Hey all!
Before playing NOVA 2 for the Xperia Play, I really really wanted to try and play first the first game, NOVA. I only have my Xperia Play at the moment. When I try to purchase it from gameloft website it says my phone is not supported. UNDERSTOOD.
Now, when switching from the dropdown box to Xperia Neo or Xperia Arc, it let's me pass through payment and buy the game. UNDERSTOOD.
Now if I push through buying the game with Xperia Neo or Arc as the version selected (as those have the same processing specs to the XPlay), will the purchase push through? Will the download commence? I'm fine using the screen for controls as I understand NOVA is not supported by Xperia Play.
You see, these days $3 is already worth a lot. It's better to be sure.
Dude, I just purchased NOVA 2 last night, works well using gaming controls..
The only problem I encounter is I always got error when downloading the data, but the good thing is its resumable, so if you have an error, you can still continue your progress..
As per your question, just try it.. Just contact their support If you have any problems. (sarap nya laruin tol, pramis..)
yup I tried the cracked version already and hell it really rocks! but i didn't finish Mission 1 and deleted the game instead as I want to buy it in the future. as for now, I really want to play the original NOVA.. tsk tsk
Hi guys
I wanted to know if anyone can port the Media Remote App that comes with the new Xperia Tablet S to the Note 10.1. I really like the features that the Tablet S has to offer in terms of the remote. Since both the tablets have an IR blaster, can this be made possible??
And how good is the Peel Remote given by Samsung??
If it has already been ported, can you kindly post the link here???
Not sure if that works!
Sony might have a different IR sensor. So different drivers nessesary.
IMHO Peel sucks! A: Needs online for new Remote (okay... you're always on newset source...) B: doesn't work with my Denon Audio... On/Off does, nothing else. And Humax isn't even supported!
TouchSquid might be nice. But only ON/OFF in free version! and i don't really want to pay 40$ ....
P.S Seems like Samsung gave to code to their IR transmitter, Sony didn't!
Sony's app is available on the play store. I have it on my tablet.

It is on the Play Store but it looks like that version only supports WiFi, no IR.

The only one that i found on the play store is the one which is used to control the Bravia series and the Sony BluRay players. I didnt find the one that sony is using in its new tablet. That one IMHO is KICK ASS AWESOME.
If any developers who have the new Tablet S, can you try to get the code from it and the apk to work in this???
@moderator: can this be put in the android development forum???
I've searched for hours the best smartwatch for this. Here are my needs: not bluetooth-dependent, aka watch-phone (all I need is wifi really) but I still do plan on pairing it to my device... I also want to create my own apps easily, much like that with Tasker scenes. I am a coder as well but never coded android apps, only pc. It looks like a nightmare. Correct me if I'm wrong. I am interested in Sony SW2 sdk, but that looks taunting. I would like Sony but I would also like to use wifi. Is that possible with some modding? I want an independent smartwatch that can also pair with my phone. I also want app creation for various things. Waiting is a last resort. Thanks.

Take a look at SmartQ's Z-watch. Had the sw2...preferred Z as daily driver.
I now have the TS due to 2nd line necessity....be honest, I miss the Z.

I think the best one for developing apps on it will be the AI Watch, best specs putting all the other smartwatches in shame.

Is this the new preorder one? I just looked at their website, it looks pretty future-tech. I can't find any "good" info on their current one.

Thanks, this watch looks like a great deal. The deal-breaker for me is being water-proof and having the headphone jack.
@mghtymse007 Can I ask you: have you tried Tasker on your Z watch? Does scene creation work? Does Tasker Gingerbread work better? (Tasker Gingerbread also works on 4.x) If you could try it out that'd be nice. Thanks,

Did you see the video ?
The spec are the best I ever seen on a smartwatch....
I already pre order
I know there are methods around using "any android" device with the Gear 2 smart-watch but has anyone here successfully connected their Xperia Z3C to a Gear or Gear 2? Did you have to root your Z3C in order to connect?
Thanks,

The same question
Just an update to this incase anyone else was wondering. The Xperia Z3C and the Neo 2 work perfectly with each other, even the ability to make phone calls. The only downside is the inability to install Samsung apps on the watch since the samsung appstore can't be loaded onto the Xperia.

Hi all,
Newbie here. Looking for some advice. I can't decide which watch to purchase between the following: U8, U8 Pro, U10 or the ZGPAX S8.
New to these smartwatches hence can't make mind up. Any help appreciated.:good:
Anyone?
what do you want to use it for?
standalone?
companion?
notifications?
pedometer?
etc...
i myself would never buy any of the u8/u10 watches, it's near impossible to get support for them
and with the recent discovery of clones of these crappy watches....
no experience with zgpax, so can't really advice you on any of the mentioned watches

Thanks for your reply. I would be looking to use it for standalone, companion, notifications. Are there any other watches you recommend?
Moto 360 is my suggestion.
Other smartwatchs
Why the zgpax s8? zgpax s5 can have a upgradeable battery from the 500mah it comes with to a 700mah.
The z watch by smartq works great to both run Android either 4.3 or 4.4
But the u8,u8 Pro and u10 are all about the same and they are cheap in quality and price wise, so I wouldn't buy them either.
and it all still depends on your price range as well z watch is between $75-120, while the zgpax s5, s6, and s8 range from $120 to $160 but all of them have a lot of support threads on here. I think the zgpax s5 has its own big thread with daily posts.
Well, I have the s8. don't know If you're still looking but I'm loving it. I spent $180 for mine. I'm rooted and preset the watch to 4.4.4.... So all my apps can upgrade. Now I have Google now cards with Nova launcher and use nils notifier with android L cards.
