Today, I went to the Samsung US website, and for some reason I went to the Samsung Galaxy note 10.1 webpage: http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/galaxy-tab/GT-N8013ZWYXAR . To my surprisement, the OS, which in December showed JB, now again shows ICS. Throughout the thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2070733 , people do say that the website did show JB, and I even saw it with my own eyes.
Exactly that's why I flashed German 4.1.2. Truth of the matter is the US sold well so why give us the update? How about update the countries that not sold so well to increase sales give them the update makes sense? From a economic standpoint it does its called the boomer rang effect

Since the device has no sales, why sink more money into the R&D team for an update on a sunk product line?
Historically speaking, the above holds for evidence than what you said.
I also saw in dec when it said jb I'm sure they were getting to many complaints and changed it back.

Samsung cs confirmed that units were shipped for retail sale preloaded to have jb, and there are three examples from screenshots. The latest member is walking through instructions to exctract a clean system image now.

This is good news for us. The update is only for the International model of the Galaxy S2. With an official ICS release on hardware identical to ours, the talented devs over here will have something stable to work with. Check out phandroid for more info.

THought we get a ics update a month later? The china leak is fine until samsung release the notes ics. Hopefully a better leak will get released.
Wasnt the leaks for sgs2 used to patch up cm9 alpha build for note? I wouldnt expect stable until the notes version is released.
Until I've seen at least one more N7000 leak I doubt we're less than a month away from getting the ICS update.
I would expect to see at least 2-3 leaks for the Intl version before the real thing is released...

You will find that Samsung have since released a statement saying march 10th is not actually confirmed so this post is now nonsense unfortunately. no date has yet been set for the release.

Looks like they just updated the official samsung note 10.1 page to include jellly bean for os. Hopefully this means it is coming in the next few days.

I really really hope that this is finally a US OTA jellybean update!
Then maybe we can get rid of all the American whingers and moaners on here who can't even be bothered to load jellybean onto their device from another region. Currently there are official JB releases for all versions of the Galaxy Note 10.1 - N8000 (4.1.1 & 4.1.2), N8010/8013 and the LTE versions. All stable and trivial to flash onto American supplied units. Easy to roll back to earlier version, if for any reason you need to.
Xda-developers forums are for "developers" and people who are interested in using all capabilities of their devices - the clue is in the name of the site!! If you are not interested in doing this and only want to whinge, moan and threaten to sue Samsung because they are a week or two late with "your" upgrade, then there are plenty of fanboy sites where you can moan to your hearts content. No need to clutter up these forums where people are really interested in learning how to understand their devices and take them forward.
Hope you get your OTA upgrades - and go away!
I bet it will drop soon. Thats usually the first sign I have noticed before I have gotten upgrad es. I think they were just testing out bugs with the rest of the world before they unleash it on us critical Americans.

you know what. we're not mad about the update. We're mad about the way samsung works. Its not professional. At least at this point they have to have a schedule to update and guess what they don't have that. A big company like Samsung doesnt have a plan, time line to update the devices? really? The jelly bean update rolls out for germany 2 weeks ago and they don't have any plan to update for other countries? how stupid is that? I'm buying a 500$ device. The update is for the S3... If you read the News piece carefully, you'll see that it says - A "PERFECT" test update. Why "perfect"? Simply because Samsung released floppy and buggy test updates (4.2.2) a while ago for the S3, and they were a flop. So before they release the final 4.2.2 for S3, they will release a "prefect" test update.
Do you remember the time when the S2 got the LSJ Jellybean leak, and then it got yet another leak which was less buggier and optimized for S2?
Apparently, I see the same happening for the S3 here...
But don't worry, I'm sure we'll see 4.2.2 on this flagship phone one day...

Why would anyone sign up to 3 for a 4.3 update?? That's the most moronic thing I've heard here so far.

Thanks for the info, obviously it's not guaranteed but good to get some kind of timeframe. You've been a member long enough to know there's a lot of simple people about, they are irrelevant, though this could have been tagged onto 1 of the other 4.3 threads.

Just to way in, if memory serves the 3 support chat lied to me several times saying the note 2 they sold was lte compatible when only Orange sold the n7105.
Be it miss information to them, or a fraudulent sale, I don't intend to ask them anything speculative anytime soon.

They did for a long tume indeed tell people the N7100 was compatible with 4G and dc-hsdpa and there is a thread about it I with a few other people managed to get our complaints that high they exchanged pur phones for the N7105 version so I wouldn't trust what they say on twitter also Ros is a woman lol

I'm rather peeved about this delay also. We paid for the MOST EXPENSIVE version of the tablet, and we get treated like stepchildren.
I bet Verizon is behind this with their 800 lb gorilla "fart and the world thanks you" attitude about approving updates and devices. The negative of a single-SKU device. Waiting on some monkey in a Verizon office to decide the update is kosher.

Given that the Nexus 4 is also delayed, it likely has something to do with cellular radio firmware, rather than anything involving Verizon. Just a guess, though.
I'm doing a nandroid now just to return to stock!
