Please do me a favor and you might thank yourself later
Download & install a File Explorer from the Market, copy all the files in /system/app to /sdcard and post/attach your MediaHub.apk here please. /system/app has all the applications that you might need to fall back on once you flash the tab with Euro rom.
I would tar the /system/app directory to a file but that might be too much work for some
Thank you very much!
How did you registered for the $50 credit. I can't register everytime I try in www.samsung.com/register. It keeps saying that my imei is wrong or that I have to select a sub-category. Thanks.
At&t was not even listed so i selected wireless provider & fill in everything else. No issue.
Once u regisrter, they will send u the voucher in email
Sorry I may be going a bit off topic...
Samsung is giving a $50 credit for registering your product?
I think it's Samsung USA only mate. Registered my Bell unit today and got nothing but some spam about a washer and dryer in my inbox.
I do hope someone could copy all of these apk in /system/app before they flash theirs. How could I sticky this?

You can't sticky, one of the moderators has to, who apparently are on vacation or something because they haven't stickied the post to make calls with a AT&T tab, a true achievement by the xda community...
Anyway, I can copy these files for you but I have a question, if I root my Tab can i return it to the store for a full refund (if I don't stay with it)?

It doesn't sound like you used z4root? If yes, you could un-root your tab using it. I see you have Tmobile ava. We need to have the AT&T apk. Just want to make sure. Thanks!

REALLY!!!
If you will read my post again, I actually ask people, btw not just AT&T tab users, who will flash theirs with different ROM to back up /system/app
For US users who will buy the AT&T tab, they will receive a $50 credit for media hub. Once you flash the tab to have call feature back, media hub that comes with the Euro rom or even media hub that comes with the original firmware won't let you use the voucher.
Since you have not been keeping up with AT&T flash and issues, thought I would explain to you. Thank you for your support tho
Can't believe no one posted this yet.

Thank you much! could you please also post build.prop in /system directory? Thanks again!!!
ct, this MediaHub.apk is prolly the same one you posted as it asks me to update again. If I select OK, it will take me to Market and there isn't any update. If I click Cancel it closes the app.
So there must be another config file somewhere that it forces the update. I'm hoping it's in the build.prop...thus the request.

When it asks to upgrade it tries to open a market link which is on the at&t market store which does not exist if you are running the euro firmware.
So we need someone to post the medihub.apk AFTER he upgraded to the latest version .
I can't even reclaim the $50 at&t credit cause i can't register my tab on Samsung.com. Any ideas?

I have become increasingly frustrated with this device! I am trying to run the *#1234# code in the stock dialer to view my AP and CSC so that I may root via the Root de la Vega method. But when the code runs it just comes back saying "Unable to Process Request". I've tried everything such as dialing just #1234#, *#1234#*, resets, factory resets, posting the question here previously (as I cannot post in the actual forum thread yet due to posting limitations) but it was deleted with no message to let me know why, nothing works. I cannot root safely without being able to view this code and was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem? Not sure if it's relevant but my carrier is T-mobile and I am using the 32gb White model. Everything is still stock. I really need help with this, I'm ready to go back to my note 2 because at least that had root -_-. Someone please help!?

You have to be rooted and "enable" the entry of service codes via the dialer first.
For the VZW Note 3, I've confirmed this works - Edit the contents of /efs/carrier/HiddenMenu from OFF to ON (must be capitalized)...reboot and you're good to go.
If that doesn't work for non VZW Note 3's, you can try the full steps listed here!

This is very confusing , if I'm trying to obtain root I need to already be rooted? If I root without using the Vega method I'll trip the knox counter no? I'm trying to avoid that. Seems like a catch 22 to me?

Having the same problem, but THANK you for the Checkfus recommendation. That does provide the CSC.
It doesn't show AP though.
However, (new road block) my CSC is N900VVZWMI9 , I don't see that in the list https://mega.co.nz/#F!n9JnyI5S!VKmm1hxHlhIxWo1bXeIfLA
So I guess we will have to wait... Correct?
I am having a similar problem, I just opened my Note 3 and when I dial *#1234# nothing happens, if I click send, it actually tries to dial it. I need to know the AP and CSC so I can root. Obviously I can't follow the steps above since I'm not rooted yet.
Remember.. You have to use native dialer when entering codes.. I was using a third party dialer app and it only dialed.

