Please tell me that can i directly flash this.
Normally we first install a recovery and then through recovery we flash rom.
Can i directly go to odin pda. select this rom and click ok (in download mode).
Please tell me. I want to go to stock rom

Dear Android Masters ,
I have a BIG problem as I did flash my Samsung Galaxy 120 L HD LTE device bought from Kore LGU+ that I try to use in my country Turkey Istanbul .
Until yesterday I was using my phone with limited sms mesaging , No caller id problem , video calling etc and I came across your isntructions for a custom rom called Teamleader rom .
I did flash by doing what has been said mot a mot . Result : I can not use my telephone and the version has been downgraded to 2.3.6 that I can not upgrade with Kies any more . Kies does not even recognize my phone device .
I wish to revert to the official samsung rom 4.0.3 or bigger which can be updated with the original official stock firmware .
Could you or another master in knowledge of android mobile give me an urgent hand pls ? My wife is pregnant and I need to use my mobile especially this week when we expect our newcomer next week by wednesday . I have to use my phone right now ....
In urgent expectation of your technical support to correct my device.Neither Samsung HQ or Third parties accept to give me support as they have no fond knowledge of this model which did not arrive in this region .

Hi Mimcan,
Download from the site the official rom
http://www.tinhte.vn/threads/1319005/.
2) put phone to download mode
power the phone off then press and hold VOL DOWN + HOME + PWR buttons simultaneously until the warning screen displays
(Hit volume up at that screen if necessary) this engages Download mode. "Odin mode" should be shown in red at the top
3) Open Odin on your PC ( - connect the phone to pc - Odin will show successful connection with a yellow block displaying the port number.
4)Click PDA browse the tar file (u may have to unzip the downloaded file first).
5) Reboot into recovery mode
power down the phone.
Press and hold VOLUME UP + VOLUME DOWN + POWER
Samsung name displays, release only the power button for a second, the press it again.. Hold it until recovery mode is engaged
Do a wipe factory data reset.
Reboot phone.

I've been using for SHV-E120L for 6 days and I have text messaging issues. 80 Characters(which is more like 40) and no caller ID. Ive seen a few ROMs that will fix this but I would like to know if this will work on ICS 4.0.4. I upgraded from 2.3.6, 2 days ago.

hi pirulilla. You can do two things
1) flash with Stock rom with tegerak kernel ics 4.04
2) flash with CM10/PA rom

Solution for soft-bricked N9005 after flashing Hong Kong's TGY firmware

I am posting this to help people who ran across the same problem I did the past 24 hours, which drove me crazy and it was quite difficult to find any info on it.
I bought my N9005 on eBay from a Hong Kong seller. I just updated it with Kies and noticed that sammobile.com has a newer MJ8 firmware, so I figured I'd just download it and flash it via Odin.
Kies shows my mobile as XME (Malaysia region), but I guessed it should work just fine, and boy was I wrong.
Moments after trying to flash it, it failed, but it did manage to flash the beginning of the firmware, which was the new MJ bootloader. That newer bootloader does not allow any other firmware with older bootloader be flashed on the phone. Not even Kies's emergency recovery was able to revive my phone which was stuck in emergency download mode.
When trying to flash I got all sorts of errors, such as:
invalid ext4 image
and
CHECK FAIL : fused : 2 , Binary : 1. (when trying to install the older XME Malaysian Firmware on top of the new bootloader)
To make a very long story short, after almost giving up and start waiting for a Malaysian firmware with the new bootloader to be released, I ran across the UK MJ6 BTU rom which does have the new bootloader too and decided to try flashing it. To my amazement - this worked and my phone is back to life! phewwwww!

my brick story in short is------ brought note 3 sm-n9005 from ebay from a Hong Kong based seller. pics of ap, cp and csc are attached. rooted with chainfire's and installed cwm6 by chenglu. A few days back, flashed bobcat rom version 2(mj7) and later 3( mk2 ) without problems. Was looking for different themes .yesterday flashed balckchrome from s4 forum that also went smooth. Unfortunatly flashed another theme for s4 which was not meant for andriod version 4.3. Pretty stupid .went into bootloop. Had nandroid backup tried to restore but couldn't.
Flashed another rom mk2 from cwm. again bootloop .took the odin route and flashed stock deodesk mj7 by Djembey from this thread.

Failed again. Then downloaded latest mk2 from sammobile website. The same error (invalid ext4 img) in short failed on all ccounts. Have run out of options. The last thing in mind is to wait for some new bootloader after mk2 which might rescue me as mentioned in this thread that new bootloaders might help... Any guidance will be appreciated. Thanks

Try this:
1) Get X-Note v6 custom rom.
2) Use Odin to install CWM recovery.
3) boot the phone into CWM recovery and copy the X-NOTE rom (MK2 based) to your phone or card.
4) Do a complete wipe/factory-reset from CWM
5) Install the X-NOTE rom from CWM
And let me know how it went

Why did you suggest X-Note but not another ROM?

