tried to install the same rom from twrp, there i got "this package is only for Oneplus 5 device" , which cheered me up a bit., but thats it.
I have no idea what can i do next, do you guys have any?
