WOW it worked:
What i did:
1. Downloaded the custom ROM (only the PDA file basically)
2. Loaded JPF ROM To ODIN normally, using all the original files
3.HOLD POWER+VOLUME DOWN+HOME Download mode
4. Flashed it, once it was successful I loaded to Odin ONLY the PDA file which came with the custom ROM package
IT DID NOT Booted successfully
5. Turn off the phone
6.Hold POWER+VOLUME+HOME keys together
Selected Factory rest/wipe data
7.Rebooted WOW IT WORKED!
I have the same problem as you. I can´t loaded the phone after succesfull flash. But you wrote that you downloaded some PDA file too, but I haven´t got smt like this in download Please, can you help me? thanks

its not a good rom...
1. looks really bad, (looks) not at all impressive...
2. i dont see any improved speed.....
i guess gsam's stock aosp 0.1 custom rom is 100 times better than this.....
gsam , if u are seeing this, please we want next updated version of your great rom..

Hmm,
I think the custom rom by Motafoca is uite good. Atleast no bugs till now, and great battery life. As for the looks I dont think it is any different to the other ROMS. It is just a matter of installing a launcher of your choice if you dont like Ream launcher.
By the way combined with your glossy green framework everythink looks enticing!
By the way Nakul, is there a chance of having that green themes of yours in other colors too? Like sky blue maybe??

yes thats exactly i am gonna release another theme.....
blue coloured with entirely different icons..
and hope if dark lestats deodexed rom is up, my theme would be full coz the stock apps would also then can be changed.....

Hi. Just like to share my brief experience with this rom and highlight a problem to the dev. Everything was fine, but the samsung keypad no longer worked well. It could only input numbers in the portrait 3x4 mode. The reason why I'm using the 3x4 is because this phone's my mom's and it's much easier for her to hit the larger 3x4 buttons than the smaller ones on the Qwerty keyboard.

Same build number as me. On 3.2 auto rotate takes 3-5 sec to rotate :S but it rotates after that, were you on a custom rom or kernel before update? You can flash the 3.1 official via odin (I can give you the link) and try to update again as root was reported to make some problems when updating

I was on stock ROM 3.1 and not even rooted!
Now, I tried and it rotates taking approx the same time it does with you except in one direction which is the normal one, if I locate the tablet with the Samsung logo down, the screen is upside down and does not rotate? Do you have the same problem?

Never mind, the tab is not with me now I'm out of home . I will test it later tonight isa, and about the 3.1 it is on samfirmware.com the only arabic rom there but no need for it now. But if it is the rom's problem this will make the original book case impossible to use in some conditions that requires the. Screen to be up side down :S
another request. Could please test it on other applications rather than the home screen and tell me if it works on the reverse direction untill I go home

I tried other apps that requires motion sensors such as Riptide and it works. For example with XDA app, it rotates on signing in screen then rotate back to the normal view (Camera up, Samsung logo down) automatically. I tried the auto rotation with other apps such as Facebook, it rotates three ways (takes a few seconds to rotate each way) but never gets back to the normal view (Camera up, Samsung logo down).
Other than this annoying problem, everything is so smooth and fast!!!
I will be waiting for the results of your test. I hope other people will share their experience with the 3.2 Arabic update.

I tried it, it rotates 3 directions nearly on every application except for home screen (only portrait and landscape with Samsung logo down) and fruit ninja thd but have you noticed adding allshare application. (Does it existed on 3.1 for you) as it some what shows poor performance streaming movies compared to my 7'' gtab

I didn't have all share installed with the 3.1 but I have not tried it as the rotation thing is annoying the hell out of me!

We don't have the link it is avaliable on kies but if you want to get it. Flash the arabic 3.1 rom on samfirmware then change csc to EGY from csc changer on market and finally connect to kies . Or is there a way to extract the rom from kies files? I forsure would like to try custom rom based on this

Ok it seems there is a way to export the rom to become flashable with odin which i can convert it to be a cwm zip file, ok nchallah ill start working on it today.

update over kies don't erease any thing except root

Download the zip and flash with cwm following the instructions on the website linked up here.
It includes jb 4.2 gallery and EVERYTHING works good on my stock rom 4.0.4 with hydracore except that button with 3 circles once the image is built and shown in the gallery.
It doesn't overwrite the old camera app (at least not in my italian version) so you're able to switch back to the old camera once you need (why would you? )

Alas, I didn't test it with xxls7 so I can only tell you to try to reflash the zip again via CWM.

