I think only in custom roms`s like Cyanogenmod and maybe others. Why don`t you use Pie control and install LMT launcher?
Use a custom rom like cm

AOKP works as well as the above. I think most any of the custom ROMs do.

Ok, so on my stock lockscreen, you can slide in any direction to unlock, but it looks like there should be places for other shortcuts, like email or phone icons, but I cannot find a setting for it anywhere.
Am I missing something? Do I need an app to do this?
I am running the latest 4.2 jelly bean, no root.

There is nothing stock that does it. As for an app, there's holo locker, but you might lose the widget functionality. You could also look into new Roms.

Is there a mod out there to add this feature to any rom? Or is it a simple framework modification?

You could edit the framework. I'm not sure what exactly you have to change. I do know how to change the slider icon though.

Hey all
Can anyone give me an image file (PNG, JPEG, whatever!) For the new NavBar default icons offered in the Xylon ROM (Feb.23rd nightly)?
An image for the search, home, back, menu, and recent app window
I have really grown to like them and I want to keep them forever, when I change ROMs or devices I want them still

Re: [REQUEST] XYLON NavBar Icon Images
Hi,
Download the rom, ectract / open SystemUI.apk (with Winrar for example) and go to /res/drawable-xhdpi and you'll see the icons you want like ic_sysbar_******.png then extract them... All the navbar buttons are ic_sysbar_menu / search / recent, etc... And don't forget the ic_sysbar_******_land.png (for landscape mode).

If you are rooted there are several apps in Play that add that option like Quickboot, Power Togggles and more.
Or flash a custom ROM e.g. CM10?

First question would be... Are you rooted?

Hi,
I've just flashed the 4.3 deodexed image. I'm looking for an extended power menu mod. Is there any for 4.3? If yes, I would appreciate a link.
Thanks!

Install the xposed framework app then install modaco toolkit. All can be found in xda just search for their titles

I installed both. The modaco option for power menu doesn't work. Other options work though, like battery percentage.
Any advice?

I have "Extended Power Menu" installed from the playstore and it works perfectly on 4.3 but you need to be rooted. I have SuperSU v1.45 installed for root.

Hi there,
I am running cm11 nightly and I was wandering what directory contains the images for the icons on the bottom bar? I know cm themes can change them but I would like to be able to change them manually.
Thanks

system ui apk, inside /system/app (or priv-app don't remember).
I know you can change using soft key z (free on xda), don't know if you can use custom, you may look at it