I can't get my msl using any current suggested method and I can't call sprint besides they suck I need to get my msl and this phone is locked down to the extreme. 4.3 jelly bean sucks because of it someone plz guide Me or make something so I can retieve the msl. I rooted the phone but without a good kernal this phone has alot of secuity shame on samsung I have the galaxy note 3 for sprint help! I need to access the data and edit. Please don't help if your going to mention to call sprint or chatting them that's such a cop out lazymethod that sprint wants I'll praise the developer who helps as a god
People who are getting their codes because they already have an account and posting to say they got theirs in 5 minutes directly on a call or on chat are missing the point...he obviously doesn't have an account and can't get it. The phone would have to temporarily be placed on the account to view the msl... if phone is black listed they won't put it on the account thus the method of getting the msl with an account does not work.
Flash the MDC Baseband from the Sprint Galaxy 4 to your Sprint Note 3, and your problem will be solved. You will then be able to retrieve your MSL via older methods (i.e. Connectbot, Get My MSL, etc) and access the NVM folder on your phone. Backup the phone's current baseband so that you can return the baseband back to normal after getting your MSL and/or accessing the NVM folder.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-note-7/how-to/root-super-leaky-bros-sprint-galaxy-t3447202
To get LTE to work again just add the T-Mobile APN (not that hard).
Also, you might want to freeze all the "Sprint OMADM" packages with titanium backup once you're rooted (will cause less of a hassle everytime you boot. I understand the devs in the "all things root" thread are holding this from you because they want to fix wifi calling but I think giving you root at all will tie you over for now. Also, I'm having problems downloading the gear VR apps with this so it's related to following this tutorial.
Thank you so much to the developers who made this possible for the Sprint note 7 and for everyone who brought this to the other variants (the T-Mobile note 7 was the easiest imo). It's a little funny to think that this whole time it was this easy and we could've been rooted all along. *If you really need the T-Mobile firmware rooted so you can enjoy wifi calling I've been working on something for a few hours but it's not ready.*
T-Mobile APN: https://bestmvno.com/apn-settings/t-mobile-apn-settings/

Here's the APN information for T-Mobile if you need it.

I thought it was going to be a quick video tutorial
If you're wondering why the model number ends with a "P" is because it's sprint firmware, silly. Your model number will appear as that. In the video you can see I am on T-Mobile. Yes, I do have a T-Mobile note 7. You can find some of my posts of me waiting for my note 7 in Charlie's waiting room thread.

It's literally the same thing as rooting the sprint note 7 except you need to add your APN and disable a few packages. Not that hard.

Uh, this is from freeza? It's his thread that you are following but for the sprint note 7. It turns out it flashes perfectly on the T-Mobile note 7 with no problems and you can add the T-Mobile APN to fix LTE (that's what worked for me).
He leaked the firmware, we're toying with his work (well I barely did anything as you didn't need to do much different for the T-Mobile variant). But yes, I can see why you'd wait for the official ONLY if it is based off of T-Mobile firmware.

It's fine, it's root. Better than nothing. You can always use a Google voice number for the meantime if you really want to. We can always make a T-Mobile flashable ROM and flash it with FlashFire.

You need to make a folder called "sun7". Then extract all the contents of the zip you download into that folder. Wherever ADB is installed that folder needs to be in the same directory. Or if ADB is not in the same location provide the path.
Example: adb.exe push C:\pathtofilehere /directory/guide/tellsyouto/pushfoldercontentsto

Hopefully I haven't trashed my phone. I tried doing one of the root methods and now my phone is stuck. Running the factory refresh does nothing but kick me back into the boot loader. And when I try to install any firmware I get an error "Complete(Write) operation failed" in Odin (I have tried a couple different versions) and I get an error on the phone also "SW REV CHECK FAIL : [system]Fused 3> Binary 2"
I am hoping that if I install the latest firmware PK1, if it ever finishes downloading, that it will un-brick my phone.
Is there anything else I can do to prepare my phone for this. Will reinstalling the latest firmware fix those write and SW REV check errors.
I finally downloaded g930pvps4apk1 and when I try to install it I am getting the same errors, Odin = Write failed, phone = sw rev check fail : system Fused 3 > binary 1

I only flashed the AP, CP and CSC file, based on the following info I found in the forums.
Why I chose the CSC file.
CSC -> there's a PIT inside and will wipe your device
HOME_CSC -> the data should stay on your device
And I didn't flash the BL file based on the instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...msung-galaxy-s7-sm-g930p-root-xposed-t3503599

Well, I will just have to see if Suhide and Root Switch work. Its not like I want constant root. I just want it long enough to debloat this damn thing. I really wish Sprint hadn't forced me to buy a new phone to get their service. I should have went to T-Mo. Would have costed me the same per month anyway, and I could have kept my nexus.

oh sorry for that. I don't really use mms which is why i didnt recognize that. Though the calls and normal texts work for you right? I'm pretty positive that you just need to input correct settings for that to work somewhere in your APN settings. But I'm not 100% sure. Just play with your apn. I'm glad that they're doing a new thread about this because honestly, after that root and i guess the sim unlock too, it made my phone SUPER SLUGGISH. Let's hope for that thread to come but meanwhile im sticking to this.

Yeah it was sluggish at first until I flashed the v15 fix. Voice and MMS wouldn't work no matter what, but data stuck. I used the same apn as stock, build prop edits etc.. it was nice finally rooting my s7 considering it was on pk1 when I bought it. No worries I'll wait until nougat unless a fix comes up. This is my first non-nexus phone in 3 years so everything is still new to me.
Edit: that was without the idoneapps sim unlock. I just flashed the engineer boot and ran the root file. might be why I couldn't get voice or data lol

I couldn't find an earlier version of Package Disabler Pro. The newer version don't allow you to disable the 3 packages alright it seems I can't downgrade to PE1 , I'm going to subscribe to this thread just in case something new comes up.
look.

I have to pass on trying this root method. Paying a shady company for a shady app falls out of my comfort zone.
