How can I group incoming SMS emails into one group? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

I get a lot of SMS messages that are routed from an email ([email protected])
Each one is assigned a sequential number as it comes in so the end result is a long list of sms entries.....
Is there any way to group them so as they come in they become one thread?

SMS / Email Distribution Groups

Is there a way to setup SMS or Email Distrbution Groups with the XDAII.
I used to use Simple SMS with a IPAQ5550 and found the capability to send an SMS to an entire category or group of contacts invaluable.
Any Ideas????

Multiple received SMS into 1 long SMS - Such application?

Im in the process of setting up my mini-server to fetch emails from all my accounts and sending them to my EMAIL to SMS gateway (#######@fido.ca).
My mini-server will chunk up each email into multiple emails of 160 characters.
I think I can get it to add on a counter IE : (1/3, 2/3, 3/3).
However, once I receive that on my handset, Ill receive it in random order, and obviously, chunked up.
Is there an 3rd party application for WM5/6 to receive splitted SMS and join them?
Worst case scenario, ill use a threaded-SMS application.

[PRJ] SMSAutoReply

I am currently working on an application that will auto reply to text messages when enabled. Reason behind this is in Canada it is illegal to use your handset while driving. I plan on expanding the pre-defined messages.
Cheers!
Have you checked out MagiCall at all? Doesn't have a very nice interface, but it's very powerful and versatile. You can use it to change outgoing dialed numbers (ie:for calling cards etc), auto reply to incoming SMS messages, as well as run commands and programs on incoming SMS messages.
I use it to auto-reply to anyone in my "Friends" categories if they call or text me during an appointment in my calendar.

Send text to a group

Hi, just got my Nexus 4 but I can't work out how to send a text to a group? Am I missing something? I used to be able to do this in my old Symbian phone.
I can add contacts individually but text type changes to MMS which costs extra so I don't want to do that and the group I created doesn't show up in the messaging screen. I set up a group with 21 contacts so I'd rather be able to add the group than individually add them each time and send it as a SMS.
Group messaging works as a MMS - you can turn that off and it will send out 21 SMS messages which isn't group messaging. Go into the settings screen and turn off Group Messaging.
You can not send to a group with the normal SMS app, maybe Handsent or GoSMS can do that.

Group MMS w/ BCC??

Is there a way in the stock messaging app, or is there a specific messaging app available in the play store where I could:
Draft a txt and then send to multiple recipients without each recipient being able to see the other? Basically the same thing as sending an email to multiple people via BCC option.
Would be handy for business purposes. I don't care if they see my contact. I just don't want them to see eachothers contact since not everyone I'd send to would know the other (and/or want their contact information shared).
Obviously I could copy and paste the same message to multiple people via individual txt msgs... but being able to send a group txt would be way more efficient.
Thanks!
If you go into the settings of the messaging app there should be an option to group text messages as MMS. Just uncheck that. At least that's how it works with hangouts for SMS.
