Brand new to rooting so please don't murder me!!!

New to rooting and looks like I made the dumbest rookie mistake I allowed my phone to do the O T A update and now when I try a recovery boot all I get is a red trangle. My phone is still showing me rooted and functions fine but when I volume and power I got straight to the red trangle some body help!!!

Please Help me ! cannot go into recovery with my X8

I had recently installed Prime HD V8. But upon rebooting or starting the phone i cannot go to recovery mode even with pressing the button on the phone ! please help me with this !

Im assuming your on stock, I suggest you read the rom's thread, your Answer is in there

My phone starts in download mode i have to press camera and power for it to start amd then it starts but the cam app dont open and the home button acts as the vol dwn and vice versa help mee

u can flash anew rom using kdz updater

i've tried
i now assume its water damage as the indicator has gone pink

Go to lg and get it repaired.

Hi guys, I want to root my phone. But my home button isn't working properly! So couldn't do that 3 button holding thing. Any other ways to go Recovery mode? Please help :/

There is not any another way to go in recovery mode or may be!!
At first try to go in recovery mode and flash 14 toggle statusbar . There is a option to reboot in recovery and it's really cool!!

Use "adb reboot recovery".

How to do that? Please explain!

Try dwnlding the reboot app frm playstore....I dnt knw if it will work on unrooted devices...

[trouble] fc pressing settings shortcut

Guys, i added a shortcut button on my statusbar. But when i click it, it force close but it still go to settings. Im using custock dxmj1+addon Hope you could help me out guys. Thanks!
