Note 2 Camera Apps - Galaxy Note II General

Hey Guys,
I thought it would be nice to add what I think are the current best camera apps for our phones :
Pudding Camera : Like hipstamatic, but the full screen uses the filter that is applied, and this is done in realtime
360 panorama : Does the job nice and easy
Pro HDR camera : Not as good as the Iphone version, but still takes good HDR pics
These ones I use daily apart from 360.
Others that are great, are :
PS touch ( for tweaking pics)
Pixlr (lovely filters) there as so many filter apps, but after a awhile they all start looking the same and I just use one now!
Photofunia (classic images to add your face to and the pictures look pro)
I'm still looking for an 8mm style video app, that actually looks good. Had 8mm and others and Iphone and still miss em
Any thoughts or additions to these apps would be great!

Any good camera apps?

One of my biggest gripes with this phone is that they gave it this great camera but with no image stabilization. Has anyone come across any good camera apps? Preferably something that allows you to take a picture via the touch screen (like you can in 2.1 but not 2.2) or provides some image stabilization. I tried camera 360, which seems decent, but FC's a lot.
PS. I tried a thread search to see if this topic is around but due to the numerous threads on camera related issues pre-2.2 OTA leak, they're hard to find.
Thanks in advance for any help.
If you place your finger on the screen and hold it there, it will take the picture.
To be more precise it'll focus where you put the finger and take a picture.
The best camera app I've tried is Vignette. The "normal" processing for the app makes much better pictures than the default camera, and it's got some excellent effects as well. It also has a "steady shot" option where it waits until the camera is still before taking the shot. The demo is low-res but you can use it to see the basic results you'll get. The full version was worth it for me.
Tried a few apps and I do like some features of Vignette but will say the stock camera app does the best in my opinion with settings at (8mp fine bright -1 contrast +1) can hold on screen and it will auto focus then snap pic
here are some untouched samples of mine of just misc things the other day

Camera alternatives

I like CM7 and the options it gives you but I really like the image editing features of the Sense camera. I understand that the HTC camera isn't compatible with any other UI but is there another good camera like the Sense cam that has a depth of field filter specifically? I've tried the apps in the market and none of them are really anywhere near as intuitive and easy to use as the Sense cam.
Thanks for any suggestions!
I don't know about depth of field filter, but I'll make a list of the camera apps I use and like:

Ok, cool. Will try some of these.
This new app has ALL the photo editing I need. It's perfect!

Alternative Camera Apps

Hi,
I noticed that stock camera app is slow while taking pictures so I was wondering if there are some 3rd party apps that takes photos faster.
If possible,I'd like futher features in the apps :
-zero shutter delay / zero shutter lag
-infinite focus
-macro
-hdr
-panorama (well made)
-burst (infinite or 15+ pics)
-basic filter
-maybe other ?
Please share the name of your downloaded camera apps.
SAMSUNG Galaxy Note 3 neo
Try the lenovo app . It may not be snappy like Google camera but has a good number of features
Here's my camera apps list :
-Snap Camera TRIAL (for fast pics, burst mode, and continuous focus)
-A Better Camera FREE (for HDR,best shot and pre-shot)
-Google Camera (for 360 photos and panorama)
-Camera MX (For Some Filters)
-Camera 360 (For Some Filters)
Apps are in order to picture-taking speed but sometimes photos are not fine in terms of resolution so if you are using other fast camera apps, please tell me.
It doesn't matter if I have to change 2 or more apps for a 360° usage.
camera
try google camera . as its giving good results
Thank you i should try this one. My camera is slow and always stuck. Sometimes i need to restart my phone to work again

Panorama mode in Essential camera app

Hi, I have my PH-1 for a couple of days now and I like the pure Android and as well the camera app. There is however one single function that I miss - and that is a panorama mode for photos. I do have the 360° camera, but this is something different ... I use the panorama mode very often to have a "wide angle" photo, especially for landscape photography. Especially with the zoom factor of the PH-1 camera this would make sense. Manually putting photos together is much work.
Am I wrong or is this function not implemented so far?
Cheers,
Eriol
It's not there. I've come to rely on taking a series of individual pictures in sequence and letting Google Photos string them together through its magic. Actually does a really nice job and manages to block out some things that panoramic modes don't, like people moving through the picture. It is a limitation, though, that I hope will arrive with another update, however there are still some overall quality issues I hope they sort out first.

[10]RadicalQuack issue : 4:3 stretched Camera in 3rd party apps

Hello,
I have seen this issue pop up on a few phones and different ROMs, but recently I installed this new ROM on my Samsung J730f, and for once a custom ROM for that phone was actually stable and fully functioning ( [10]RadicalQuack ).
However, the only issue I came across is something I never had on any other ROM, is that some 3rd party apps (WhatsApp, Snapchat) use the camera in 4:3 and stretch it to full screen which looks absolutely horrible. If i take a photo, the preview looks 4:3 stretched but the actual picture looks normal, but when I film a video it just looks the same as the preview. Some apps like instagram function properly, the cam is in 9:16, and ofc the normal Samsung camera app functions as intended as well.
I tried describing the issue as best as I could in hope someone has an idea on how I can fix this.
Thanks for reading.
