ok... is there any way to change/customize incoming call screen?
I have the same problem which i noticed today (i have the phone for 3 days). I am not sure i had it from the begining so it might be from an app...
Even so, it is not normal.
I think mine is like that... But I'm running rootbox. But I think it was like that stock, and my old Atrix was like that on CM10
Mine is not rooted...
I've seen a lot of pictures on the internet whit this kind of incoming call but it doesn't seem right...why allowing a fullscreen picture if it's half blocked when receiving the call?!?

its probably a new feature designed by some bright young engineer at Google !
try one of those full screen caller id apps, if you don't mind running another service in the background.
this helped on my Moto G (4.3).

Nothing weird. That's normal on kitkat. If you want full pic, try purity rom. However I like the stock looks cause the icons are hard to see when there is full pic as background. That's just me though.

[Q] Phone behaviour after am incoming call ended / while playing music on headphones

Dear All,
I've been using android for a long time, also wrote few apps, nothing huge tho.
I recently swapped my beloved SGSII for Nexus 4 ... and one thing drives me nuts!
Its phone behaviour after incoming call ends. Why the hell Im being kicked back into phone activity, while it was not the place I've been before the call? Its irrational... And drives me crazy
Im doing something on my phone (lets say - gaming), and someone calls. I answer, we chat for a while. Call ends. Where am I redirected to?
THE DAMN PHONE DIALER! dafuq?....
Hah, but there is more (definitely some more of this, I'll go mad, and they will lock me up ,) ) - imagine what happens when you ride your bike, listen to music and then answer a call .)
Yes, you guessed right! Im being redirected back to phone activity WITH SCREEN UNLOCKED, even if it was locked and turned off before the call.
Thats what actually pushed me to write this topic - I called my coworker by mistake because of this today.
And here comes the big question:
Does anyone knows a ROM or modified phone.apk which would have this fixed/changed/worked around? I just want to get back to where I was before after a call ends....
Yep. AOKP ROM dialer has an option for that.

I'm on edge network right now so I can't up the apk... You can probably help yourself

Does every AOKP based rom has it? It looks like this might be just kind of ROM I'm looking for .)
Few more questions then:
1. Does it have option to show battery % in notification bar?
2. Option to show toggles (Wifi, bt, data,...) in notification bar? (like in cyanogen)

Yeah everything based on AOKP should have it.
1. Yes. In 3 different styles
2. Yes but the implementation differs a bit from cm. The 'tile' type of toggles become hidden once you've enabled the 'power toggles' in notification bar.
Try the latest milestone. It's epic.

I hate this "feature" too! Any ideas how to correct it on the stock 4.3 ROM? I'm rooted with custom recovery and franco kernel. Don't wanna flash a whole new rom just to fix this one issue though.
Maybe flashing the AOKP or CM10 dialer apk would dod the trick?

[Q] Notification panel: HD?

Hey all!
I just upgraded to 4.1.2. this morning (yay! OTA!) and notice there is a strange HD icon in my notification bar right next to the clock area. Any idea what it is? I've ben through all the settings and I have no idea what this mystery is...
Ideas welcome! Here's a screenshot.
Maybe it is notify that You can talk in HD voice.. T-Mobile have feature like HD voice..
Any idea how to get rid of it? Or turn it off?

But it's a good feature! Better audio quality during calls.
Thanks!

(Request) Quick acces to ongoing phone call on top of any screen, app, something like

I would like to see a mod or app whatever is possible to access ongoing phone call while being in any app, while browsing, home screen etc. without pulling down notification bar or going to dialer. I am looking for something like iphone or viber voip app has or even LG G2. It is like flashing quick access bar which stays on top of any screen no matter where user is. It would be very handy to switch phone call.
Thank You for any responses.. I am sorry for my english(not native)

[Q] Seriously WTF?? Note 4 can't display animated GIFs in stock gallery?

Doesn't work in QuickPic either?? Why is the most "advanced" phone on the market today incapable of doing something so simple? W.T.F.?! Anyone got any tips for being able to download animated gifs, have them show up animated in the gallery, and send them as an sms message to a friend? iPhone does this no problem...is this really impossible on Note 4?? Tell me I'm stupid and am doing it wrong...please.

Mine does display. And extremely fluid too compared to Galaxy S4
GIFs work on my phone as well
Why would gifs not be displaying on my T-mobile Note 4...all animated gifs in stock gallery and quickpic show up as grey box with questions mark? Frustrating...any suggestions??
No problem on my note 4, are you sure that the particular image isn't damaged?
