I ordered the black phone online and got a white quick case with it.
I returned them because the compass wasnt working and I was wireless charging everywhere.

I've been with Tmob for 7 years and ordered online where it definitely shows the quick window case as free offer.
I called customer care verifying that the case would be included and I called back to complain many times.
It is pending research as to 'free case with order'
It seems like its for new customers when I went through the order list as new account.

It's not listed on checkout, but you still get it. I did and I have been a customer for months.
I still haven't got my case, I called every day with all different reps from customer care, new sales, telesales and research.
What a hassle on my order, its in the 'research' phase again for 72 hours since the last rep on thursday didn't do a research request.
One rep had the nerves to offer 20% off accessories free shipping, wtf I want my case as the promo stated.
I told the reps that my friends (that's ya'll here) ordered the same phone online and got the cases.
I feel they are just passing the buck and I'm going to supervisor/manager/buckstopshere person to get my case.
Just an update, I updated 2 lines using the website and received both phones today. Neither one came with a case.

A friend of mine just got his (Yesterday, Wednesday 8th) and he got his free case after having a chat with the manager, since the sales person wasn't aware of the free deal. So yes, it's still up!

I ordered it Monday from At&t and it has not shipped out yet it is still "in progress" when i check the order status. At&t told me it should be here in a few days but i know half the time they don't know what there talking about...

Make sure you have the batteries in properly
If it's out, it seems on back-order everywhere. I checked Amazon and they wanted less than both Motorola direct and AT&T, but I ended up going into an AT&T store and asked if they could match and they did, free shipping too. It's not due to ship until March 8th, but Amazon said the same thing. Just need to be patient.

I would buy another one and refuse delivery when it does ship. If they still charge you, dispute it with your card. Tell them this is what you're going to do when they say they won't cancel it. If it hasn't shipped, they can still cancel, no matter what they say.
I had a phone on order, when I found it cheaper at Best Buy. I bought the Best Buy. When I called AT&T to cancel my order (18 hours after placing the order), they told me it was in the "shipping process." I asked how to stop;return it. The CS rep said either wait until I received it and then return it for credit, or refuse to accept it when delivered. When it got back to the shipping origin it would be automatically credited to me. He recommended the latter, just refuse to accept from Fedex. I did that, and 3 weeks later a credit showed up on my card. It worked!
Its been like 2 months now and i still haven't got it. Yesterday i got an update email from att and was literally screaming and jumping up and down in my computer chair thinking finally its about time it ships out! well then i read the email and the order has been canceled! Couldnt they of told me that a month ago?

I only ordered 1 Nexus 4 16GB but i got that backorder email. I just talked to a google REP also and he said, its on backorder. I also had a Nexus 10 16GB in the same order and he said, since the order is bundled, I now have to wait for my Nexus 10 until the Nexus 4 becomes available to ship even though the Nexus 10 16GB is available right now. I asked for a request for my Nexus 10 to be shipped separately earlier and REP said, it can't be done as they are in same bundled order. Lame lol would have been nice if I could have at least had my Nexus 10 earlier. Oh well, it is what it is.

You do realize that google does not manufacture devices. Period. If you want to be mad, be mad at lg. Also if your last couple of devices didn't sell all that well to begin with would you really stock up on a bunch of hardware that has the potential to not sell on top of selling at a minimal gain or slight loss?
Stop whining and be glad that you're getting an extremely underpriced phone out of contract.

Just got off the phone with Google Order Support. They confirmed that anyone that received the email will be placed on back order. Anyone who ordered who has not received the email will have theirs shipped this evening and that all the back order emails had gone out. So if yours is still processing, you will get your shipping confirmation later this evening with 1-2 day shipping.

I've been meaning to dig into this and today I did.
The cost is 85 bucks for two years and you have 30 days from the date of purchase to add the coverage.
Covers everything but lost or stolen phone with a deductible of $39.00
This is cheaper than AT&T's insurance and the deductible is attractive vs their $200.00
to get it log on to motorola's website with your google ID
then go to my stuff
you'll see your phone listed and the option to add the coverage.
Seems like a no brainer to me.
I have no idea if you folks with unlocked bootloaders can get this or not.

