[Q] Unable to update trough Kies

Hi!
After flashing a custom Rom (Omega 2.2), my device entered a strange situation: even with the security lock activated, I am not able to flash trough Odin.
To fix it, I am trying to update the firmware trough Kies, but it keep saying that my SN number can´t be verified. Any suggestion?
Thank you very much!
Regards!

Have you got reactivation lock on if so turn it off
I just posted a question regarding that. For some strange reason, even unchecked, the lock remains on...
Thanks!

Unlocking help needed

Hi all first of all the phone is locked to EE I tried the *#0011# method and at first I couldn't get into the right menu which I've found out to be the modem that is installed needs to be me2 or older.
So I have flashed the me2 modem and was able to get the menu to turn the lock off but I can't get to the next menu to save the setting ?
So do I need to flash an older firmware version to match the older modem? To get the menu to appear?
I'm thinking to flash a o2 stock firmware to see if that works?
Thanks for any advice

Service code for adjusting i9500 message center number?

I'm using a custom ROM without the stock message center app.

Just plug it in an old phone eg. Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Blackberry etc2 those phones will let you set it up or it'll set them up automatically. That's what I do when I mess up my msg center no.

Once you have rooted your phone, you have to delete a file in system, wich overwrites the custom recovery with the original. But i don't remember wich file it is. I think Google know it.:cyclops:
EDIT: I found it: you need a root Explorer. Go to system/etc and delete "install-recovery.sh"
After that, flash a custom recovery. Now it should work.
What also helps sometimes is to uncheck "auto-reboot" in Odin.
When the flashing is finished, you just hold the power button for 10 sec (until it reboots).