Followed procerdure from link in first post and nothing happened. still have old camera instead shiny new one. There is jelly bean 4.1.2 xxls1 on my phone. Me, being supernoob, have no idea what is wrong with me or my phone. Can anyone please help me? thanx

Pay attention that the old camera remains once you flash the zip. At least this happened to me. Check in the app drawer for a second camera, and gallery, application.

Thanx for the answer, but i've search my phone and no such luck. When i install zip in recovery everything goes ok, but after restart there is no new camera. Really have clue what is wrong.
Considering that another user experienced problems in xxls7 up herr, we can say it definetely doesn't work on that version then.

No, it works fine on RRv3 LS7. I've tested it. But there is a drawback, you will encounter problems with Stock Gallery and Camera. For eg, Gallery framework will be messed up, and Camera will have issues with no respond issues which then ended up in FC.
However, the 4.2 camera app and gallery works fine, but there is no way to change store location to external sdcard.
All in all, i'll wait for the Camera JB+ 4.2 app in Playstore, i'm sure someone will make an apk from it.

Not working for me - I'm also on RRv3 LS7. After install, no new Camera nor Gallery icon appears..
EDIT: I've made some room in system/app and it worked. But the de-warp algorithm still requires lot of improvement - results are less than satisfactory...

Running on PA 2.99. Little buggy. Lots of FC in the new camera and gallery. Luckily the old ones are still there for me to use.
Working fine on stock 4.0.4 with philz 3.99 kernal.

push these files which are in .zip with rootexplorer, and set permiisions, reboot and thats it
Thanks its working on my stock rom 4.0.4 with stock kernel and rooted. I have tried so many dumps of this camers but none worked. This one is great. I dont think i might be needing JB now. Most of the jb features are now already on my ics. I just want the note 2 gallery. Because the ics gallery on note is the worst thing on the whole touchwiz.

4.1.2 was PERFECT. You just had to change the numbers on app settings and you were good to go.
4.3 broke everything.
Changing Android+SystemUI leaves a gap, the s-pen doesn't work right, the keyboard screws up BIG TIME.
I can't stand the HUGE, GINORMOUS statusbar (which is in the first place the reason why i want to change my phone's dpis).
I really don't understand why they made the statusbar and notification bar items so gigantic.
The Note 2 has a 5,5" screen and YET due to the size chosen for those items, you can see less concurrent notifications than a 4,3" phone.

and yes, m using Hurricanev5(4.3) AT 240DPI!

That would be totally awesome, can you make the mod so that it works on odexed roms, so then later it would be possible to use your mod on stock roms, and they are coming very soon now, so you won't need to redo all over again.

I have made one for myself with mix and match of 240dpi apps around here on the forum. Installed the new ditto app, reboot, flash my package and all is working like a dream very impressed with myself as it was the first time I tried something like this.

Lower the dpi, smaller the fonts and interface. Bigger the dpi for eg 320,looks big like in stock rom.
No big problem with me at 280dpi

Hello, I've installed Dr.Ketan, i tried install your MOD. I came up with alot of errors and FC. Then I decided to have another clean install on Dr.Ketan ROM. Install the fix V3 patch. Then I install your MOD. Same thing all FC like crazy cant even operate my phone, i need to shutdown and re-install the whole ROM again. Can't find any solution to it. But hey, everyone else is happy with your MOD. Too bad for me. Meh..

Its because you are missing Note3 app package. You need to have Note3 app package installed before flashing this mod.

he is saying that his neo camera is sometimes just stopping, blank, camera failed and it cant get it work without a phone restart....the same thing is happening to me, camera works for a few days and then just i cant turn it on, it says camera failed and i need to restart it to get it back up, then it works fine.....whipeing the catche doesnt work, i have none other app in conflict, downloaded from play store

I have the same problem, I'm using Trinidad and Tobago firmware KitKat 4.4.4 , Galaxy S3 Neo GT I9300I. I will try to flash another firmware from another region to see if it's better???

im useing that firmware I9301IXXUANF4_I9301IOXXANF2_SEE ...on the phone info it says that is from 25 june but i think that that is what it says july....aaand its happening again, just less, about 10 days it didnt happend and yesterday it did...here is logcat file...
and how firmware from november works? camera good?

I think Viber makes camera crash. I've removed Viber and there is no more problems with black camera screen.

my camera is working before until I flashed it with some random ROM region
now I can't use my camera. I don't know what to do, should I download another region of rom and reflash it instead?
because I'm still hoping that it can fix it.
for sure its not a hardware defect.
