Hey all,
I'm wondering if there's a way to achieve similar results to the "Movie" screen mode on TouchWiz on a Google Edition 4.3 rom. I love the Movie mode's color accuracy and things look way too over saturated on stock GE. If anyone knows how I can changes the color reproduction to the same as Movie mode please let me know. Thanks.

Im sure this has been addressed before, but I just cant seem to find it.
I am currently running phiremod nook 6.3, whenever I attempt to set a wallpaper it makes me resize it in the gallery, it then looks awful, i only get a portion of the picture. Back when I was running stock you could just use the wallpaper setting built into nook color and it would display the whole picture. Any sugestions on how to get this effect with CM7?

QuickPic (marketplace) works great to get the most out of your wallpaper in portrait mode. For landscape, Wallpaper Wizardrii (also marketplace) works ok. (It works for portrait mode too, it's just not my first choice.)
If anyone has other suggestions for landscape mode wallpaper, I'd love to hear them. WW has a couple of quirks that annoy me.
Hi all, I'm currently running a Google Edition ROM on my AT&T Galaxy S4 and overall its great, but the pumped-up colors (I'm coming from an iPhone) are driving me nuts.
The Samsung ROM includes more Display settings for the screen, including color options (Vibrant, Standard, Pro Photo, and Movie) and an option to disable the automatic screentone feature (which dims the whites when there is a lot of white on the screen).
I would like to set my color from "Standard" to "Movie" (which is the most natural. It also saves battery life). I also would like to disable the automatic screentone, to keep the screen brightness from fluctuating based on content.
Does anybody know if there is a way to adjust these in the Google Edition ROM?
Thanks!
P.S. I doubt that it matters but I'm using this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2341026&highlight=color
Because it is an AT&T phone I had to flash Loki Doki after flashing the ROM.
I've noticed that in the sun some times and more with the camera, the screen will boost its brightness to a level we cannot select. it seems to even change the gamma of the screen where the screens look almost pink. But the result is a really bright and view-able screen in direct sunlight. Anyone know of an add to enable this via an app or some setting?
Also I remember with my Note 3 I could write on the back of the photos, is it not possible anymore?
I'm intrested to this.....but we have to find anyone who knows how to do that...
gekkehenkie11 developed an app for CyanogenMod called MDNIE Tuner which does that. Check the first post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/orig-development/official-cm12-910f-910g-t3046965
Not sure if it works with TouchWiz...
I'm one of those lucky people who gets chronic migraines. The primary trigger for me is bright light... especially looking at bright, white screens with black text. Consequently, I've spent quite a bit of time trying to invert screen color... which is fine unless you are looking at pictures or video.
I know that I can change my Note 4 settings to invert the colors, but that simply isn't practical. I've been able to get some of the modifications I need by swapping out applications. For instance, I use Chomp SMS and have found a great plug-in for firefox that inverts the color without inverting the images. I've also been able to make some system mods through Xposed using Wanam's module. But these are only bandaids. I'm really looking for something that will work system-wide, for light text and dark background.
My phone is a Sprint Galaxy Note 4 running Lollipop 5.1.1. Does anyone have any suggestions? Would upgrading to Marshmallow help? Or how about changing out the ROM?
If nothing that would work systemwide, does anyone have a suggestion for an email app that will invert the text color? The stock Samsung email app is really tough for me.
Any help will be much appreciated.

I Just got a ZTE ZMax Pro (Z981) today from MetroPCS overall the phone is great but im having a weird issue when setting my wallpaper, when viewing images in the gallery or previewing to set the wallpaper everything looks fine but when the image is a wallpaper i notice a slight change in the color like a slight green tint.
preview images below edit: cant post images... any idea what could be causing this ? Using Stock with Nova Launcher, Color Correction is off.
This is a minor problem and isnt a deal breaker to me but if its fixable it be nice.
Any help or input would be appreciated, thank you.

Have you played with your screen anamation in developer options it will change visuals as well as if you have a adaptive brightness set u may just b seeing rough version or a installed app affecting you , I use Nova without issue on the z981 ,it preforms sexy like a unlimited data mod lol , and it may make a diff if you are using free version or paid lite may have bugs I'd try my custom launcher c if it has a better effect or check , check all you nova visuals you may have simply made a mistake in display preference good luck
Thanks for the input, i had animation scale to off, and reverting it back to 1x and restarting did not fix the issue, also playing with the nova animations and tinkering with settings didnt fix it, im using nova prime, tried with the stock launcher also gives me the darker wallpaper, im not sure what it is, because when im looking at the image to set it the colors are fine, its not until its a wallpaper that its darker, like i said it isnt horrible after awhile i dont even notice but its just odd..
what is this custom launcher you speak of?
and yes this phone is pretty amazing, i was little bummed at first because the blade was out of stock where i went but upon further review im happy i got this, could care less about the camera.. on another note can we be expecting android 7.0 in the future ?
