[Q] straight talk tmobile mms not functioning - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've used the search function and tried many different suggested APN settings to no avail.
I'm on straighttalk/tmobile, running stock non-rooted 4.3 rom. Since the 4.2 OTA update -a month/6weeks ago?- I have not been able to send photos through text messaging. I receive them no problems, just cant send.
Now when I attempt to send a photo with the messaging app I get the following message: "can't send message right now. Too many unsent muti-media messages."
I'd like to find a work around, since switching to Tmobile directly will cost $10 a month more at the minimum.
Thanks guys!

HELP! - MMS on ATT

Through a series of weird events I have ended up with a gsm unlocked imagio and no VZW service any longer. No sweat I still have an auxilary line with att. I have gone through all the data settings. Destroyed the connection guardian and unblocked the server edit for arcsoft. Everything works great. Data, SMS, Sending MMS. The only issue I am running into is recieving MMS. I get the messages most of the time but they all say "Message not found". No picture, no text other than the error. MMS settings in arcsoft have been checked over and over. All the searching on the web has yielded no results. Any pro willing to help with the settings/registry tweaks required to get this up and running?
I am having this same problem I have tried about everything I could think of to get it working.
x3 on this issue. Regular text message I get no problem but MMS with pic or anything else I get "Message not Found" I can send without any issues
MMS on ATT
Same here. Very frustrating.
I am right here with you guys...same issue and all the same registry file changes made. But still yeilding the same results "Message Not Found". The one conclusion that I can assertain is that it is not opening up into the message program. The file data recieves on mine it is almost like it cant find the appropriate program to open or the file extension when recieved on the phone and points to a Verizon Specific app???
Ok since posting my last message on not being able to receive pics via mms, I have done some work on the phone and ROM-Graded to the Sense Rom and everything seems to be working fine with pic message retrieval using HTC messaging...If I go back to the Arcsoft threaded messaging mode it will not still retrieve the pics even after the ROM-Grade. So a work around if your up for it updating the ROM has helped and it also got rid of ALL the Verizon bloatware and crap too...Bonus! I have been running this way for several weeks now and it seems to really be the solution.

Cricket MMS help

Ok so my droidx is flashed to cricket and it does everything pretty good. Talk/web/sms/market but incoming or outgoing mms not working. Every message i send i instantly get a "No national access coverage" error. same with incoming mms. I have tried with the stock txt app and handcent. I have pushed the autostart and the u2nl files. tried the apns from anycut with all the cricket settings. Tried the ##program menu and changing the upload to 111111. I am at a total loss at what else to try. would love to get the mms working to complete this phone flash. Could it just be cricket blocking it? Had mms working on my droid 1 a few months back. any help would be great maybe i missed something. Also i am on the
$45 plan could it be i need to be on the droid plan?
You guys rock here with solutions hope you can help!
Edit:

[Q] Picture/MMS Messages Not Working

Hello Everyone,
I'm currently running on a Sprint LG G2 with all of the current profile and PRL updates through Sprint. Since activating this phone, I haven't been able to send or receive MMS, specifically picture, messages. Is anyone else seeing this kind of behavior on Sprint?
Side Note
As a side note, I've noticed this is more prominent when using Google Hangout as the default MMS messaging client. When I switched to the factory "messaging" program, I was able to send photos, but still not receive. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the quick response Steamer! Can the edits you described in that post be performed without rooting the phone? Any rough walk-through/tutorials available to assist in the editing?
My problem is a little bit different.. I can send and receive MMS IF I enable the data plan. If data plan is disable..MMS cant send or receive anything.
Arent MMS supposed to connect to data automatically without us have to manually enable it (data)?

T-mobile MMS issue sending to AT&T only

I've noticed since the kit Kat upgrade no one on AT&T ever gets my MMS messages if they include both a picture and text. Just a picture sends fine. Just text sends fine as a regular SMS. Sending to Verizon and other tmo users have no problems regardless of picture or text.
I've tried just about every APN setting with no effect.
I've read that AT&T has a 450kb limit on MMS, but I don't see any option in the kit Kat messaging app settings to limit this like I recall seeing in the past.
Anyone else on tmo experiencing this or any idea how to limit the size of an MMS on kit Kat?
In on stock 4.4, rooted, no lte at the moment, epc.tmobile.com APN.

Att limit is 600 kb but It will compress anything bigger.

Same Problem on HTC One with 4.3
I have the same problem using an HTC One on T-Mo sending MMS to my AT&T friends. I performed an experiment with friends on the other big 4 and an MVNO friend and found the following:
1) I can receive MMS texts, with or without messages accompanying the picture in the MMS message from any carrier.
2) I can send MMS texts, with or without messages accompanying the picture in the MMS message to any carrier EXCEPT AT&T.
I even tried small files, including ones that were sent directly to me from AT&T friends that I saved on my phone and just re-attached singly.
This leads me to believe that something on the AT&T side is not playing nice.
Any thoughts?
Glad to see I'm not the only one with the text plus picture to att issue.
It is not a 100% issue. I can sometimes have success regardless.

Weird MMS Problem

Initial Notes:
Using a rooted Verizon S5 with stock KitKat ROM (NK2), but this problem also persisted on a rooted Lollipop ROM (OA8).
This problem persists on the stock messaging app as well as all messaging apps I have downloaded from the Play Store so it seems to be an issue with the phone itself. I'm currently using Chomp.
------------------------------------------------------
Problem:
For the longest time, my MMS messages would come and go at what seemed to be the most random times, but I've finally come to notice that the only way I can get an MMS (including group texts) to send or receive is if I send more than 1 at a time.
For example, if I try to send my wife a single pic, it will hang indefinitely, literally for days sometimes. However, if I send another pic to ANYONE (including myself), the pic that was 'stuck' waiting to send to my wife will then finally send.
Also, if I long-press the stuck outgoing MMS, and choose 'resend' it will usually send, but then the recipient also gets 2 copies.
I've also noticed that when the stuck MMS finally does send, I frequently RECEIVE multiple pics or group messages from friends who sent them long ago. It's as if successfully sending an MMS from my phone has somehow unlocked a stuck setting somewhere in the network, which then allows all existing MMS to send/receive.
Also, I've noticed that if I attempt to send 3 pic messages, sometimes only 2 will actually go through. If I want to send the 3rd, I have to generate a 4th pic message also to any recipient. I've gotten to the point where I just decide in order to make MMS work, I have to do one of the following:
- Send 2 pics to the intended recipient
- Send 1 pic to recipient, and then forward that same message to myself.
- Send 1 pic to recipient, and then also forward it to someone else.
So I have come to learn that I do have a work-around of sorts, but it's incredibly inconvenient, and just flat-out weird to me. So it's obvious my MMS can work on this phone, but why do I have to send them in pairs?
