I have a problem in getting the wifi to work. Whenever I press the wifi button, it says Error. Please help!

i get this message (see pic) almost every time I wake my device up. It's kinda starting to annoy me :S. It says something about not able to connect, altough I can instantly start surfing the web without any problems
Someone must know how to fix this?!
This is the single most annoying thing about my HD2. I want the data connection on but I don't need it telling me when it can't connect especially when I am in the middle of trying to compose a text message or navigate somewhere using tomtom!

Thanks but the issue is not the connectivity or lack of it just the annoying notification. I don't want to be notified regardless of whether or not I can connect. Anyone know how to turn off the notification?
i want to get up and start using mobitv since i just got it..
i opened it the first time and it loaded good and asked me to update in order to continue so i did.
and now everytime i open it up i get a blank black screen, and sometimes a notification saying that i need a connection to get started. but i have my wifi and my data connections already connected so i dont see what the problem is.
anyone care to help? i tried searching but all it gave me was threads about asking where to download mobitv

yeah i already did countless times.. lol this is like the only app that isnt working for me for some reason.
umm.. i think you should take back to tmobile.. and tell them the application doesnt work, dont just stay quite talk to them they should solve the problem or they will give you a new one.
so i should take it back just cause mobitv isnt working? theres gotta be something else lol.
well i don't know about you..but ill want my hd2 without any problems i don't want to mess something up they'll do the job for me. but i don't know maybe somebody in here know what is going on with you hd2.

I had the same problem. Do a HARD reset, (see wiki). This should fix your problem.

Sorry, dual post.
Guys, i just joined here coz i bought artemis today, everything looks good, bluetooth works, but wifi doesnt, when i click to turn it on, that little icon for waiting appears and after a few seconds it just dissapears and wifi is still off. I was reading something here on the forum on how someone fixed the problem, but since im complete noob, i dont understand half of what he was saying. Can anyone plz just tell me what to do? If noone wants to type what to do, i can maybe add you in skype so you can explain to me what to do... plz plz plz

I had the same problem, juste turn on the wifi twice. first time it will enable and disable, second time it will stay enabled. (Based on my experience)
It's not a hard fix, but permit to use the wifi waiting for another solution.

When I check for update return me this message: "Network coverage is currently poor. Move to area whit better network.". Anyone can help me? The wifi signal is full and I have internet.

Theres nothing you or anybody can do every one eles is gettin the same message ive been getting it since yesterday its a problem at acers end nothing to do with the tabs or your router so dont go changing your router settings its ACER not the user there servers are overloaded is what ive read on hear thats why people are getting this error message its just a waiting game for now untill acer pull there finger out and sort it i wouldent hold my breath for them to sort it out anytime soon thow
so i know theres problems with wifi sometimes but i cant get it working at all. ive rebooted 6 times and reflashed once. and still the slider for wifi wont move. ive asked elsewhere and noone knows what to do,

I am also having the same problem. I first noticed it while I was on Atmosphere so I thought I might go ahead and load android to see if the problem followed me and it did. Im wondering if there is something wrong with the wireless chip or if there is even any way to communicate with it
