Is anyone else having issues with the phone freezing when you open gallery or try to send MMS?
Does anybody know a solution to this problem?

If your pictures are stored on your SD card, it may be a good idea to copy all your SD card to your PC, and try Formatting your SD card in your Phone and then copying the files back, it seems that doing this has helped a lot of people with SD card related issues.

Hi to all,
yesterday, while i was using bluetooth in my car, it get stucked and, tryng to stop BT service, i get a phone crash, with a reboot.
After that, I noticed my gallery was empty, but all images are still there in my memory card. So I can't see them from N1 Gallery (I get the empty messge)
I tried to delete the .thunmbnail directory in DCIM folder with no luck.
I also tried to reboot a lot of times, also pulling out the MicroSd from slot, but doesn't work.
Is there someone can help me out there?
Thanks

Try installing a different gallery, like Multitouch Gallery from the Market. Do they show up there?
Hi Paul22000,
thanks for your answer.
I unfortunely discovered that my SD was damaged.
So I formatted It, but that doesen't solve my problem. Now I'd like to buy a new one, but I don't know if the brand new SD HC class 10 from Kingstone are compatible with my N1.
The problem is that also HTC doesn't know it!!
Do you know something about that?
UPDATE: I formatted my SD with Panasonic SD Formatting Tool and now seems to work. Pheraps it's not phisically corrupted.
Hi guys,
Don't know if this is a known issue. I flashed jpm with odin, everything was working fine. But suddenly I couldn't play a music file, I checked if the file was still there on the SD but it was gone. In fact all there was on the SD, was: a dcim, a lost.dir and a .androidsecure directory. WTF! I decided to format the card and to just fill it up again with some music. And now it deleted everything AGAIN! WTF!
Really really annoyed here, anyone the same problem? Regards

Umm, I'm not an expert here, but don't you usually remove both your sim and sd card before flashing via Odin?
Never did that before,
I flashed jm8 exactly the same way and never experienced any issues.
Maybe your card is dying... Try using a different SDcard and see if the issue remains. Good luck

If the card was dying why would there still be folders in them.
And it is a little strange that it happens shortly after flashing

I've said that because I've had a Xperia X1 before and a 4GB Sandisk and I had the same issue... After I've changed the SD card nothing happened anymore...

cool will try, did it place some standard android folders on the card again as well?
I get the android.process.media and FC only when I initially boot Android from my SD. I have the Froyo _v3 released on 26th Oct. I am not sure yet what this problem causes but I am suspecting it may be affecting the camera since whenever I take pics it just freezes on the frame and I have to kill the camera before I can take another pic.
any suggestions on a solution.
thanks
HTC HD2
Not to sound like a Smart Arse;
But I suggest formatting and trying a different build.
that happened to me,
all what i did is that i formatted my sd card and it worked again like a charm
dont forget to backup your data
I found out how to fix this error. For future reference, Nandroid your phone than completely wipe and nandroid back. This has fixed all my com.process.media errors. That error stops all media from working ie:ringtones etc
is this the ONLY fix?

Let me get this straight. I have to dump my whole 16g memory card into my pc. Reformat the memory card and then dump everything back? Won't the problem I had before show up once I transfer the files back?
What exactly is causing this error? i would not mind resetting the ringtones, but it is the battery drain and high CPU that is killing me.
Also, I take it that this is the consensus "only" way to fix this, correct? Thanks in advance.
Just a thought, maybe useless suggestion, but did anyone of you delete the htcleo.acdb file from system/etc/firmware?
If you did, try putting it back from your rom and see if that corrects it. Apparently from reading people who are using their SDcards with ext3-4 and I THINK app2sd+ suffer from this issue. If thats not the case then ignore what I said and I'm talking out of my arse.
Nothing working for me! Did it multiple time! No luck! Help!
Any one experiencing random files being deleted off the SD card,
It seems to effect photos and pictures more than APK's or zip files
Cant work it out, not sure if the Sony sync software is backing them up and deleting them or its my SD card.
Any one else experiencing this ?
I cant remember if i read something about Ginger break maybe the cause of doing this or not
I never heard of this issue before, but GingerBreak did not remove any contents from my SD card when I rooted my Rogers Arc.
I had the same problem, at first I thought that it seems to me but no its real problem. You must format your SD Card in the Arc (i changed from FAT32 to NTFS and put it in phone then phone ask for formatting, maybe there is otherway for formatting but i know only this one) I am on the third day of testing and so far i have all files Other symptoms of this problem can be lags in video recording (strange randomly big lags about 1s long visible on the recording) or slightly longer shutter speed in photo mode.
Conclusion:
I think the culprit is allocation unit size.
Btw. Ofc i copy my files from card to harddrive befour and after formatting i just paste it back.
Yeah i copied all files to computer, formatted it and placed them all back
on the newly formatted SD card
Thing thats annoying is that iv lost about 70 pictures. with no way off gettting it back.
The Arcs starting to p*ss me off with other little problems like the back button is stuck in, and does not push,
