I made a few animated photo's last week and they were great saved right to my gallery, no problems...however today I've tried making several without luck. It's like they are not saving to my sd card. I changed the location of where my pictures save as well...still not working.
Any suggestions or am I just being stupid? I can take the photo, trim it and such all options are there and working then I click save and it acts like it's saving only it doesn't show up in my gallery....

You are sure that you have problem Mate ? No you dont! Just click on an album, then Menu, set as favorite and this one will be the one shown in Sense UI It is always just the album set as your favorite which will be shown in Sense (not all Photos at once).
EDIT: Damn too late. I should click refresh before i write a reply in a 30-minute-opened-browser-tab next time
Excellent, thank you guys!
hi,
I set my sense ui pics to pics taken from camera folder (Media100) in storage card as favourite.. but occassionally it changed back to album from device..
and now everytime i press "play" after taking picture, it will go to that device albums..
any idea?
can anyone tell me why my photo gallery is doing this in grid view? ive tried to reboot and ive tried to go to the applications menu and clear the cache and still no luck. any suggestions?
Could be your sd card burning out.
ya but it works fine when i select one of the pics or if i switch to filmstrip view
There is also a separate folder for thumbnails. Something might be going on there, id delete them all so the phone would redo them.
I've changed it about ten times but to me it always seems blurry. The stock photos looks pretty awful as well. Is that the way it's suppose to look?
Varies
It depends. It seems to have more to do with the image size than anything. I have both a Mac and a Windows box, and when I was trying syncing mine with the Mac for a while I checked the option to resize photos for the phone and all my hub tiles were really bad after that, when I sync from Windows and Zune with (presumably) larger pictures, I get the problem significantly less, though still the occasional pic it doesn't seem to like.
I'm talking about the main pictures double tile that you pin to the start screen. Not sure if your referring to the same thing. The individual pictures looks brilliant.
The panorama background in the picture hub looks awful as well but i don't really care too much about that one. My main issue is the picture tile on the start screen.
will wp7 ever be able to take screen shot
Have you tried choosing your own picture for the background?
In Pictures, touch and hold the panorama title. A menu should pop up allowing you to choose a new picture or have it choose one for you.
The panorama takes an image of at least 1426x800. Those seem to be the dimensions suggested to developers.

If you don't like the double size Picture Tile, you can make a picture a favorite and then create a shortcut to it. This will be a single tile, and it takes you to the pictures menu where you can still scroll through all your pictures. That's how I have mine set up.
Thanks for the suggestions Tempest790. I tried the pin to start favorite option but its still blurry. Its nothing like the Zune tile which is crystal clear and very sharp. I'm beginning to think that's the way its suppose to look. I think my only hope now is to find another owner of a wp7 phone and ask to look at their pictures tile which in itself will be a monumental task considering I live in New York and all I ever see here are iPhones and androids.

Hi,
I have some photos on my phone that were not taken with my S5 and am finding that when I go to view them with the Gallery app that it is adjusting the color (and not in a good way). The app will momentarily show the proper color when opening the pic and closing it but will kind of whiten it when viewing. The pics look normal using quickpic and the google photos app. Just wondering if anyone else has this happening and if there is any way of turning it off before I try clearing the data for the Gallery app etc.
Thanks!

Hello,
It's not actually modifying the photo, it is using a Samsung technology to change the colors being displayed on the screen only. You can change your preference (but it appears not shut it off) by going into your Settings, then Display, then 'Screen mode'. But again, your photos aren't modified.

Thanks for your help. I did realize that it wasn't actually modifying the photos, I just really didn't like how it made the pictures look. You were totally right with your solution, I changed the display mode to Standard and it works properly now. I was using Adapt Display because I wanted the best sunlight legibility/brightness possible and everything had looked great until I noticed this issue. Thanks!

Hey guys, so I use quickpic for normal picture viewing, but the sharpening tricks combined with the amazing bottom scroll gallery selection makes it ideal to go through huge pic wallpaper packs and easily select dozens at a time as I scroll through..
what I do NOT like is how freggin hard it is to get it to refresh..
ive cleared cache, data, made sure there were no .nomedia files, forced close the gallery and restated multiple times...
Ive always had this issue, and want to know if anyone else had figured out a solution..
anyone have any advice?
