Android Device Manager now working, please read this (STAMINA problems)

Yesterday the device manager got installed into my SP. How? I don't know..It's Google's magic. The website is now working but with just a few features, It's not fully functional but at least you can see where your device is and make it ring.
The website is www.google.com/android/devicemanager
To keep it working you MUST enable GPS and Location Reporting, but I had to manually activate the device manager as a device administrator so check in the security menu if it is enabled.
There's a problem with Sony's STAMINA mode: If Google Play Services is not selected in the Always On list DEVICE MANAGER WILL NOT WORK

Now I can have MyXperia, Android Device Manager AND Vodafone Protect to GPS track my device
Go to settings > security > device administrators to allow the manager to lock your device though! I have now learned to read the whole post before posting

I have it on my phone as well, only it doesn't show up on the ADM. My tablet does on the other hand, as does my old ray... Don't know how this is possible. maybe not fully operational.

I have a Sprint Samsung S5 that will soon be rooted, but I'm holding out until a free WiFi hotspot app shows up. I've searched for it here without any luck. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

but it should be a basis functionnality of the S5 (and thus from S2). I got it :
parameters > wifi access point and modem (in network connexion menu) [maybe under another name, as I'm translating from french] > enable "mobile access point".
To quickly enable this you can use the icon in the status bar and choose "wifi hotspot" :

[How-To]Access Data Usage

Hello guys !
In this tutorial I will teach you guys to access stock data usage without root.
Data usage is present by default in android phones but for some reason it is hidden.
So,here is the method.
1. Download the app "HiddenApp Launcher".
2. Look for Data Usage in the list and long press it.
3. It will create a shortcut of Data Usage.
4. DONE.

We aren't talking about the same thing. I'm talking about stock data manager which is usually present in settings>more>data usage.
And obvio it isn't hidden in Samsung phones. ?

I have KlW-L21. Well after doing a bit of search i have come to know that in my VARIANT of phone THAT option is missing in traffic management app. Like seriously. ?

hello, i have a problem, i have an ouya console, i needed to restore it, but this message is appearing '' can't establish a connection with the ouya servers '' and don't leave that message!
My internet is ok.

Options:
Install LineageOS for a generic Android/Kodi device. Look for "Ouya Anywhere" or "Ouya Everywhere" to play games (maybe).
Or connect via ADB and point that props file to a DIY ouya server (also you can change your DNS settings briefly)

AOSP5 - slow and buggy.
AOSP7 (Nougat) - I couldn't successfully replace LineageOS with it.
Ubuntu12.04 - working, but buggy.
Ubuntu20.04 - you need to recompile the kernel yourself...
