I didn't find anything concrete so I'm asking here:
Is it possible to make the gigantic Notification Toggles in Touchwiz (4.3 or 4.4 is fine) either half-size or completely gone altogether?
I know that I can adjust the SystemUI DPI to shrink it but then the statusbar itself is smaller and I'd like to avoid that as well.
Is there a way, either using Xposed or even decompiling and recompiling the SystemUI APK that will do this?
Hello,
I have changed my G2's DPI from 480 to 420.
I used the Xposed AppSettings Module to change LG's weather app's DPI back to 420.
Unfortunately, it force closes everytime I try to add a new city. Tried deleting app data and cache, but it doesn't help.
Can someone suggest me other things to try? Thank you very much in advance :victory:
I cannot get it to work even with changing the DPI back to normal. Have you found a solution?
Do these zips exist anywhere? (I can't find them)
Have changed S5 DPI to 400, but it ruins the look of camera, lockscreen and dialer apps.
I use ART so can't change those apps back to 480 with xposed. I also noticed that the X-note rom has these apps working with lower dpi's, are these zips available to flash anywhere?
Thanks
I'm running a stock rooted Rom on the D802 and I would like to enable the option to hide the volume and brightness sliders or disable them completely in the notification panel. Is it possible to do so? I know how to decompile and recompile the SystemUI, but not too sure where to look for such a thing.
I don't really want to use G2 Tweaksbox.
Hey guys, i know that global DPI can be changer from build.prop or in the developer option settings. I did that and so far everything is working fine( on Sac23 V3 oreo based S9+ port) but the Gboard is scaling to a kind of tablet mode and even the biggest setting is ⅔ of the biggest keyboard on smaller DPI scale (on 410 to 441 its great but if i change it to 450 and up the keyboard gets smaller).
In the past on previous phones i have used Xposed with the App Manager(sorry if name isn't correct) to change the DPI of different apps. I have also teied editing the xml file from the gboard apk so the biggest setting would be even bigger. With these options come flaws:
1. With Xposed Framework i can't have safetynet which is needed for Snapchat and Netflix and bunch of other apps to work.
2. If i change the XML after every update from playstore i have to make changes again.
Is there any other possible way ( maybe Magisk Module) that does DPI changing per app?
