I posted this in the G2 Hinge Fixed thread but it took me a long time to just find the thread so I thought I would start a thread so those looking for a great how to video could easily find it. Here is my post from that thread.
Okay, so I have been wanting to do this (fix the hinge on my phone) for a long time but didn't feel there was a good enough video showing how to do this. Well, I found the perfect video. I did not make this video and all credit goes to repairuniverse.com
http://www.repairsuniverse.com/htc-t...air-guide.html
Follow the 1st video until about 4:10. That will get you to the hinge. Then just remove the two screws with the cover on the hinge and you will see the spring that is shown in the picture on the first page of this post. Then remove the spring and stretch it, or replace it, or shim it, or which ever of the many solutions you want to try. I stretched mine just to see how it works. And it works amazing. I will probably get a replacement spring in the future. Then just reverse what you did in the video to put it all back together. Took me about 30 minutes total time, and I didn't break anything and the hinge is awesome. I have never taken a cell phone apart before so I am not an expert or anything and I was able to do it no problem. I did not watch the 2nd video, maybe it shows how to put back together. The video is for replacing a broken screen, that is why I said stop at 4:10 and I didn't watch the 2nd video. Hope this helps, it sure helped me.
Great with this I'll be able to get the dust off the inside of my screen if I do everything right, thanks

did u have the pry tools to do it? If not what did u use?
I used a razor blade, once I got a little gap I got a small flat head screwdriver and worked it around just like they did with the tool. Worked great, no damage. Just take your time. Hope that helps.

Great find! Now I can consider upgrading the spring on the slide mechanism.
Probably wrong forum, but anyone have an idea as to how and how hard it would be to fix the charging port of the nexus one, I think it's just shaky.

I've taken the entire thing apart multiple times to change various parts and I can say is watch the disassembly videos MULTIPLE times before hand and make sure you have ALL of the right tools before beginning.
i'm about to change out my trackball and just worried about getting dust in there :S

Surprisingly, they explain everything but how to disassemble main speaker.

Am into same problem with my note 3. Cracked screen from falling. My pics show crack lines with purple shades...
Having searched over eBay, amazon, aliexpress, most frequent results I get is Note 3 Rear Camera FLex Cable - Dont know if this consists of the camera itself, seems it does...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Back-Rear-C...638?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item33a4c1b266 any clarification appreciated.
On aliexpress I believe I got the camera module:

Hallo xda members. I would like to ask if anyone has any teardown video of f320k or photos of the inside. All the videos I found are for the internation or us versions of G2 with non-removable battery. I want to replace my sim card flex and I found on ebay that they have that part for f320 and also would like to know if it has usb charging port/mic part too. But really I can't find anything. I would like to learn what is inside my phone without opening it...
