It has the spot on the board it just wasnt fitted with the simcard tray.
Or am I the only one to think about even trying it?

Lol nevermind I called samsung to order the part to try it for myself and they asked what I needed it for so I explained and I found out it doesnt have the cell radio to even come close to working.

Take out the sdcard and stick it in the pc with an adapter, maybe that works.

As gee2012 has said the only way to fix is get an adapter and plug into your pc. You can download image rescue software, Lexar and SanDisk both have versions.

Phone makes a strange noise....

Whenever it is unlocked and I place it on top of a card with a magnetic strip. Does this mean that it can use wireless charging?

Dafuq ??
Your phone has a magnetic sensor in it, it's attracting the contents of the strip ... That sound/act doesn't means it is gonna charge wirelessly....
That's all I know....
Well idk how the wireless charging works, I thought maybe it had something to do with a magnetic field. What does the magnetic sensor do?

It's probably an NFC capable card. Your phone is trying to read it. It's happened to me before with a CAC...

Now that makes sense I was trying to figure out why something with such a small magnetic field would get a reaction from the device where the magnets from my name tag doesn't when my phones in my shirt pocket....

SIM Card Tray won't fit in

Hi everyone.
I have a problem with my Nexus 4. I popped the Sim tray out to swap Sim and now it won't fit in anymore. It stays 2mms out. The Sim works, at least not problems from that side.
What can I do?
Thanks.

Weird. Did you cut down your sim from mini to micro? Is the sim card bent?
Thanks for your reply.
I tried with the same sim card that was in the tray before, so it shouldn't be the problem. And it's not bent.
Thanks.

New glass... but with a speaker hole. Is there anywhere I can get the speaker grill t

I ordered replacement glass for my galaxy tab 2 wifi. It arrived but had a hold at the top for a speaker that requires an insert to fill the hole. I cant seem to find the insert anywhere. Any suggestions?
