Hey guys :victory:
So..
When to calibrate the Defy ? I'm using Quarx's CM10, always latest version. (I have a Defy+)
So I'd like to know when I should calibrate my Defy.., after each update ?
Or only after a kernel update... etc ?
Me when I calibrate my Defy:
I discharge it fully.
I charge it to 100% (and few minutes more to be sure..), switched off.
I wipe battery states using custom recovery.
Then I reboot, I use it etc.. xD
Finally I do 2 or 3 fully discharges and charges...
Okay that's it, thanks you in advace for your replies ! :good:
I read you should calibrate after installing new roms. And I use an app called battery calibration found in the play store. Erases battery stats for you without having to go into recovery.

If you have the Unknown Battery Status when you used Battd update from Quarx, the Solution are simple.
1. Restart The Phone
2. Enter Recovery Mode
3. Install Zip From SD Card
4. Use Any File who match With your Battery (1500, 1600 or 1700mAh)
5. Reboot the Phone and Enjoy it!

Did not help with my MB525 (Green lens version, Original kernel Froyo 2.2.2).
Still battery status Unknown. Also "1700MaH.zip" is not installable.
Only For MB525&MB526

Use only the Zip According to Your Defy Battery. In the Battery label says what is the capacity, for example if you have a Stock battery for DEFY not + use 1500mAh ZIP.
But if you buy an 1700mAh Battery Use the zip according to this battery.
I have defy + battery ,lithium polymer HF5X 1700mah and wont charge 100%, loaded only up to 84%. I use Defy with rom froyo 2.2,what do you recommend?!

Bro i was using before stock rom rooted and working fine.
Download "Battery Calibration" from Play Store and use it. It should be used after installing any custom ROM

No, it's completely obsolete to use it. It does nothing at all.
Actually it does. It deletes your battery stat file causing it to be recreated by the system and thus the recalibration
Hi im facing huge battery drain issue.. the battery life was okay on stock rom but when installed motion rom.. it dropped 8% overnight which is unusual for me.. it was good before even no drops overnight.. after that I installed back stock rom via odin, but what I found out is battery is draining so so big.. it drops 40% overnight, I did factory setting, reflash stock rom but nothing worked. Can someone help? Thanks
i too have this problem bro
That's how I stopped using modified ROMs.
Btw you can try calibration and clearing battery stats, follow this link

Goodmorning guys, i have Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo with Resurrection-Remix rom, everthing was fine untill i flashed xposed zip file, now my phone shows all the time that my battery level is 1% but it isn't, i can't figure it out why? how? and how to solve this false battery percantage stats without reinstalling rom. Im wondering can you guys help me solve the problem. Thanks.
You need to recalibrate the batterystats file since you installed a new ROM. You can do so by looking up "battery calibration [root]" in Play Store - just install the first app and follow the instructions.
