Can Anyone port the beats audio files from htc devices .but only to be effected on the 3.5 mm jack (headphone). because the effect on the internal speaker is very bad . the headphone effect is pretty loud and cool

Iv'e tried it its not the same bro it has a good quality but the sound volume is the same as stock
In combination with a Rom with kernel that supports Fauxsound (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teamkang.fauxsound&hl=nl) it's perfect. Volume is really loud and of perfect quality.

yeah bro i actually downloaded fauxsound pro but my phone is c5303 running on 4.1.2 .254 stock and its not supported and the phone is LB and it cannot be unlocked (bad luck for me) any other ideas??
The following link might help you to increase the volume: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...a-volume-boost-increase-t2302748/post42014040
However, it won't give you beats audio quality.

Megabassbeats on xps
I prefer the megabassbeats sound (its a mix of different sound"machines", including beats audio files). I got it working on stock (rooted) rom, android 4.3 with dsp manager.
Here is what I did:
Download mbb4.3.zip http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-nexus/themes-apps/mod-megabassbeats-v4-t1873121
With een clean flash, i got into bootloop. So I deleted AudioEffectService.apk in the zip file (using 7zipper), so the original apk stayes intact. The next thing was a conflict between the stock equalizer en dspmanager. So I renamed the SoundEnhancement.apk into SoundEnhancement.apk.bak in the system\app map, now the stock equalizer won't install at startup. And voila, everything works nice and smooth.

Do I have init.d support?
Well, here is a way to test:
1. Download the file from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1612958
2. Extract the file, you will get a file named 00test. DO
NOT flash!
3. Paste it into /etc/init.d. If there is no init.d folder,
most probably you DO NOT have init.d support.
However, if you still wanna try, just create the folder
named "init.d"
4. Change the permissions of the init.d folder and
00test into rwxrwxrwx.
5. Reboot.
6. If you see a file named Test.log in /data, you have
init.d support. If not, you will have to run Uni-init,
Term-init or Zip-init.

And yes even if you have asked dev for permission, he will be always wanting that his mod to be shared.
So if you share other's work, you must always give link to their op and credits

Disclaimer: First of all, I do not own any of these files.
[For CM13]:
With effect of build from Aug 2016 onwards, Audio FX will NOT be replaced by any third-party equalizer.
The ONLY solution is to first remove Audio FX by using Root Uninstaller then flash DSP Manager.
DSP Manager is an Equalizer that was once as default equalizer since CM7 and it performs almost identical to beats audio. (Best features: Dynamic Compression & Bass Boost)
Since CyanogenMod has stopped / abandoned work for DSP Manager on CM12 onwards,
I have a solution and had 2 zip files tested and FULLY working on CM12.1 & CM13 (should be also fully compatible with any versions of AOSP, modded, stock Lollipop and future Roms)
I have attached 2 zips (eng.stk's modded zip + patch) that will be needed in order to get the sound enhancement working.
Instructions:
1. Flash the modded v5.0.8 zip
2. Flash the patch(DSP.zip)
If it does not work after performing 2 flashes as mentioned, try flashing v5.0.8 zip on top again after flashing the original DSP zip.
(No wipes required)
Big shout out to CyanogenMod Team and @eng.stk
HTML:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=3873953
for all the works and all credits to them.
Be sure to check out @eng.stk other modded equalizer works.

DSP Manager might NOT work on all music players.

Enjoy!

great so i will upgrade my phone to lollipop 5.1.1
This is awesome buddy! I was beating my head against the table for hours trying to figure out why Android 5.1.1 would not have a good equalizer or the prior ability to override the built in craptastic MusicFX. So after googling and reading a ton of workarounds for Lollipop, I found this thread. And using CM in the past, I really like DSP as is does all the things needed (equalizer for headphones, speakers, bluetooth). SO I did as you instructed, flashed the two files in order you mentioned (mod then original) and viola it works. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
I love it to loud lol

This would be great if I can just get a custom recovery on my GS4. I have zero success so far. I have OF1 5.01. It is rooted and only the stock recovery works. Anytime I try to install a custom recovery it fails. My bootloader shows the Samsung logo with an open lock indicating it is unlocked too. So I am completely confused on how to get TWRP or CWM on here. I need an EQ badly. This suck!!
Just to let you guys know that this methods works for CM13 / android M aosp roms too
Cheers
Works great on CM 13.0 (Android 6.0) !
Works with Poweramp on Galaxy S4 I9505 (runing CM12.1) , but it makes the sound stutter in voice calls.
Is it supposed to work on Galaxy S4 at all ? Any idea on how to fix stuttering issue in voice calls ?
Thanks for maintaining this mod.

try a wipe cache + factory reset then flash my files.
If still persists, I suggest you update to CM13
Thanks for the suggestion @finallau.
I tried flashing your files over a clean install (wiped system + cache + data, and reinstalled CM12.1 before flashing the files).
Result is the same: music playback works in poweramp with dsp manager effects enabled, but sound is broken during a voice call.
Too bad it does not work, will rely on Viper4Android from now on.
Working great on SGS2 GT-I9100 with CM13 Nightly.

How do i flash it on a droid turbo
Being that they have a thread like this for the M8, but the M7 & M8 have different audio files, I figured I'd start a thread here for users to list all known compatible Audio MODs for the HTC One m7...
The point of this thread is mainly for audiophiles, as well as general user info and discussion regarding all Audio related mods, apps, EQ's, and everything of the sort.
I will be adding more & more info as time goes on. As well as flashing and giving results on many , many different mods, apps, etc. Please feel free to add your 2¢.

