tytung r16, for example

Ah, I see, thanks!
But this is Gingerbread. Any chance for ICS or JB kernel?

Kernels

I am trying to find a kernel that will work with DubShot Espresso (not ported), my goal is to be able to use IncrediControl but when I try to boot up after flashing the IncrediKernel my phone won't go past the HTC Incredible Screen. Anyone know any way around this? or if this kernel will even work with this rom?

Is that a Sense ROM? If so, the latest Incredikernel's are for AOSP GB and AOSP Froyo ROM's. He has a Sense 2.2 kernel, but Incredicontrol won't work with it (I don't think so anyways...?).
You could try tiny's kernel, which is for Sense 2.3 ROM's, but I don't think he has the included items needed for Incredicontrol to work.

I'm using tiny's kernal for the sense rom. I believe you can use Incredicontrol to work audio boost and fast USB charge. However, tiny's kernel doesn't support voltage adjustments.

That is correct, it doesn't. I hope to be able to release it with that function sometime after the source drops though for the gingerbread kernel.

Thank you for the correction. I knew something worked, and something didn't.

you said not ported? if you meant the kernel then there is no such thing for gingerbread yet that is custom.

[Q] 4.3 OTG/USB Host Mode + (Fast) charging?

Is there a JB 4.3 based ROM/kernel combination that supports USB host mode while simultaneously fast charging at >500mA?
My head is spinning from trying to figure it out from reading all the ROM/kernel dev threads.
I tried M-kernel a61 but it's one or the other not both.

Not based on JB 4.3...And he has stated he will not do anymore development on it.
I am looking for this too, I am quite tempted to go back to 4.2.2 for this.

Which kernel for Cyanogenmod?

Hello, i've installed latest CM nightly and hellscore's kernel doesn't work anymore
Is there any good kernel still working?

Default kernel has 1ghz as minimum idle frequency, which is not acceptable to me

It does not stick in mine, how do you change it?
Quanta is Pretty good for cm.

Fast charging

Will changing the stock ROM to any custom ROM(say aicp or rr) affect the fast charging.
Are these roms optimised for the phone?
Charging will not be affected by custom roms in general. Keep in mind that Moto TurboPower is just qualcomm quickcharge 2.0 i guess.
It is a hardware component, it does not affect if you install a custom rom

The default output of any mobile charger will be at 5 volts but if the mobile is "asking" the charges to boost up the voltage or push more amps the fast charger has the capacity to do so.
So my query is will the "asking" capacity remain same if we change the stock ROM?

In stock rom this never made me that question, in custom rom neither asked me about the charge, I used an app called ampere, in stock and custom gave me the amount of 1.2 amps with the turbocharger, I clarify I am a Latin American user and I have xt1681

Changing stock ROM wont change your charging speed coz it is a hardware componant. Though if you flash a custom Kernel then it may change.
**Kernel deals with the hardware, OS deals with software and asks permissions to hardware from kernel.

Yes this is what I was looking for
It totally depends on the kernel
But the kernel will be changed when we change the ROM isn't it

No!
Kernel is made of Linux and very less ROM's add new kernels, so you wont get a new kernel.
If someone builds a kernel for your phone then it would definitely have turbo charging.
Thanks

Stock Rom + Fast Charging???

Hi, is there a way we can stay on the stock rom and have fast charging?
e.g. magisk module, replacement kernel
Thanks

The hardware is simply not capable of doing so in the first place.
