[Q] I this safe or is the kernel won't work?

I installed Merruks Kernel pre Final 2.0 via CWM (mai77) but after that all my downloaded apps from playstore got fc's. So i decided to install ultimate sonic rom v5 with repencis kernel (as what i saw on their thread) but it just stuck on the splash screen. So i restored back to creeds rom 3.2 then i looked at the kernel version in settings i saw [email protected] #36 not merruks kernel.

Lol merruk kernel are have an issue installing a rom better go back to stock rom first before flashing my rom
Edit:my rom contain repencis kernel soo u have it when u restore back ur nandroid backup
Hope u used my rom

Hi, thanks for the feedback, so I can't install your rom if I won't go back first to stock rom? Or I can now install your rom because Merruks Kernel is gone and repencis' kernel is now installed?

Heh, will try it. I'll let you know if it turns out good. oh, btw. Do you know how to move the clock in the status bar to the right? Just like a real ics status bar. Because my clock is on the center which is annoying and gets overlapped by notifications and icons of wifi, bluetooth, etc when activated.

Cant resume download for AOSP

I am tryin to compile froyo aosp for testing on my phone but whenever I pause my vm, the download either stops responding or cancels when the next time I launch my vm. Any way to get a download manager for linux machines which support resume n pause support?

I've never had that good of luck in VM, dual-boot is the way to go if you don't have another computer IMO.

You cant resume it as some sites dont allow that including the one you are trying from.. also i feel you would have to use google for resume supported downloader for your distro.. because u will get better chances of finding compatible one there..

Not any rom ICS for SGY, SGY using Gingerbread, all developer still work hard to make stable CM7 on SGY so be patient, just hope all will be fixed
and make CM9 can run on SGY haha

Dude whitexp started cm9 project on sgy... But he is now busy with cm7.. After cm7 he'll probably resume the cm9 project...

As we have seen that there is lot of bugs in CM9 therefore i m not going for it...

psychogame CM 7 update 5 is better and bug free(mostly).

Try pushing it using root explorer Nd delete the old music.apk, keep a backup of it in sd card.
