Hi guys. I bought my N7 2 weeks ago and I think it has screen lift on the left side. Please look at the photos and tell me if I should send it to warranty. And one more question.. screen lifting is happening in time or it had been there since you bought it?
p.s:screen is covered by a protector film

Try tightening the screws on the side with the lift that worked for me and it did not take weeks for them to do the same thing

Will they send me another tablet or add some glue to my tab?

If you want to do it fast try tightening those screws, it worked for me too. Or of course you can send it back. They certainly won't add any glue, I don't think so. They'll replace the tablet or the screen.
Next time please use the search function, there are hundreds of threads about the screen lift.

That's what I was talking about, the screen lift is the same for everyone. Some millimeters on the left side. This is the most common issue for our N7.
Anyway, I think you should tighten the screws. That's the simplest solution to the problem, because if you change it, there is chance for the replacement to have the same or maybe another issue.

My Mytouch4g slipped out of my pocket as I was getting in the car last night and landed on concrete. Although there is no physical damage to the exterior of the phone, the screen now looks like this. If anyone has had this happen to them, is it fixable and if so what part do I need to fix it.

Look up Iphonerepair and mytouch4g in google.
I would give you the link, but being a new member I'm not allowed yet =D
Looked around a little bit and they look like the cheapest place out there; some guys at work have also used them, so I don't think they're going to sit there and try to rip you off (IE try to not send back phone etc etc)
Sorry couldn't be more help.
you need a new LCD bro. Have fun fixing that, just look it up on google, I m sure that there are plenty of videos on it

It's actually not as hard as it seems. First step is to buy the replacement. The second is to follow the videos online.
I just replaced a cracked glass on mine (the LCD was ok though). The tough part for you will be removing the unbroken glass and then putting it back on. Be careful not to heat the glass up too much and break your touch screen connector.
Another quick secret is that you can use a credit card to pop open your phone instead of those safe opener things people sell.
Good luck!
If your LCD is fine then replacing digitizer isn't really that difficult. I followed a guide I found on youtube and did it in about 15 minutes. No need for a special pliers like the other member mentioned, but you do need some precision screw drivers of different sizes.
So this weekend I replaced the back cover of my Nexus 4 since it was broken, since replacing it i've noticed that my wifi signal has been extremely weak. I noticed that the replacement back cover did not have this black film/tape on it. Could this be whats effecting it or could it be something else?
Ok it was definitely the back glass replacement, I put the old cover back on and now my wifi issues are no longer. I guess its safe to assume the issue was the missing metallic on the inside of the new cover. Mods can close this if they would like.
Why close the thread? The info could be useful for other people. Are you able to take the required bits from the old cover to the new one or did you get a defective cover?

Your right I didn't think about that, i'm sorry. As far as the required bits, I don't think they can be removed and put on the other cover. I contacted the seller and told them i'd like to return due to the fact it was missing the bits. I've found another and will let everyone know how it works. Also in a little bit i'll post some pictures of what i'm talking about.
Ok so here's a picture of what i'm talking about, sorry about having to use ms paint but this is what i'm talking about. I've lableled the back covers accordingly

I dropped my phone and destroyed the screen a few weeks ago. Fortunately I was insured, they agreed to fix it and I got it back inside 10 days or so. Problem, the damn screen was loose at the top corner - you could fit a fingernail in easy. So, more than a bit annoyed I called them up and they apologised, said they'll pay for the postage and they'd sort it out.
Sent it back and they just returned it with the same damn problem! I can lift half the screen out of the case if I pry my fingernail under the (already loose) top edge - see attached photo. You can push it back in place, everything works fine but it works loose if worn in a pocket like normal.
Clearly their engineers are incompetent and I don't know if I can be bothered to return it AGAIN to find most likely the same problem repeated. Looking at the inside it seems that it's just a bad glue job - I can see sticky stuff that's meant to be holding it in place. :silly:
My question is - could I just reglue the screen in there? Does anyone know what kind of glue to use?
If it's covered by insurance get them to fix the problem at their expense as if you glue it yourself you would render insurance invalid if any other problem happened they wouldn't fix it as it would be voided because you glued it yourself
*Sigh* - yeah like I said - send it back a 3RD TIME? I really think they have trained chimps doing the repair work.

I got my note 4 day after launch and yesterday morning a bubble showed up under the glass on the left top corner of the screen At first I though it was the screen protector that had a bubble underneath but after taking the screen protector off it is actually under the glass. The bubble is about half inch long by 1/8th inch wide or so. I couldn't find any info on anyone else with this problem. I went to Tmobile and they sent a replacement phone out right away. Anyway just seeing if anyone else has had this problem. There is no damage to the glass or screen just a bubble under the glass. XDA wont let me post photos in my posts yet so once I'm over 10 posts i'll put some pictures of it up.
Looks like glue wasn't cured right. Were you able to "push" bubble out by pressing on screen or is more like cured glue separated from glass?
Sent from my SM-N910T using XDA Free mobile app
Pressing on it doesn't make the bubble go away or change shape in any way.
be good if some way we can see a picture.

There it finally allowed me to post photos.
yeah that's a strange one! Only thing I can think of is that it was there when you first bought it, but it was too small for you take notice until it got bigger!
Exchange!
This is the adhesive that fuses the LCD panel to the glass digitizer separating. Definitely a factory defect and definitely get it exchanged. This should not be happening.
Mine is separating in the same spot. Can only see it when the light it on it just right, hasn't gotten as bad as yours yet

Hello, everyone!
I recently purchased an XTRONS unit (PQ9046BL). And have lots of questions which I'll probably post about later if I can't find answers digging around on my own.
But to start with I am curious. If you look at the two attached images. There appears to be a screen protector on this from the factory. I tried picking at it a little and it's on there pretty good (as I expect a screen protector should). The issue is (again you can see), that the edges are collecting a lot of dust and debris. Especially after swiping down from the top to get to my notification tray. So I want to remove it. But... before I went and got our my heat gun and gave this a proper effort. I paused and started to wonder if this film was actually not a screen protector at all, and actually part of the digitizer. After looking up replacement digitizers on aliexpress, it doesn't appear to be a digitizer as the replacements for sell seem to be the whole front glass of the unit.
Anyway, anyone else have one of these that didn't have that film on it? Or did yours and you removed it?
Thanks for the help!

Hello, I know I am quite late to the party but did you possibly find out anything about your problem in the meantime? I am asking myself exactly the same question right now. Thanks for any help!

Yes, it was just a screen protector. I pulled it off.
Many thanks for your help!
I was wondering the same. Mine it's the same state as yours, and makes the screen hard to read from on bright sunlight. Might just give it go, I'm scared to peel mine off for the same reasons, lol.
