Hello everyone....Galaxy S4 is now almost available everywhere and most of you have must have pre-odered and received your new S4 by now!
I wanted to know...which colour did you get or which colour will you prefer and why
Black Mist or White Frost?!?

Go for black, it's more professional

Definitely it is more professional and classy! And S4 with the silver metallic (looking plastic) lining all around the sides looks more beautiful in black and vice versa.
I went with Black Mist. I had the option for Blue or White. After looking at the Blue and seeing how ugly it was I decided to just keep going with my Black phones. My wife likes having white phones but I don't.
Guys, I posted in a different thread (that got closed prematurely) that I had prominent dark lines running down my new ATT GN3. The lines are very noticeable in light backgrounds. I took it back to Best Buy for return, and both the Best Buy Mobile and Samsung reps agreed with me on the lines. The Samsung rep also ran a *#0*# to access the LCD test hidden menu. You can do red, green or any the color options. My phone had these ugly black lines on those color testing screens. My new GN3 has a clean and beautiful display.
So make sure you use the hidden menu to test the LCD before you pass your return period because the screen defect may be subtle.
ty for this, now i know that with my phone all okay!! ^^
I've been considering the HTC One M8 for my next purchase and I was targeting the Gunmetal grey version (it really looks awesome), BUT from what I've been reading, besides being a little slippery in the hand, it is very scratch prone. (some remote topics here on XDA, some remote topics in android central's forum, etc.)
Seeing on how a lot of us wouldn't want to hide such a great phone behind a cover, let's talk here about how easy or hard it is to scratch the phone and how it looks after some wear-and-tear and, maybe, how it all depends on the color of the phone ...
Last year, the silver M7 stood really well in this department, with scratches being less easier to spot than the colored versions. How is it now on the M8 Gunmetal grey or Gold compared to the Silver model?
Anybody got scratches? How easily did the phone scratch?
Maybe some of the users could contribute with pictures and stories, eventually giving info for those of us who are still undecided on which color to get :good: ...

As per the Title
Our country only offers the S6 and S6 Edge in Black and White.
I'll be picking mine up tomorrow
Which colour would be better and why?
Thanks:good:
From what I saw in reviews and comments, white is less prone to fingerprints and smudges, or at least that you can't see them as much
Black because I think it looks more "professional" and I think it looks better in the dark, as you will see all screen and no bezel.
You don't really need to start a new poll for this.

Guys I'm looking to buy the Style, and on the customisation page I'm choosing the 'accent.' I want the one that most closely matches the silver rim of the edge (and top back) of the phone. It's hard to tell from the computer generated illustrations whether it's the 'metallic silver' option or the 'metallic dark grey.'
Can someone in the know confirm?
ps. I fully understand this may be the lamest question asked in xda forum history but I want it to be perfect
Metallic silver will more closely match the trim from the white front. Dark grey is dark.
