so it seems to me the forums have become bombarded with threads asking various questions.
couple things regarding the 4.1 &4.2 boot loaders..
as i understand 4.1 bootloader. you can run cm10.1 stock 4.1 as well as various aosp roms.
with 4.2 boot loader you can only run 4.2 based asus roms as it is currently. after first of course very carefully READING ALL directions. but no o.c kernel . recovery issues. not being able to use 64gb class 10 cards.
so as i see it whats so big about updating? i mean its 4.2.1 android. ya cool its official for our devices. but so is cm10.1. also cm0.1 has a o.c kernel with the help of perf. plus its 4.2.2 and i can use my 64gb class 10. so really whats the deal.
think of this a a discussion thread. enlighten me.

Frankly speaking I don't see any benefits of going to 4.2 Bootloader. Stay with 4.1 Bootloader and njoy 4.2.2 Roms

Definitly YES
Why the hell do you want to have a 2.3 ROM on a device which has alot more features inclueded in 4.2 :silly:
screw it lets put cupcake on it.
I remember reading a thread where someone was claiming a galaxy nexus with gingerbread on it would be faster. what a tool:laugh:
You realize gingerbread is significantly slower than jellybean, right? Why in the world would you want such an old version of android?

I have looked at the Threads on jelly bean leaked OTA
[ROM] Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Stock P5113 Jelly Bean (OTA Leak)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1881218
BUT Yesterday I bought a brand new Tab 2 and it came with Jelly Bean Stock on it and its NOT P5113XARCLH1 build. The build that is on my tab 2 is P5113UECLK7. I provided Pictures of the ScreenShot that I took. I also check for Official in the status section and IT IS
I just want to get Jelly bean on my other Tab 2 its for my kids and i want them to have the same builds going the CLH3 build is for 3g models i believe due to the phone app FC and it has baseband version in the about device section.

And best of all: the N7 2013 will be supported right from the start.
I will try it and follow this project as soon as possible.
yea, but I can't find the DL....is strange, cause some people is already building it for unofficial devices, and we (official supported) don't have any official build!

Hi people.
I think we could use this thread to talk about new Omni nightlies. Now the (in fact OT) discussion is carried out in two threads at the same time (under the DevSwift1 build and under dre1178 build), neither of which is official.
So i suggest that we discuss the OFFICIAL nightlies build here to avoid fragmentation and OT in Development threads.
I am using the official nightlies and for now (nightly 05.12):
no multiwindow feature
glitch in the notification drawer (the top being cut) is finally solved
in previous builds, i sometimes had difficulties in connection to wifi once in a while, we'll see if it's still there
Cheers
[Q] My AT&T S4 was recently force-updated to i337ucufnj4; how do I flash to CM 11?
I have a Samsung ATT I337 that is about 1.5 years old. and my goal is to erase the original ROM and replace it with CyanogenMod 11.
Here is what I currently have:

I started following this CyanogenMod 11 installation guide , but I came across this warning at the very beginning:
I read through this Odin to stock guide, but due to that warning, I'm concerned that I might irreversibly brick my phone.
Does anyone have any advice on how I should proceed to accomplish my goal?
Thanks in advance.

It's not going to happen. You can not put cm on your device. You're stuck with safestrap as the only custom recovery you can have and touch wiz based roms.

I really have a very bad lag while playing FIFA 15:UT and some lag while playing COC on
my phone grand 2 kitkat 4.4.2 official rom .
Is there any solution to fix this issue ???
Problem solved by downgrading to jelly bean 4.3
using the official rom G7102XXUANG4 (4.3)
the games performance becomes much better and smoother.
I advice everyone has the issue of fps drops in their grand 2 phones to do the same :fingers-crossed:
NOTE: G7102XXUANG4 (4.3) is the only rom that can be used to downgrade don't Bother yourself by trying another jelly bean roms

in CyanogenMod 12.1 and Blisspop this FiFa 15 works buttery smooth
Use custom rom like gennext kitkate rom or turbo rom if you like stock rom
Or flash turbo kernal in stock rom
Other wise use blispop rom
flash turbo kernel by appov01
