I downloaded AB Seasons from the market on my fascinate and when it was installing it caused the market to force close. Now every time i try to open the market i immediately get a FC notification. I've rebooted my phone twice already and it's not helping. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks
BTW, I'm using blackhole 1.4.1 and jt's uv kernel and still on DI01.
ok. i think i might have fixed it. went to menu/applications/manage apps/market cleared cache then it also had an "uninstall updates" button which i did and that set up my market fresh like on a new phone. Then i opened the market and it actually opened. I had to accept the terms and conditions again like when i first got my phone and it seems to be working again. going to try to redownload AB Seasons and see what happens. Will update later.
Everything is working again. I don't know why this happened but i got it fixed. Very weird. Anyways if this happens to someone else, I hope this post helps.
Odd...I installed Chainfire using the PowerVR plugin, my browser opens to a white window, and automatically closes almost immediately. I clear the data on the browser, it opens the first time no problem. Second time I open it, it's back to the white window and crash.
I uninstalled Chainfire, now the browser works just fine. Reinstall, same problem pops back up.
Any ideas what I can do? I really hate to have install Chainfire and reboot every time I want to play Dead Space.
BTW, I did try switching the plugin in Chainfire to "none," didn't make a difference.
I'm surprised I'm the only one having this problem. Nobody else has come across this?
This happens to me also... I was wondering what the hell was crashing my browser...
Buddy Rush is a FREE game and can be found on the Android Market. It's one of my favorite games I play in facebook.
Really felt happy upon seeing that it's available in the market as well, but after I downloaded and installed it, it FCs on me. :'( Any ideas anyone?
Running CM7 Nightly 203 OC @ 1.2GHz
NVM, I found a solution. Unchecking Compatibility Mode in Spare Parts + Reboot did the trick.
Erm... somehow it find a way to force close on me again.
I was able to run the app just fine and let it download its extra 30 MB of data. After that, it prompted me to connect to facebook. After that, I waited for almost an hour eyeing the loading bar that doesnt seem to budge not one bit. I pressed the home button and relaunched the app, then it FCs. Hope I can fix this somehow. :'(
Will try Fix Permissions + Reboot next. I'll update you guys just in case you also like playing this game and have problems.
UPDATE:
THAT DID THE TRICK! AWESOME! (It lags a little bit, but it's almost unnoticeable...)
Hi guys,
I have been a Nexus 10 user since its release, my other android devices currently are a Nexus 4 and a i9305t, previously a Gnex and a Nexus S.
All my android devices are rooted and on a custom rom.
Primarily, the Nexus 10 has been difficult due to battery life and charging mostly. I have been using PA 3.0x for the past few months, and I decided to update to PA 3.6 with the latest Gapps yesterday, since then I have not been able to resolve my "Google Play Magazine has stopped" error.
I have at this point done a full factory reset, formatted the internal SD card, and now tried a different rom (Revolt 4.4) all of which have been unsuccessful at fixing the Google Play Magazine app..
I have googled for a solution with very little success. I am hoping that someone here can help me out.
cheers
Marcel
have you tried reinstalling (maybe redownloading) gapps. or uninstall play magazines and reinstall from the market?
good luck

Hi Sdmark,
I have attempted to uninstall GP Magazines app using titanium backup, and reinstalling via the playstore. I have also tried a factory reset with a different/older set of gapps with no success.
This issue has been resolved as of 45 mins ago. I have been talking to Google Play store support from Utah (I am from Melbourne, Australia)
after submitting my error logs, the issue seems to have resolved itself automatically.
I had done nothing on the tablet since talking to the support (about 3 hours ago) till 45 mins ago where I just decided to give it a go while sitting on the porcelain throne and no FC this time. So as far as I can tell, the fix was something on their end of things, at least thats what i suspect... the FC happens just as GP Magazines signs in.
*im an idiot, problem is still there in landscape.. didnt even think about the different viewing modes.. so the problem is only happening while landscape.
Thanks the assistance though, very much appreciated.
edit: Please dont close the thread, I have realized that Google Play Magazines does not have the problem when in portrait mode... the moment i go to landscape it crashes... is this a rom issue?
bump! still a problem, 99% instant FC when in landscape mode... (1% is when the magazine is opened from portrait, it sometimes doesnt FC when tilted to landscape.. the moment you leave the magazine and get back to the magazine selection menu in Landscape, it will FC)
pretty much the only reason i pick up this tablet over any other device lying around is for magazine reading
I have no idea. I actually use the magazines app too, and have had no problems with it. I'm using cleanrom.
I've had the same problem, does seem to work for a minute or 2 if I clear all data and reinstall the app ...but after collecting my account data it FC's again - this has been going on for months and Google Play support haven't been able to reproduce or fix the issue for me....really frustrating
Hi devs, I have a Fire HD 10 which has play store installed by me through a third party apk installer. After installing Google maps, it keeps crashing after opening it. It remains open and I can drag around it for like 3 seconds and then it crashes. I tried reinstalling and restarting my tablet but to no avail. I need help on this regard. Thanks in advance.

You can enable Show all ANRs in developer options to avoid crashes when app is not responding.
same issue. ANR just shows the pop-up that it crashes. Neither fixes the problem nor does it give a clue how to fix.

You can use an older version of Google Maps from APKMirror.
My Fire HD10 (2019) was also having a problem with Maps crashing. Today there was an update for Maps and it seems to be working just fine again. You may want to try the new version.
