Be more specific. We can't help you if we don't know what errors are.
what firmware you're using? coz V10K above cannot be rooted by LG Spectrum root method.
try this one; http://d-h.st/9QW
turn off your anti virus before extract n execute SOC.exe, because the exploit will be read as virus.
it's work for some firmwares, if it not work to you, you have to down grade your fw to v10k...

I had the same problem when I upgraded from 10K to 10Q, im using open UK. Hopefully soc 1.7 will work for you as if did for me. Anything newer like the latest 2.2.3 will not work. The problem with the guides/tutorials on google that show you how the root an e400 are dated. They were written when basebands we like 10C - 10I, my e400 came with 10E originally and I could use spectrum to root. It seems like soc 1.7 could be the future.. well until 11x comes out.

Hi all. I have an unrooted US transformer and im trying to downgrade to .9 so i can root.
However, when i try to do this it gives me an android guy with an exclamation point. Also when i reboot it says error code 2.
I know i have all the right files and im not using another country's file.
Plz help!

I am not sure which method/guide you are using but over the last few days an easier method has become available that may help you:
Nvflash unbricking released!. Even though the title mentions unbricking the instructions include installing all the rooting tools and a custom ROM.
If that is not what you need then you may want to follow this guide which includes instructions for downgrading:
[GUIDE] STOCK (8.2.3.9/8.2.3.13/8.4.4.5) to 3.1 (PRIME! v1.4) + Overclock!

please im not professional in android i need someone to tell me how to update my mobile lg l5 from ics 4.0.3 to 4.0.4 or jelly bean ..and when i update it by wifi it says to me i have the latest version installed ..anyone tell me how to do it manually instead of waiting for an official update ?

in the guide he is saying he isnt sure it will work for 4.0.3 versions and this is my version :S any way to upgrade to 4.0.4 ?
Okey these guides will work for you.
The first guide will update your base firmware to V20A_Rooted it will update your 4.0.3 to 4.1.2, and will get you a unlocked bootloader and cwm installed.
After you installed the V20A base firmware you go to the Second guide.
That guide will install Android 4.1.2 CLEAN and with no keyboard errors, its all working fine and i am using it to.

thank you too much but one last question if anything went wrong can i return my phone to the way before i updated it with this guide or there is no way to install again official firmware ?
If you want to keep your files you will need to copy them to your pc.
Use Titaniumbackup to update apps.
You can backup your contacts/music etc to your External sdcard.
And if there is something going wrong and you want to go back there are unbrick guides enough i will help you if anything will go wrong. But i did everything and its working very good.

Edit: List of all firmwares: http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=12 this list contains all versions, so if anything is going wrong with v20a its easy to go back to V10L ore V10A/V10B

I have been going through topics for days trying to understand how to root my L7 P705 but I've just been lost. I already know how to use the KDZ tool in updating my rom and I already updated to the v20d...even though the one I saw was for the P700. However, my phone lags a lot and is so slow and from my understanding of the topics i have read, rooting it can make it a lot faster.
Please can anyone run me through how to root my phone and what I need to do to make it faster (As a novice, I would appreciate easy-to-understand steps...lol). Would really appreciate it...Thanks a lot.

ok so i recently try rooting my p705 firmware v10f using bin4ry ver. 30. the bat. file ran perfectly, the phone did ask for reset. i pressed ok and it rebooted. then i downloaded root checker and it said my phone doesn't have root. now how can i root v10f?

I've got the same problem with my Optimus L1 II (E411g).... I tried with Framaroot, but the Gandalf exploit didn't work. And since it seems to be too darn new, I haven't found any information about alternative ways to root it

Whit this .ISO i can revive my p714? I think it is bricked on "emergency mode !!" power on, remove battery and plug on USB, all returns "emergency mode !!" I make updates whit Odin in Samsung Phones and everything OK, i try help my friend with LG and now I need help to not pay for the repair of the phone! Authorized LG in Brazil charge the value of a liver to fix it!
Please, what i have to do to revive the phone whit this yellow screen of death?

I've been looking for a way to root my phone and found petrescu's rooting guide. He said there it was tested on V10 A,C, I. My software is v10c-DEC-07-2012, however the process stucks at "Waiting..." sign in the window.
What am I doing wrong? Debugging is turned ON and LG software installed ;|

I'm not sure what Petrescu's guide is but I personally used the rooting method from this link and my L7 was rooted within less than 5 minutes!
Follow the link at the end of this website to unlock the bootloader then follow the link for installing CWM and you won't have any issue.
I haven't found a better guide than this so far...

The rooting method is the same, even files package is identical. While rooting, the shell is stuck at "Waiting..." or a little further at "Waiting for /data/local.prop..."

Apparently, rooting doesn't work because I have v10C local polish version and I need OPEN version of v10c. Can someone tell me how to flash this?
