Please advise any Custom ROM can use Keyboard DOCK.
Thank
I know that CleanROM and Paranoid Android version 2.54 will let you use it. I don't know if the PA v2.99 beta has it working yet or not. :good:
CM10.1 updated today to support it.

My Galaxy Tab 2 has been running PAC ROM for a long time now. I tried upgrading to a 4.3 nightly and it didn't work out so well. In fairness, its a nightly. So I reflashed the same 4.2.2 I was running before. Having issues still. So I went out and bought a new tab. Now I'm thinking I'd like to go back to a stock based ROM and put the ir blaster I was originally interested in using to work. But I don't really want to go completely stock on it.
So I've been doing some reading and it looks like Sungsonic is the way to go but I wasn't able to confirm ir support. Before I flashed my first custom ROM on this tab I gave peel a run and it worked great with all my equipment. Is Sungsonic the best stock based ROM and does it offer ir support?
Thanks in advance for your input.
P.S. of course I'm running PAC ROM on my new tab! Awesome ROM!
Sorry in advance I am sure this is a stupid question. But I am running the latest version of the PA rom, and everything I am seeing shows i should have a halo feature, and a themes center within settings to install custom PA themes. Neither of which I have? Am I missing something, or were those 2 features recently removed?
I may have just answered my own question through some additional research. LOoks like there are no PA custimization features while its still in beta. Is it still beta because it was recently updated for 4.4.2? Because this ROM has been available for quite some time now? thanks

hi,
im looking for an easy option to have stock ROM with PIE.
This is my first android device (coming from ios) and i tried different roms. First PA 3.99 then Mahdi rom (on which i am for now, the latest version with 4.2 kernel).
What i really love from modded roms is the PIE navigation. I really cant live with it anymore. Apart from that, i dont care which ROM i use all i want ist pure stability, performance and battery. That bugged me with PA and Mahdi sometimes i had reboots, gps not working and what bugged me most is how silent the speaker is for notifications.
I really appreciate the devs and one can see that great roms will be build, but fo now i want stability and battery.
I thought going back to stock and install PIE could be the best? i havent tried PA 4.3 yet since im on D802 and ive read for some people this rom breaks the screen.
Any advice what

If you don't mind being stock and rooted I would recommend LMT. I've never used it with straight stock but I've used it with several Rom's and really like it. Give it a try. Link below.

Hi, I'm planning on moving to an AOSP KitKat ROM, I haven't tried any KitKat ROMs before considering I got my phone with Lolipop. So if somebody could recommend the most stable KitKat ROM out of experience, that would be great. Thanks in advance.
I would recommend SlimKat 9. I put this rom on all of the devices I have. It never fails me. The developer team is great, they plan their SDLC very well. The functions/features included are sensible and helpful. Even their Alpha build is stable enough to be daily drive. You can find their post here:
SlimKat on XDA Forum

Hi guys
i've been googling and searching through xda for based-on-stock 4.2.2 and 4.3 kernels for the past couple of days, but the links are all down.. i don't want KK or LP because i don't like them, plus text reflow doesn't work in those anymore.. would someone please help in providing a link to stable JB kernels.. such as Adam kernel for example...
thank you
What version of Android is currently on the device?
I'm running omega v14.1 which is based on Android 4.2.2
but I also downloaded omega v17 which is based on 4.3
so having kernels for both would be nice
Ok, so you never upgraded the stock ROM from the originals? If the links are down you're going to have to hunt, as I know you don't want to download a stock ROM just to get the kernel.
Thing is.. I want to stay on jelly bean. I don't want the stock kernel. I wants a tweaked kernel based on the stock kernel with all the extra governors and features.. like Adam kernel by wanam. But the problem is these are a bit old and all the links are dead. Even wanam's site is down (no idea why).
So I really would appreciate it if someone who still has copies of these would share them here
thanks again