Some more screenshots, mainly of EQ Apps, such as
1.)Xtended Settings: Xtended Sound Enhancer (Xtended Settings, for those who don't know, is a VERY extensive Xposed Module that is for HTC Sense 6 & 7, and I think Sense 5 as well. It isn't available on the Xposed repo, ONLY on Play Store. It contains HUNDREDS of different Mods, Tweaks , settings and other options for HTC Roms-INCLUDING A System wide Custom Equalizer, Presets, etc. Known As Xtended Sound Enhancer.
2.)"Beats Audio" -This app isn't available on Google Play Store, I found it on an app market (that I THINK XDA kinda frowns upon considering u can also get some paid apps for free on it, ALTHOUGH THIS APP ISNT LISTED AS A PAID APP, ITS FREE. The market starts with the letters APTO...)Anyways, it's actually a REALLY decent little app, It comes with a Beats Audio EQ TUNER including Adjustable EQ, Effects, Presets, as well as the option to save your own custom presets.... On top of all the audio options, it also has around 8-10 static Beats wallpapers, and 1 Beats Audio Live Wallpaper.
3.) The Audio Effects that comes on the Motorola Moto-X ... I found 3 different versions of it so far, the earliest version of the 3 installed as a normal user app just by installing the apk. The 2 more recent versions however didn't install normally that way, or as an update to the version I did install. However, there's nothing too complicated to the newer apk's I'm pretty sure they'll work fine by just pushing to either system /app or /priv app...

What phone r u on ? An m7 right?? If so, and u lost all sound, try NuSense7 with Just Ice Cave , no ExtremeBeats(Even the Dev of Extreme Beats has stated that It's always kinda been hit or miss on HTC Sense roms) .. Ice Cave was made specifically for the M7, by the creator of Sense 6 Toolbox. Make sure you use Ice Cave version 10.2 , as it's the only version confirmed compatible on Sense 7. And u have Xposed Framework, right?Ice Control (control panel for Ice Cave) is an Xposed Module. The way I always install is: Flash Ice Cave , wipe cache/dalvik, boot up, **It may take a few mins to install everything, once the OS boots up, a script runs that installs the actual apps like Walkman , videos, motiongraph, etc. So if they don't immediately show up in app drawer, just give it a few mins. Then, open Xposed Installer, check to make sure Ice Control Module has been installed, and tick the checkbox next to module to activate it, then reboot once more. Now everything should be good to go.

Awesome! THX!!
So, I've been working on this for a long time. And for the record, this is on my Verizon M7 (not M8, Not M9) On NuSense7 rom. I don't have this 100% working yet, still quite a few bugs. I can't even say I plan to release this as a MOD because in order to achieve this on my M7 I had to mix and match MANY files and resources I pulled from many different roms, mods, etc. This is more-so to show the results of a looooong time of experimenting.
....
Firstly, sorry if this is against the rules, I have included credit wherever applicable and am open to any and all improvements.

Literally just solved this problem myself, you just need to give V4A-MK storage permissions in Settings>Apps>V4A-MK and the IRS files will show up fine. Adding to OP.
Thanks man haven't messed with V4A on the newer phones till now

I use Jabra Bluetooth Step headphones. I **ALWAYS** used Viperaudio 4.8
Viperatmos 4.8
Dolby atmos
Am3Dzirene 6.0- using it now, very nice.
Project ARISE, EXODUS, etc.. Great group of peeps. Not sure if still compatible with our device.
V4A-MK Mod-works great but use correct version #

Okay, all of this is so complex I dont even know what to say
Would be great to have the best sound available. Is there maybe a custom ROM for HTC 10 with integrated Viper4Android sound mod ?
I know to unlock bootloader, root, flash rom etc.

just try flashing the metaspook V4A-MK zip
Anyone here uses external USB DAC with their V4A?
I haven't tried a USB dad but I want to. On that note the hdmi output works perfectly. All our TV's have built in days and also sounbars and recievers. Why there is no stand alone dads that I can find with hdmi input I am really not sure. Dies hdmi have better audio than USB I do not know either but sounds damn fine to me. If you just want to had a separate headphone dac/amp then I think any with an xmos processor will work. Also the soundblaster E5 sounds pretty good and should connect.

were you getting force closes, freezes etc? i think it is either due to busybox or init.d support, the v4amk thread has links to flashable zips for both and after flashing them both it stopped those problems, not sure exactly what it was though.

Yeah it would freeze. I also might have had a bad from at the time. Its been a feature packed week.
Got BusyBox installed from Google play now.
Crucial step for sure.
Cheers
V4A works great when using Play Music, but I'm having trouble getting it to run on any other music app, even youtube and my web browser. I even have it set on FX Compatible Mode.

Im going to try to flash this. Im on the latest Leedroid ROM. is the zip all i need to flash as on his thread it says to flash a Kernel.init zip aswell. Also if something goes wrong do i just dirty flash ROM to get rid of it?
Edit: so i just tryed to install the mk mod zip and it worked fine but after installing the drivers and rebooting the app just freezes and so does phone. I tryed witht he init.d zip aswell and still the same. How do i get this working? Im on leedroid R155 which has the updated busybox.
Edit 2: set selinux to permissive and all works now.
