I want a tablet with IR Blaster for a remote... I like the nexus and thought it had the IR blaster... Is there any other good tables besides the Tab 2's and Notes that have the IR blaster?

Get a Xperia Tablet Z if you really want that IR.
I would avoid Samsung's tablets if you can.

I don't think so... I think the Note 10.1 is about 4mm thicker than the S-pen.
If the Engadget specs are correct then the Note 10.1 is 8,9 mm thick and the pen looks like a regular S-Pen which is 5mm in diameter.

Wow, its very interesting... as the S3 is released I think it would be great to upgrade the Note family
It's official, TMobile has cut the galaxy note out. Why? Probably has to do with the fact that the note 2 is around the corner. And I waited all this time for the note to come out on TMobile! Late to the party note, thanks. Although I did get a note and I love it for it's huge display and stylus, there is nothing else impressive about this phone. All I can do now is wait for the note 2, will be announced thus month on the 29th, and enjoy the last few breaths this note has left,in it.

Well, besides the brick-bug which can easily be avoided, what is there to dislike? I mean, other than the quad-core behemoths, the Note is still a very powerful device and the large screen plus S Pen just add to its capabilities. If you don't find a use for the S Pen, or larger screen, then why not just get an Galaxy S3 or HTC One X rather than wait for the Note 2?

IM guessing that's directed at me since you did quote me. X) I actually traded my have for the TMobile note last week. I love the big screen and the stylus, but the note could have definitely used more ram. Most of the time at Any given usage the note is occupying more than %85 of ram and it's clearly obvious. I love the note, just wish the size matched it's internal hardware specs. Note 2 is ganna rock.
Sent from my SGH-T879 using xda app-developers app
Speaking about RAM, yes I agree Note has bare minimum available to run smoothly. When I run Tasker with sweet sounding Loquendo TTS engine announcing vital info, things start to load afresh when apps are switched.

Wow, this looks very nice! They don't list the S2 (D710) as a supported device, but since you have the S3, do you think the S2 would fit? I know they both fit in the same car dock. My phone is Sprint's S2 that they call the Epic 4g Touch.

Will it Ever be possible to take the touchwiz and multiscreen, floating keyboards and the different layouts everything that is on note 10.1 but without the S-pen functions. To flash it to Nexus 10?
Likely not
Likely as in 98% of it not happening.

We know that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is more or less confirmed, although official photos of the device and its official specs have yet to be announced. However thanks to the folks at SamMobile, they have received a couple of photos which according to the person who sent them in, are that of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus. The tipper went on to claim that instead of calling it the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus, Samsung will instead rename it to the Samsung Galaxy S Tab, and will be banking on the success of the Galaxy S-line of smartphones and will apparently be marketing it in a similar fashion as well.
The alleged leaked photo looks similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, albeit with different placement of the home button. Then again this could be the design language Samsung is adopting for its products, so it wouldn’t be a complete shocker. As for its specs, these are the rumored specs of the tablet for those who are curious. It will apparently come with an Exynos 5410 Octa chipset, 2GB of RAM, a 9,000mAh battery, a 10.055” display with 2560×1600 resolution (300PPI), an 8MP camera, Full HD video capture, and will come with microSD card support. No mention of which version of Android it will be running on.(probable 4.1.2 or 4.2.2)
see attachments for the photo
Whoa... Too curvy corners, bad button placement.... I prefer if they kept the same design and just made the back not slippery.

I think that's fake, why would they include a hardware button? Seriously, almost every tablet from Samsung has had no physical home button, and with the majority of people who dislike the physical buttons, I doubt Samsung would design that monstrosity.