I bought a device new from someone else so I wonder if I can use their receipt to purchase it for myself.
You will have to look at terms and conditions to see if it's transferable.
Sounds nice, but I got my phone through work.
So I could just get a new phone after a year. I'm going to ask next if I can just upgrade early and pay the upgrade fee myself. I'm hoping that I can and just be able to get a new phone faster.

I can second this. I bought mine on Verizon Edge, so I may just "Edge Up" when they get Moto Maker. Unless there is a Nexus 5 on Big Red...

Ironically I dropped my Moto X on saturday and cracked the screen. I called the support number and told the CSR I have Accidental Damage Warranty. He asked my the IMEI number of the phone and verified my information for shipping etc.
I was then told about my choices regarding advanced replacement or regular. I chose advanced. 5-6 minutes after I got off the phone I got the RMA emails from fedex and a new code to remake the phone on motomaker.
I was never asked to pay the $39 deductible.
I had to pay up front for the phone but I expected that.
I'm sure the CSR processed this all wrong. I wonder if, when Motorola gets my phone back and they see it's damaged, I'll have a problem getting the advanced payment refunded.
I clearly stated twice that I have warranty coverage. Things could be interesting in a couple of days when Motorola gets my old phone.
I forgot to check out before and now it won't let me add it anymore, I'm assuming it's because I'm a day past 30 days. On the phone with India now.

Well "John" from India just told me that even though I m past the 30 days I will still be able to add it. He said someone from Moto Maker support will call me back within 4 hours and they will take the order for me. Good news, but I must say I'm skeptical. We'll see if anyone actually calls back.

There are 2 corporate stores here. 1st one gave me that rigamarole. 2nd said, yes we have them, come on in.
Got mine, too! They wouldn't let me change colors, but I didn't really press since I thought I might regret going coral blue.

I was using a loaner s7 edge, and I turned in everything. The new Note was completely brand new in box with all accessories.
I brought only the phone. I kept all the accessories. I left with the new Note 7 still in the box. They activated it in the box. Wouldn't let me leave without activation, but talked them into not going through the setup there.
Just say you do youtube videos of the unboxing and you need the box sealed and they 'should' let you.
I also heard of someone saying 'UPS left me the phone sealed and not activated, I expect to leave here the same way'
I just swapped mine out today at my local corp store. I had my old box in the car just in case I needed it. They let me keep all the items in the new box and did not request any of the old items back. They only needed the phone.

I pre-ordered and purchased my original Note 7 from Sprint.com. I was able to replace mine today. (Here's a more detailed writeup). I had to call around to several stores to find one with new Note 7's in stock. Don't just call one store - call around. I was also able to keep the old accessories (I did turn in my old headsets by mistake, but I don't care about them). The new phone does not (yet) have the green battery indicator.

The Samsung agent told me to call them from location so they can talk to the manager. Hopefully I can get this resolved for free, sprint is one greedy company.

I just got my replacement from Best Buy and I was the first person that the Mobile department employee did the recall with and he had to read all the instructions before he could give me the phone and he did read that the phone needs to be in excellent working condition and not damaged.

Ok so you've already got your return box and have sent your note 7 back? What service is your Note on? Let me know once you get a check, how much it's for, and if it's legit. I don't feel safe just sending my note 7 to a random place hoping to get a $850 check in return.

they received my phone yesterday, so im waiting to see if i get the full refund. i bought mine on craigslist for $220 and the original carrier was AT&T. i took it to best buy and an att store for an exchange but both places refused to do so since i didnt have no proof of purchase. called samsung and after a few days i received the box to send it in.

not yet its been a week since they got it but i was told it could take a maximum of 14 days to get the refund. im guessing it takes that long due to all the phones theyre getting

I got my refund back this past friday for $800. It took 23days.
