Hi all, I have Tmobile G2 phone and I came across a youtube video and featured a slow motion app but it was for an iPhone 4S. Searched and searched but no luck for an android....does android have one like it? App is called "Slo Pro" for iPhone 4S...
http://sloproapp.com/60FPS/SloPro_60FPS_Video_for_iPhone_4S.html
Thanks all.
Slow Play, and Slow Motion Pro on the market seem to do what you want. Reviews are mixed, so try out the free versions first!
It's not news to anyone who owns a G2 that the stock camera has a few issues in low light scenes.
Specifically:
Video recording goes lower than 30 fps (and of course 60 fps)Still pictures are slow to take
The question: is this an actually issue that has been officially acknowledged by LG? G2 is still new on the market so I'm pretty surprised that not a single announcement has been made regarding those issues.
P.S.
I am aware that unofficial fixes are in the making

I share the same question as you. The device needs a very very steady hand to get the iphone crushing pictures I'm looking for. It gets there with a lot of effort. moving objects ALWAYS exhibit motion blur and video capture at night, although much brighter than other cameras, is very mushy soft and very choppy. Looks embarrassing next to family i5 and note2.
Is LG aware? Have they acknowledged? How can I bring it to their attention? Is there a link or address?
Call lg and tell them... That's what I did about the camera lens scratching. I would try a new camera app and see if it helps... I use the Super Camera here on xda and it seems to work great
Hey guys, coming from the Note 2
Thought I'd ask a quick question for you G2 owners, idk if this was talked about before but I searched around. I'm looking to buy this phone tomorrow over the Note 3 to replace my now out of commission Note 2 but I'm curious to know, hows the audio quality when recording?
I had the LG Optimus G prior to the Note 2 and its was horrible IMO, videos that i recorded sounded very washed out, never had that with the Note 2 though.
I do a lot of outdoor recording(car or at amusement parks etc.) so I'm hoping with this much improved camera that there wont be an issue, I've looked on Youtube for samples and it sounds like it was improved however I wanted to get your guy's opinion
Thanks

G2 Smartphone is coming with Audio Zoom feature in it. It will give you surround audio effect while recording media. There is no issue in LG G2 Smartphone. All you have to understand the feature coming with it.
Hi guys in the default video and gallery app of a S4, S5 or any samsung phone the colour and details goes damn sharp when watching a video or movie. It's clearly noticeable on full brightness. I recently installed cm12 and saw that those boosters are not in those roms. Is there anyway I can get those boosters back cause I do a lot of movie watching on my phone?
Hello.
I would like to know if anyone is having the issue that I am having.
The problem is whenever I share a video that was filmed by me using the camera app, and share it via whatsapp, the resulted video is choppy, jittery and low resolution. It looks like it was filmed in slow motion, even though it wasn't, and the quality is really bad.
Tried switching from 1080 to 4K and also tried 30 fps and 60 fps and the result is the same.
Low quality choppy videos send through whatsapp.
I also tried HVEC format and still no luck.
I have an Oppo find x5 pro running the latest 12.1 color os and the latest version of whatsapp.
To ensure faster data transmission, Whatsapp reduces about 70% of image quality by default. It is a good feature when sending images for daily use. It adds that you can send it as a document.
My previous phone, an Xiaomi Mi10 5G, didn't had this problem.
I switched to oppo 2 weeks ago, and since then, the sent videos are really crappy.
Was there a difference in file size?
I didn't tried with the same file, but now my wife has the xiaomi and when she sends me videos through whatsapp, they are fine, they play normal. If I send her videos using whatsapp they look choppy, the video stutters and sometimes they look like they are filmed in slow motion, but the sound is normal.
Thanks for sharing. Sounds inconvenient. Hope it gets fixed in the next update
This is indeed a issue with the Oppo Find X5 Pro. Me and my colleague have the same issue.
I have reported this problem both to whatsapp and oppo.
Only whatsapp responded but with no connection to my problem. It was an automated response.
I'll ask oppo for you mate and ask them to see what's up.
Thank you!
Yesterday I installed the latest whatsapp beta, and with this version the video playback isn't as choppy and jittery as it was on the play store stable version, but the quality is really low.
I can see some small improvements, but not how it was on my previous xiaomi.
An update: all beta versions following 2.22.11.2 are worse in sent videos playback. The video is choppy and it looks like a fast photo collage.
But interesting fact: the selfie camera videos are sent in normal quality and the playback is nice and smooth.
I don't really know what else to do.
I've updated coloros to the latest A18 version today, but the whatsapp choppy video still present.
I have no answer from oppo team... I'm kinda disappointed.
No answers from either whatsapp nor oppo.
I've noticed on play store a review from another user of oppo find x5 pro that rated whatsapp 1 star and complaining about the same problem as mine.
Nobody takes any action.
It's very frustrating. I don't understand how selfie videos are sent normally and rear camera aren't.

It's also happening on my Brother's OnePlus 10 Pro though being a UK handset if running Oxygen OS still rather than ColourOS
Though I'm fairly sure they still share resource OS/Software wise
Try to send the video as a document works perfectly
Exactly the same here, Whatsapp video playback absolutely sucks. However it seems fine for whoever you send the video to, so that's something at least.
No, it's not fine for the people I'm sharing with. They told me that the videos I shared are choppy and laggy. I've tried every beta version and still no fix. It's like they don't even care...
Same problem with my Oppo Find X5 Pro here. It's something... far worse than the usual low quality granted by whatsapp on other devices. I think Oppo should fix this...
I really think that whatsapp should fix this. If I share the same video using Facebook messenger or telegram, the video is send fine.

Any answers yet, mate?
The only way I managed to send the video via WhatsApp without being choppy is I uploaded backup the video on Google Photos (Mode: Storage saver), then I deleted the original video from my X5 Pro. Open Google Photos then upload the video from there. If the original video is still on your device it will still be choppy, but if it's deleted and only available on Google Photos then it should be not choppy when you uploaded it on WhatsApp.
