Database Users

[Q] Noob Root/Rom Query

Hi All,
I'm a noob here so please be gentle!
I have bought a brand new Galaxy S4 (I9505 Baseband is I9505XXUBMEA)
I am looking to install the Google Play Edition ROM on my phone but so far have failed to root the device.
I am using a Macbook Air, so I am looking for methods using OSX. I have tried using motochopper but this failed, possibly because I have an updated firmware on the phone.
Any help, advice or links would be greatly appreciated (mostly as I can't stand touchwiz!)
I want to root, install CWM Recovery, and flash Google Play Edition. Sound deceptively simple!

Need SM-N900 recovery

Hello, I have been working on a custom recovery and I borked my device. If someone could send me the stock recovery or custom recovery for the SM-N900 I would appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

Nfc fix not working.! Help please

Sup guys!
Im using the assasin rom on my Canadian note 3. Applied the wifi nfc fix. So wifi is working and nfc is still not working.
Any ideas what it could be?
