Not much difference from the earlier 2 versions. Stable build, slower battery charging compared to earlier version. Battery life sucks if the location service is kept on all the time. Contacts bug has been fixed.

ota update is not coming iam from india
recently I uodated to 4.2.2 so now when I pselect update option in my mobile it shows message that " softeare download service is not available. maximun number of outroll updates so try later or update through kies " so this is message any one help me pleade guys... what is problem

dock has 4 icons by default but you can add 5th whenever you want

Any ideas of the differences between KL5 (Late December 2011) and LA1 (January 2012)?
The only difference I can see so far is that KL5 has the older lockscreen. Is the battery better in LA1 than in KL5?

on samfirmware in ota files I9300XXBLH3 i have install it and is very smooth! also the toutchwiz is different you can not change the homescreen icons where phone, contacts, messanges, internet.
but very smooth!

No you must flash the fw that was written at the fìrst post and direct root, and then direct install the zip file

ok.. i just flashed the ota over xxblh1 (nee).. samfirmware has the ota and there's a lot for different regions and they also indicated the needed base rom for each region..
you will lose root once you flash this so you will need to re-root the device again.. cfroot 6.4 works pretty well..
so far, i noticed that everything is scrolling smoothly.. especially in contacts and messaging.. i still see some redraws though.. but good update nonetheless..

Where does it say this is an OTA update for Australia ? I have been on XSA (australian non branded Rom) since new and havent received any OTA update since LF2.

The Notification panel somehow seems a lot narrower.
Do not update. This might be the worst update ever. Battery life sucks, the notification panel looks awful and it feels sluggish. Can't take it. Going back to CM.
