Hello there forumers i have just gone to 2.2.1 CM Floyo v0.15 on my precious Xperia X8...i tried to download the game from the market but it says unsuccesfull download and when i installed it manual via SD card it says installation not complete or somthing like that... Who else has this problem and if someone has solved it, can he share with me/us how to fix it 2

I have the same problem, and from what i understand, is a common thing with costom Roms, certain apps doesn´t work.
I there is a way to make them work i don´t know, but would like to know.
Problems like that ocures after unistalling the selected app and it was connected to an app 2 sd program.

I only install the rom 2.2.1 Hackdroid v.015
If i go back to my stock 2.1 everything is okay.
In the 2.3.2 i can´t install nothing from market.
Guys be sure you all have lastest kernel changes, made by the last update from SE available and latest baseband too (check development), after that I'm almost sure you'll be able to install angry birds.

If i were in you shoes, i would make a "Factory Reset" from Xrecovery (BUT YOU WILL LOSE ALL THE APPS THE DATA IN PHONE).
When you install the Hackdroid you actually install a back up of the Racht's phone, may be Ratch don't like Angry Birds lol.

i´m also using floyo 0.15 but i have no problems like this. i can dowlnoad everything from market(angry birds...). the only problem i´m having is playing .avi videos with Rock player, which don´t work.
Im also running the latest Floyo by Racht, and I cant download Angry Birds either?? I have updated the official SE version to the latest baseband (2.1-update1) before I rooted my X8, so not sure whats going on there?
also Rockplayer and TapeMachine both crash upon open? anyone got this prob?
also, just loaded up the newest 2.3.2 (0.09) and It doesnt detect SDcard and 8/10 times reboots itself after 2min. think ill stick with floyo for the min, but would love 100% fuctionality...

No. Make a Back Up with Xrecovery and then try it (then you can get back with the backup)

Maybe e didn´t like, but there others using the ratch rom, and can install the game.
I could do the full wipe, but doesn´t that erase everything on memory card?
Does Angry Birds run smoothly on your X8? All three episodes have noticeable lag which irritates alot.
Right now I'm on miniCM 1.0.2

I don't own an x8. But how powerful is the phone? It may not be able to handle angry birds. I know the HTC hero and Eris can't. Jw

Market workong fine on new CM6. Older CM6 base have problem with downloading al versions of angry birds
If you have trouble downloading from market try Wipe Cache in xrecovery.
Try floyo 0.20 the chick has it and there no lag my bro has xgin5.4 and no lag hope that help

Hi all,
A quick question from a newbie. I upgraded my SGS to XXJVQ stock rom. Now games like Asphalt 6 and modern combat sandstorm are not running. They crash at the start of the application.
So the question is, do these games work good with any custom ROM.
If they do, would you kindly point me to the best recommended stable ROM.

Did you do factory reset after upgrade?First backup apps and contacts then factory reset then restore or clean apps install from begining.

to fix the crashing issue.
But its still the same.

I have no problems with all games and apps with the Criskelo ROM . Try it

Yes ... that didnt work either. I downgraded it back to 2.2.1 to fix this issue. but that didnt help either.
Now im back at 2.3 XXJVQ. same situation. Please help
I think i figured out the problem ... The games that i downloaded were trial on 2.1 Eclair when i got the phone and i was trying to run them on gingerbread.
I didnt get them running coz i had to buy the latest version. But other free games from the market place are working.

Okay, so... I've been sticking to SlimBean for the past month or so, and I decided to move to Omega v13 (which is based on latest Samsung update, MJ5) just so my camera awesomeness would come back...
Of course, I used Titanium Backup pro to backup all of my applications and games so all would not be lost and restored all of them once I moved to the new ROM.
Now... it appears that some of my apps were not backup`ed / restored properly. Temple Run 2 and Plants vs. Zombies 2 are two perfect examples. It's like I just installed the apps, so of course, I am greeted with the tutorials and such...
I tried re-restoring the backup and it's still the same.
I think it's got something to do with the fact that the backup was taken on an AOSP-based ROM which is slightly different than TW when it comes to mount points or the locations where specific apps are installed? Please help to guide me through how I can avoid issues like this in the future... if anyone can.

