disable popup notification when recieving SMS?

Hi
How do I remove the popup notification when I get a sms? I don't want to read straight away.. thanks

i second the recommendation of xperia tweaks. Pretty darn helpful.

Is there away i can switch my Notification leds of? i heard it improves on battery life and was just wondering how

yes check your settings under i think dispaly and disable it.

that was the first place i checked.. i have looked round all settings etc so it must be something to do with internal storage ?

Try to use the app: "led me know". With this you can configure all LEDs alerts as you want.

[Q] incoming call screen & black background

Hello,
i've just received my new Nexus 4. Incoming call screen looks weird (contact photo on top, rest of the screen is black) and i wanted to ask you guys if this is something normal?

I have the same problem which i noticed today (i have the phone for 3 days). I am not sure i had it from the begining so it might be from an app...
Even so, it is not normal.

I think mine is like that... But I'm running rootbox. But I think it was like that stock, and my old Atrix was like that on CM10

Mine is not rooted...
I've seen a lot of pictures on the internet whit this kind of incoming call but it doesn't seem right...why allowing a fullscreen picture if it's half blocked when receiving the call?!?

its probably a new feature designed by some bright young engineer at Google !
try one of those full screen caller id apps, if you don't mind running another service in the background.
this helped on my Moto G (4.3).

Nothing weird. That's normal on kitkat. If you want full pic, try purity rom. However I like the stock looks cause the icons are hard to see when there is full pic as background. That's just me though.

Paranoid Android receiving call problem

Whenever I get a call, the ringtone would go off but the screen would stay black. When I unlock the phone my call will be in my notification bar and i would have to pulldown the statusbar in order to receive the call. Is there any way to fix this?

video player

hi....i got my note3 4g lte n9005 from dubai and everything is ok but in the video player while watching if i touch the screen the control bar that is down the screen is shown and never hidden even if i touch the screen again !!!!!!! plz anyone have same problem??????

don't know what it can be, but I have similar problem, any video I play shows subtitle: "Chapter 1", than "Chapter 2" and so on. I don't know how to turn it off as well. Posting here because maybe who will read your issue may help me with mine.

my problem solve when i turn of all accebility in the setting .. like an application called iphone notification that show me pop up all notification come and more i use go launcher and i uninstall the notification count and my video player work
