[Q] Bell Galaxy S4 Stock ROM

I have a bell i337m galaxy s4. I installed a google edition rom. Now I need to sell my S4 so i need to go back to stock touchwiz. I can't find anything. I need the touchwiz rom. Please reply as soon as possible!
Grab the firmware for bell here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2269304 and flash with Odin. You may find yourself in a boot loop after. To fix boot into recovery and factory reset
As you are rooted running custom recovery you most likely triggered the flash counter. To solve install triangle away and reset the counter before you boot into download mode and use Odin

I have superuser but it says I'm not rooted. Should I use the i337m root or GT-I9505G root. Because when I boot it shows i337m. But model number shows up as GT-I9505G. I am so confused!

Problems installing twrp

Goo manager was giving me an invalid md5 sum. It finally installed okay but when I reboot into recovery I get a failed boot and it goes to Odin mode. How can I fix this? I am rooted and I think I have an updated gs4

I am guessing there is still no hack for MF3? Do you know if you were on MF3? If you were on MF3 then you are putting yourself in disaster. When you go to download mode and cancel it will it reboot into the ROM?

This thread is filled with people with your issues and were able to resolve it by going to Best Buy to get it flashed to stock mf3. Read this thread to get some better idea:

It's not really a disaster. When I try to go to recovery, it puts me in Odin. I turn off the phone and boot to download mode, hit cancel then the phone reboots normally.

Are you on MF3? You need to search for other situations to see if anyone found a flashable recovery. I don't hang around too often and from what I have saw is your recovery remains broken. If you are on AMDL you should be able to flash it back but if not then you are stuck how the phone is ATM unless you can find an Odin flashable recovery for MF3.

[Q] TWRP 2.7 -- Lost Recovery GREAT

So, I installed TWRP 2.7 on my GS4 via mobile terminal. My device had the radio updated to MLD from @rockrat(which i thought was not effecting my recovery options how he extracted it) --upon updating to TWRP 2.7 i rebooted into recovery and got the "Software Not Supported by AT&T" locked bootloader message.
I have tried flashing .tar recoveries in Odin-- it fails auth
I have tried using mobile terminal to go back to older recoveries and all i end up with is the same not supported by AT&T.
Have i now fu#ked myself out of using a recovery besides Safestrap? I have a custom kernel on board, I have 4.4.2 and root is fine. I just _think_ from what I've read that I'm now trapped on a Galaxy with no recovery boat.
Crowd-- please say It ain't so
I think you forgot to flash loki again. Unless your recovery auto-loki, I believe you have to flash loki every time you flash something in recovery.

If your firmware is MDB or MDL check out the post by dees_troy "TWRP 2.6.0 Recovery" in the development section and read the last couple of pages. This may help you. Good luck.

Thanks guys, I figured it out. TWRP team a) doesn't have a gs4 b) forgot to f'n Loki the recovery. c)I had never in all my flashing known the recovery sector needed Loki, also I was stumped because In using terminal emulator I thought if was reverting to a previous build but for some reason it wasn't. d)Flashify came in and saved the day.

I didn't understand if you are facing issue with rooting your phone or installing custom recovery? And which android version is installed on your phone and which method did you follow to root your phone?
I was running 4.4, and while doing both root and recovery i was facing issue in odin, it used to get stuck at reset. But now i uncheckd the auto-reboot option and now its working

But i didnt understand 1 thng, that when I unchecked auto-reboot option although it installed the TWRP recovery, but still PASS didnt come there, it was still stuck on reset.. What is the problem here, as i may also face it in future when updating TWRP

If you have sucessfully flash twrp you don't need to use odin again to flash another recovery you can do it by flashing it from the same recovery. You'd only need ODIN when you cant access your recovery and need to enter download mode to flash recovery.I hope you are using img.tar file to flash twrp via odin and not .zip

And which android version u r using?

Recovery says seandroid enforcing?

I'm a noob to all this so I really need your help
When i try to boot up recovery I get:
Recovery is not seandroid enforcing. It starts to reboot and the same thing.
If I boot into download mode and cancel, it boots up properly.
Then when I go into ROM manager and select a different recovery like twrp (was using CWM before) and it boots I get the same message!
I'd like to be able to download roms and all that fun stuff but I'm not sure what to do. I still have SU permission
Is there anyway to flash a new recovery through Odin or factory reset the whole device and recovery?

It is normal to get seandroid enforcing for recovery as you changing the samsung recovery, if you want to get back to normal you can flash samsung firmware via odin, if you want to flash custom rom, flash it on ur cwm recovery. Btw did you install correct version of CWM? If its not, download correct cwm and reflash. It will be fine.
Okay so its normal to get the seandroid enforcing but I still can't access CWM recovery.
I have some more information that might help.
I have the note 3 SM N900W8 but I got my root from the 9005 version which works great. The 900W8 root method had some bugs.
I tried reflashing root and it brought me back to the stock recovery of the 9005
Was wondering maybe I should install the 9005 CWM recovery?

TWRP 2.7.0.0.
http://goo.im/devs/OpenRecovery/hltecan
Latest one on the bottom.
Choose the .tar file and flash it in Odin.
Still annoyed with red text......
I used towelroot on my SM-N900W8 Note 3 cuz I cont have a PC to use for Odin, and I don't have friends to borrow a laptop from... ;PP.
Anyway, after much wrestling with CWM, I tried TWRP and had success finally getting the thing to boot to recovery, and installing CM 11. HOWEVER THROUGH IT ALL, ROOT CHECKER INSISTED I DID NOT HAVE ROOT ACCESS. ??
I downloaded TWRP, and the firmware, the ROM and GAPPS and flashed the whole thing through TWRP.... all the while having no root access..... whatever.
The device works fine, but on every re-boot I still get the line "seandroid not enforcing". Also, I was playing with Ultimate Screenshot, and got the error a bunch of times that I did not have root access, despite SU, Busybox, and Titanium Backup working fine...... I dunno what is up with this ....
Should I flash another kernel???... I'm an amatuer at all this so I'm a little lost.
Thanks to all the geeks here for the great info!!!!

You won't get rid of the seandroid not enforcing, it's because of the custom recovery and it's normal.
You have to enable root access in the developers options in settings. Next time do some more reading, it won't hurt you.

No that is true, more reading never hurt anyone. Of course then again neither has having manners.
Incidentally I've resolved the problem, regarding having "half root". It would appear I'll just get used to the annoying red text.
