What's up with the games on this thing for reason they are in the corner of the screen

Dude is not broken lol I can run other games but the ones I download online and run the apks most run like that!

obviously not for tablet..not all HD games mean for tablet.

The selection of "tegra" based games is so blah... I've gone through "other" sources as well to find games for this thing. Most end up in corner of the screen; a little rectangle in the middle of the screen; or totally uncontrollable.
Tegra tabs are seeing very little love. My Gtab LTE has been sitting in the corner the last four days. Really starting to regret that purchase...

Just be aware that games on these things is still kind of just a novelty, not really the prime motivation for purchasing. I like playing games on the Tab, but if I was serious about actually wanting good games I'd boot up my Windows PC or get a console.

i agree with you on the other option for a console or pc i guess is just to early to look for good games for that tab

Maybe you shouldn't expect much from pirated games? Gameloft doesn't offer Fast Five for the Galaxy Tab which is why you're having problems.

[OFF TOPIC] Tribes Ascend

Yes, this is shameless advertising to be sure.
But a while ago I created a Battlefield 3 Epic 4G thread that had some good participation. I've since stopped playing that, b/c it's too addicting (a major freaking time-sink-hole) =]
So, I just loaded up Tribes Ascend (Free to Play), and it's actually quite fun, very low learning curve, and best of all...FREE. Hit up the link below to get started. I find online gaming is a little more enjoyable when you are "with" (no thanks, I'm married) someone.

Oh, I wholeheartedly agree. It does suck. But I bought it and now I'm stuck with it. I have BF3 too, but its not for me. Couldn't get into it.

BUT Battlefield is much better much more realistic, and much more challenging. COD is for fast pace kills and mass online gaming between several chaotic small maps.
Its fun but after awhile you strain your eyes on Battlefield lol

I have to admit, Battlefield is the favorite shooter I've ever played, and that's coming from a Counterstrike junkie, back in the beta 4 days.
It's just too addicting, so I do not have it installed =)

Yeah Modern Combat is the closet to a good FPS on Android Except GTA

Aww sorry to put you in the process of typing that into the play market. I know it took my buddies daughter about a couple of mins of doing that herself. I can imgine it would have taken less time that making that post. Oh well that's life, people will spend more time making useless posts when someone was trying to recommend a fun app. If only we could get a mobile os that was built by a search company that would make searching for stuff on our tablets easier.

Well, yup. The time has also come for me to leave this nice, cool and awesome community and move to another. The best part of all is that I'm not "moving" far away - I still bought a Sony phone, simply because they are awesome.
So yeah, I bought an Xperia S for a few personal reasons:
- I stopped using the PSP controls for games simply because I got bored of these advanced games (so now I casually play simple games like Angry Birds, Little Alchemy and Temple Run)
- As I aged a little bit and advanced further into studies I realised I need another kind of phone, one that should satisfy my needs *as XPlay did for one year and a half* (good digital camera replacer, better specs, more internal space, FM radio and a few others) - I know that XPlay can still be used as a multimedia phone, but I just feel I need something else
- I heard Xperia S will receive Nexus-like updates in the future - well, considering I wanted to buy a Galaxy Nexus before I heard these news just for this matter, consider it another reason
Well, there could be a few other reasons, but these are the mose essential. It was nice to meet you all, I must give a big thanks to developers and a few other users who made this phone from awesome to extraordinary! Thanks for eveything and have fun with your phone even further.

Also, assuming price isn't an issue, why didn't you for an HTC One X or SGS3? nothing wrong with the Xperia S but it isn't that much of an upgrade.

Oups, sorry for mentioning Angry Birds, it was only an example.
I bought Xperia S because I like the design, the camera, the screen and also because I bought it at a limited offer.
All I could say is that I still miss my XPlay, but life moves on, and I needed a different kind of phone.

Same! I was thinking about putting emulators on the PSVita I'm getting for Christmas... But I kinda want to be able to use the PSN so I can play PSO2 when it comes out. I still have my old LG Vortex in hand too.
I'm going to be honest, I LOVE the design of Sony Ericsson phones, but I don't wanna have to pay again to unlock another phone's bootloader. I want to have a nice, non-slide, phone that can flash kernels for free.

So I thought I'd create this thread since I didn't find one for off topic talk for us moto g users. In this thread you can discuss anything, not necessarily related to android. Interests and what not. I'll start us of, who does much gaming on their android?

I basically picked up the Moto G primarily for gaming capabilities.
Asphalt 8, RR3, The Room (1&2) are my favorites.
Oh wait, put Goat Simulator in that list too!

Well, I used to love to play brain wars but it's not optimized for lollipop and I must wait for fix I really like to play it as it keep me "in form" after I started working and there is not that much to train on my mind after college. I was even on top league but it takes way too much time to reach it (you have to play a lot to score points). Other than that I "grow up" from playing on phone, how many years we can play at angry birds and other copy of copy of copy games. Well, telltale games do grate job on their mobile versions of for example the wolf among us

2 games I recommend are sas3: zombie assault and sas4: zombie assault if you like top down shooters on android. I love em!

Asphalt 8 and RR3 are flawless.
The Room 2 didn't perform too well but GLTools was to the rescue .
And goat simulator is quite laggy but playable for me because I love that game.

NBA jam is one of my favs and yea I frequented the ace forums where I remember you. I picked up a G because its a hella good phone for the price. I'll use it for a year or 2 since its gonna get updates.

Tesco Mobile 4.4.4 ROM
Hello. I recently buyed UK Moto G 16GB with Tesco Mobile 4.4.4 ROM. By mistake I deleted Tesco backup. I know I can install any retail rom, but I want to switch to Tesco ROM. It seems I can't find Tesco Mobile 4.4.4 download. Maybe somebody have Tesco KK ROM (unchanged/without any mods/only rooted) and can share TWRP (or CWM - I can easily switch between recoveries) backup with me?

So my G is bootloader unlocked. I gave moto my imei to check to see if it was. They have no record of it on file, and I still have warranty for one year. How does that happen?
