Is this possible? With the final versions Firefox and Ubuntu OS Touch, you could one of the two running perfectly on our Defy with Android? Or maybe only one of the two running perfectly.

You can use fission or gummyjar. They are both pure aosp
Hi all,
I'm testing the CM10.2 nighties on my Razr M from two weeks. Everything seems stable but I want to try it with the SmartassV2 governor that the CM kernel is missing. I started searching for alternative kernels (like Aaaagh's one) and I noticed that the actual CM10.2 kernel is v.3.0.96: wasn't Android 4.3 supposed to have the 3.4.62 version instead? If so, why Cyanogemod is stuck with th old 3.0.96 version? I've searched for answers but I've find none...
Is it possible that every CM10.2 build has the old kernel, or is this happening only with the Razr M build?
Maybe I'm just missing somenthing...

3.4 kernel for MSM8960 isn't quite available yet.
Hopefully Moto will update to 3.4 if we ever receive official 4.2 (or 4.3)
You can contribute and follow the progress (dev wise) at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2243410 and http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/t...lopment-0610-android-booting-firmware-issues/
Ok, everything isclear now! Thanks for the quick response!
Basically we've two options:
1) use the 3.0 kernel with backported 3.4 funcions (the one integrated in the CM builds)
2) use a 3.4 kernel (like Aaaargh's or others) non totally adapted to our device
And all this because we're still stuck with Android 4.1.2 thanks to Motorola/Google/Verizon...
At this point, I think te safest thing is to keep using the 3.0 kernel... Apart for the new governors/schedulers, why soul I prefer a 3.4 kernel (maybe this is a silly question too...)? Are they usable/stable even if they're not exactly matching our device?
Hey everybody, as i said in the title, with the new progess of BroadcomCM on CM's is Ubuntu Touch could be ported to our Galaxy Y ?
Like in this video in which the guy says that is running Ubuntu Touch under a CM10 rom, see : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znehah_vX1s
I'm completely crazy about this OS, because i like the way the user interface is used to make things, that's be great if we can have it on totoro too
Its possible but I think ubuntu touch doesn't support armv6 but I can be wrong too
Maybe it can ported to totoro if we have stable CM
That's what's i thinked about, but i know each port is different even if it's based on CM in the case of the S3.
No it can't be ported to totoro, Ubuntu touch needs at least a dual core 1.2 processor to run properly
Can someone please make a stock aosp rom for the nook color. i'm talking no cyanogenmod features. just stock nexus 7 modded to fit nook color. i'm running android 4.2 on it with pure android and it runs with no hiccups. please make it with android 4.4.4 from nexus 7 just modded to fit nook color like i said.
The lastest CM 11 snapshot for encore is quite good to stay. Why do you need that? To me, i am runnng ver. 2.3 Nokiejoys cn. It looks like ios, but the top on that it runs very well and smoothly. Have you given it a try yet?
Hello,
I would like to bring new life to my Nexus 10. Always used rooted stock ROMs, but I'd be glad to try Remix OS out for size now. Still, I'd prefer keeping my stock ROM at the same time. I see that some Linux-based ROMs can work together with Android in dualboot on N10, but flexible tools like MultiROM, EFIDroid etc. don't support N10. Is there any possibility to use Remix OS alongside stock Android?
nice question. i want the same.