I did install the app and fixed whatever there was to be fixed... but Temple Run 2 and Plants vs Zombies 2 are still at 0% progress
I flashed SlimBean again. The same backup with Titanium that was taken on SlimBean, now doesn't restore game progress properly for those two games. :crying:

Weird! That fixer worked for me! Just saying, you need to run the app after restoring what you need, not while restoring, not before.

I tried games such as Iron Man 3, NFS MW 2012 on HTC HD2 with Android 4.4.2 Kitkat but they are not working.
When i touch PLAY on ironman 3 v.1.4.0r the game force close. NFS MW says unfortunately has stopped..
I played this games on android 4.0.4.
Is this problem from phone or from Android 4.4.2..
It seems to me that kitkat is worse disposal memory framework

Yes it's true. So i installed android jelly bean 4.2.2 and now the games are working, but still for Iron Man 3 you need to enable 4xMSAA in developer options or it will crash. This 4xMSAA is solution for many games from gameloft.

i have a note 2 n7100 same problem but i am playing dungeon hunter 4 (damn gameloft games) but the game crashes randomly but mostly in the first minute if i pass that peacefully it keep running no problem ?? tried 4xmsaa but didn't work..
have you found any ideas or fix ??

the fc problem on 4.4.2 is because you copied the game data to external memory..and in 4.4.2 it tends to be in internal memory.try copying game data to internal memory and try...it will surely run.
but then you got some software that require root and enable you to play games from data files in sd card.like sd fix,folder mount,etc

Its not the new kit kat update that needs fix. Its gameloft! They were not aware of the new kit kat update and the game loft games like mc5,iron man,and the amzing spider man 2(wich are from gamelof) dont work on the update untill gameloft fixes it.

Can be rom/kernel related issue. It used to happen to me too when I was on C-Rom v.6.6 or v.7.1.
I've switched to Carbon Rom and now have no problems at all.

Actually...no. DroidX is correctly using an existing thread to discuss a similar problem. Making a new thread to discuss the same thing would be redundant and it against XDA rules. DroidX PROPERLY mentioned having the same issue in 'your' thread. He is trying to help come up with a solution by narrowing down what the common issues between your phones are. That is how XDA works.
Let XDA work.
As for your problem there is far too little information about what is going on with your phone to give you any kind of accurate help. But I'll give it a go...
Is this only happening when playing graphics intensive games?
Are you running a custom kernel? What governor?
Do you have any under or over volting going on? That could cause a hardware fault on a graphically intensive game.
Do you get the same result on a different ROM? (Try installing any other rom quickly and running Clash of Clans. See if the problem persists. If it doesn't, you have a ROM or Kernel problem)
How about if you plug the phone in while playing? (Don't do this regularly. You'll melt it) Does the phone reboot while plugged in? If no, then it could be a battery problem. Is the battery visibly damaged? Any swelling on the casing?

Hmmh yeah when my phone reboot is written (at the left site) SEAndroid is not Secruity or something like that
And i never flashed a kernel in my phone.
I only Rooted it WITH towelroot , Custom Recovery (at the first TWRP, but then i changed to CWM)
And installed Custom ROM (cm 10.2)
I am using at The background Elexier 2
And if you like i can send you an Elexier 2 report (what happening now in system)
And only crahes at Clash of clans at other Games my phone didn't Freeze, Crashes...
I am now playing Order an Chaos Online, FIFA 15 Ultimate Team , but all games work fine

There are a thousand guides on how to install CM around here.
The short version is
backup your current ROm in recovery.
Back up all your data with Titanium or Helium or something
wipe system, data, cache, dalvik in recover
install new ROM
restore your data using Titanium or Helium or something
It's not hard. Find a guide that will walk you through it in more detail.
It sounds like that one game has an error that is overpowering the phone. If the phone hardware gets overtaxed it'll reboot itself to protect itself.

Try a different ROM.
It could also be a hardware fault. (Though Id' expect you to see the glitch on other games if that were the case)
It could also be a glitch in the game itself.

Alright...then continue to enjoy having the problem.
You don't have to switch to another rom for daily use. Just flash a new rom. INstall your game. And play it to see if the problem persists. If it does, either the game is broken or your phone is. Nothing you can do in either case.
If it doesn't persist, then the rom or settings you have now is the problem.