3 reasons:
- It's MK2 based
- I am using it
- It's excellent
And besides, if the method I suggested works, he can always replace a ROM later on if he wishes.

Thanks for the suggestion. ..tried twice with both stock n Civato kernels.. didn't go beyond Samsung logo screen....With Civato there appears some error above the logo...pics i m attaching. .Thanks again.

Nope, I didnt mean what is the best rom to use.
The problem is that how to bypass the bootloop issue.

yes...I did that n installed X note rom from cwm. BUT I suspect that cwm is not fully functional. Why I m saying this is that I have a nandroid backup of bobcat mj7 rom...which cwm isn't able to detect even. ..nevertheless. .cwm is installed.

1) Which CWM version do you have installed?
2) Did you do a full wipe/factory-reset?
3) Did you try also advanced formatting (of system partition together with the full wipe) and then install the ROM?
4) Did you try all the above with the latest TWRP recovery instead of CWM?

Can anyone here at XDA make this firmware flashable in ODIN using splitfus2 for me? Because I asked this already on Doky's thread but unfortunately he and others aren't responding on his own thread for a long time. Although SGY is nowadays old I still want this always updated. Please I need your help and expertise for this. I will be very much thankful to you and I will have no any doubt to hit thanks button of yours..

all officials firmware from Samsung should be flash with ODIN,
just download the zip files, and extract it
use ODIN then place it the files

Just so you know all official samsung firmware from kies cannot be flashed via odin
This is because sgy does not support single file firmware flashing
This is why doky created a thread with firmwares already split into odin flashable parts
however due to other commitments he can't constantly split all new firmware so he posted the tool for you to split them yourself
I might do some after Xmas but for the now I don't time

Actually I haven't split firmware before but the instructions on dokys thread look simple to follow
I don't actually have a laptop at present but I should be buying a high powered one in new year - until then try it yourself

Well, not really. You can flash it without Full Wipe.
I do recommend a Full Wipe since it fixes a lot of bugs and it's better to start with a clean everytime.

i hope that this is stupid question .. but .. when i create folder in titanium backup on sd card , to store the backup apk , i can not see this folder in my computer when i use the stupid samsung access .. but i can see the folder with ES file explorer ..
what might be the problem ??

Well, check if the folder has got a dot in front of it like so : .TitaniumBackup . If it does, delete the point by renaming the folder and you will be able to see it. BTW, I use Wi-Fi File Explorer to transfer files from my phone to pc. It's faster and more stable.

No Network Signal after flashing

Im a new user of SGS4 i9505.
My set-up before flashing this ROM is this:
MIUI 4.11.3 (4.4.2)
Original CSC: BTU
Firmware's CSC: TGY
Active CSC: BTU/TGY
CSC Country: Hongkong
Bootloader: I9505XXUFNAD
Baseband: I9505ZHUFNB3
PDA Version: I9505ZHUFNB3
Build number: KOT49H.I9505ZHUFNB3
On aroma installer, I selected XTE (Philippines) as CSC.
After flashing the rom and rebooting, I didn't have any network signal and the menu on Settings is greyed out.
Does it have something to do with the CSC I selected? Sorry for the noob question but I cant seem to figure it out.

Good day to you too. You have to update your bootloader to latest one, I think it's NK4, and also flash the latest modem. I have a tutorial on YouTube on how to update the modem. It's called how to fix Galaxy s4 Wi-Fi on my channel down below in my signature.
Updating the bootloader will most likely wipe all your SD card and data, so make a backup first.
You can get the latest bootloader and modem by searching on Google, Galaxy S4 Modem and enter the first link and find the latest one of them out there with a simple thread search. Flashing bootloader has the same process in Odin as the modem, but instead of selecting the. Tar in Phone section you put it on BL or Bootloader, it depends on your Odin version.

[Q] Stock Firmware for Galaxy Tab 8.0 SM-T330NU

Hi, I would like to get the stock firmware for the SM-T330NU. The only issue is that opensource.samsung.com does not work and sammobile.com only has firmware for Cellular South and Canada but I have a US Model. Can anyone help me out, I am not sure what to do.

Ok, thanks for the help although I did do some research and the Cellular South is the Firmware for the device. I installed Kies and Kies says the device is XAR which is what the Cellular South one is. Thanks though.

okay no prob, if you perform a factory reset you should be back to "stock", or did you mod your rom?
my build number is - KOT49H-T330NUUEU1ANK1
if factory reset does do the trick, there a a few postings of the stock t330nu recovery in the forum
so you can flash to get back to stock. :good:
