I have Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 with France 2012 December 4.1.2 P3100XXCLL2 P3100XEFCLK1 ROM installed from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2063902.
I am confused, because there is no Clock app in there, just only Alarm app (just only allow you to set alarm) and World Time app (map with timezone and your locations). There is no timer, stopwatch and sic! normal clock! Is it normall, or is something wrong with this ROM?

Is it me or is there no way to set a smart alarm on the SGS for a particular date?

It's only a "smart" alarm, not a "prodigy" or "genious" alarm.
I think you're stuck with setting alarms for a week ahead at most. Unless there's a way to make a calendar entry trigger a smart alarm in some way.
Thanks..... Just needed to make sure I was not missing something.
Shame though that Samsung did not add an ability to have a 'Smart Alarm' or normal Alarm from inside the Clock App with date selection.
Using the calendar to set an Alarm is nothing and I mean nothing compared to the dedicated Clock Alarm App.
I installed eclipse sense rom but the htc clock widget when using current location shows wrong time zone. Any fix for that?
Go to date and time and disable "use network-provided values" aka "Automatic" and set your own.
this doesn't change anything still the clock widget for current location gives wrong time zone
reset the widget?
or set your location manually .. from weather and date & time.
hi, I hope this is the right sub forum to post my issue.
The digital clock widget is set on my home screen. When changing the alarm time to a specific time the widget is correctly displaying the time when the alarm goes off. Although when I change the alarm time for a second time, the widget is not refreshing the time - not even after hours. If the widget is resized it refreshes.
Nexus 4, Stock 4.2.2. (rooted with current franco.kernel)

Delete it and readd the widget, if there was an update that can tend to break certain features/functions.
Thank you, but it doesn't fix the issue.
It happens to me too, when I set off an alarm or enable one, it doesn't refresh the widget. I have to delete the widget and then take it back.
I have the same issue on Galaxy Nexus, stock ROM, android 4.2.2, rooted with Nexus Root Toolkit

I was having this issue and resolved it on my phone by going into:
Security -> Owner Info
and checking Don't show owner info
hi all
last night I manually downloaded the i9505XXUFNB9 kitkat 4.4.2 update for my Samsung galaxy s4 i9505
but iv noticed that fancy widgets wont display the clock and weather widget on my home screen anymore,
it just shows the location and weather on the left hand side of the screen and
date, and temperature on the right of the screen
but both very faintly, anybody know why the actual widget itself will not display, I guss somebody is going to tell me that fancy widgets isn't compatable with kitkat 4.4.2 right?
Hello, I updated today and I had the same problem, I've solved clicking should be working wherever the time, then the settings window opens, select clock skins and select the default theme. Click on forecast skins and the same. You must choose standard skins.
Sorry for my bad English, my native language is Spanish.
Hi all, I'm on the at&t version of the note 4 and am on stock obviously because of the lack of root yet. On the note 4 every time I set an alarm it sets it up so it repeats weekly which gets annoying and also the timer app doesn't allow more than one timer at a time. I was on cyanogen mod on the galaxy s3 and it performed these tasks flawlessly. It feels like its dumbed down and all the clock/alarm/timer apps I looked up did not help much either(wanted access to all my data, pay to use more than one timer, alarm clock extreme ended up draining my battery more than anything else on my phone). Any suggestions anyone?
On a side note, I'm using nova launcher and because of that it doesn't allow calender widgets that shows your events its just a crappy calender with the date on it. Any suggestions for this either?
Thanks guys sorry If I come off mad. These have just been bugging me.
well get rid of nova launcher and use samsungs s-planner for timer, alarm and calendar.
