After downloading the firmware update data OTA (MJ7) I read the instructions before installing it & the instructions said that "Re-Activation Lock will be reset to default off & i can turn it on after entering settings->security->reactivation lock ".....
What should be the status of re-activation lock in normal circumstances & what would happen if i turn it on ??? Please help guys !!!
I think it is helpful in flashing ROM's and other stuff. If you are not flashing anything like CSC or trying to change modem, it's better to keep it OFF.

Let's make it simple, reactivation lock on means if ur mobile lost or stolen & someone try to fectory reset your mobile need activation password & in this case he will be not able to use your mobile, its good feature for security.
However a lot of people are coming up against a brick wall when flashing a rom, mostly seems to be custom roms, and reactivation lock is stoping them from booting...
Might be recoverable if you use emergency recovery in Kies 3 but that is no good if your stock rom has the old bootloaders and you've flashed a rom with the newer unrootable bootloaders(without triggering warranty void that is).... (
Hi,
I am plannning to sell my i9500 model. I was using Arrow Rom V11 (4.3 without knox) before deciding this. In order to give valid warranty phone to the buyer, I ventured into installing stock 4.3 rom on the phone. As I a, from India, I have downloaded Indian 4.3 stock firware from Sammobile and flashed through ODIN. When the flashsin is done, the I am getting this "UID Inconsistent" message and along with many other"process stopped" messgaes. so I am not even abnle to get into settings menu to do a factory reset.
I read somewhere that "finxing permissions" through TWRP will solve the problem. But that will create another problem to me i.e lost warranty. (As i have already flashed 4.3 stock, Knox is set in).Hence I am not sure what to do make the phone function normally?
I want to keep installing custom recovery as last option. Btw, I am not able to get into recoverymode (even stock recovery) by pressing volume up+power+home buttons. When I try that phone flashes andorid symbol momentaorly and then reboots.
It will be great if you can offer some help! thanks in advance!!!
1. Ur warranty is void (Knox 0x1) -> No warranty in some country, in others yes.
2. Install TWRP and fix perms for solve ur problems
3. Reboot and take a look if all is correct
4. Reflash STOCK ROM for let ur phone like STOCK (but with knox actived -> no solution for that atm)
Greetings,
Yesterday I lost battery power on my SM-N900, when back home I plugged in the charger, and everything was just fine.
An hour later, I powered on my device, the first screen displays correctly (Attachment 1), then at the Samsung animation the screen gets scrambled (Attachment 2).
The main issue is that I am out of my country for the next 10 days, and there is no Samsung service shop near my location, and need my phone urgently.
Rom: Stock ROM 4.4.2 CSC: ACR
Things already tried:
1- Fully charged the battery.
2- Replaced the battery.
3- Wiped system and cache.
4- Flashed a stock ROM.
N.B.
Recovery and download mode screens looks just fine and not scrambled.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards,
McHaimech
I just wanted to add, that the phone is not booting at all, the boot screen remains there, and sometimes it goes into boot loop, with the blue led on.

Is your phone rooted? custom recovery? Well. it seems your phone is corrupted. Try to send it to a customer service in the country you are, OR if you have knox 0x1 install an custom recovery and flash new boot files (i'm not sure if its possible, maybe more files got corrupted too, if you manage to get it working on a custom recovery, DELETE the following files as this topic shows: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2674233 AND take a look at the +++KEEP IN MIND++ note, it will show you how to revert to stock boot)
PS: Depending on the country you are, KNOX 0x1 will not void your warranty, like EU countries, you can still win a new phone if you are still on warranty, but first if you didn't make any modification on the phone, and have KNOX 0x0 , resolve it the official way.

First, thank you for your reply.
Answering your questions:
Phone NOT rooted
Knox 0x0
Stock recovery/Kernel
I even flashed a new version of the stock ROM installed, but with no success, the problem remains the same.
Any help is appreciated.
Best regards,

So the best way is replacing your phone, if you don't to void warranty this is the best way.
Hello guys. I wonder if there is a way to backup data of knoxed part on my samsung n9005 note 3.
Once i rooted my device like an idiot and so when i try to enter knox part boom . Your device is not authorized to enter KNOX bla bla. So i need to get those files please help.
I'm afraid there's no way to recover data from a Knox Container on a device with a tampered counter.
Hello all, I used the kingroot app on my galaxy grand prime g530w ( not the computer version ) and it tripped knox. Now when I boot my phone, it says 'Custom binary Blocked by FRP, secure fail: kernel.'
I need all my data on my phone. I don't want / need to lose any data. I need to either get rid of this custom binary blocked message and retain all of my data, or, I need to backup my entire phone and app data if that's possible. I have a pictures folder I'd like to backup, as well as a notes app that has notes on it that need to be backed up.
If I can somehow access my data with an application, that'd be great. An example of this is ifunbox, diskaid ( now imazing ), iPhoneBrowser, iexplorer by macroplant for the ipod touch/iphone. These programs as far as I know work on apple ios ipod touch & iphones without having to jailbreak ( root ) the device.
My device is rooted now if that helps. Though I'm not sure if the knox custom binary blocked message blocks me from using root access. Is there any programs like the ones I mentioned for apple products that work the same way but for android so I can backup my data?
How do I go about not losing my data because of the knox protection?
Thanks! It's much appreciated. =)
Your BootLoader
The security of your bootloader blocked it because your d'ont follow the step correctly you have to go in Debug Option and enable de case of witch one is talking about your bootloader
If youre phone is brick go to SamMobile download your Android version of your cellphone and service provider :good:
After that download odin and re-flash it
You're not supposed to lost any data like photos
