The tablet should still be under manufacturer warranty so I would suggest calling up Asus and asking about sending it in. Even if its rooted you should still call since its Hardware and not Software related.
Yes. .checked with the service center. .went there and shown them. They will confirm back with their office and let me know tomorrow. .or the day after. .they said once they get a go ahead. .they will repair it at the service center and give it back

today when I powered on my nook color I noticed it has big black two spots and some distorted lines. Here is the image:

It also looks like the screen cracked (white aslant line), though I have to say the front glass is perfectly fine (not even a scratch). I haven't used it for about a week and I don't remember having it dropped during that time. Does anyone know what is it? Is it even possible to have broken LCD with front glass being untouched?
I'm in Europe right now but I have valid warranty - does anyone know if there is any B&S support here or I have to send it to my family in US?
Wow looks pretty ****ed up.
Wish I could tell you whats wrong but to tell the truth, the best thing I could give you is a guess...

Yup. You're screen is pooched. You can try and find a 3rd party screen replacement overseas, but your best bet is to send it back to the states and see if you can get it repaired or replaced under warranty.
Have terrible light bleed on my Nexus 7 that is approx 2 months old, been getting worse and worse, just filed for a RMA but Asus says they do not cross ship for tablets so I would be without it for 3-4 weeks.
Is there any fix I could try? Is this a similar issue to the screen lift problem everyone seems to be having? If I warp the tablet in my hand I can get the bleeding to be more or less or different places which leads me to think the screen isnt on straight.
Here is screenshot off it on a pure black background

I've gotten some lightbleed on my Nexus 7 (minor, not noticeable unless brightness is turned up) and the "ripple" when I press on the screen. I do assume this has something to do with how the screen is mounted, but I'm not sure how to fix it.
Ouch. Does it creak a lot to?

The only real way to fix this is with a screen/digitizer assembly replacement.

With the new board it wont boot up unless you slightly press on the tegra3 chip and when it does it is mostly normal but all brown color seems to be missing. any ideas? ill post some photos later.. about to give up this thing is pissing me off.

Click to collapse
That would piss me off too... I'm at a loss
I would send back the new board.
In 3d games and parts of the gui there are random dots like banding is this a screen malfunction? It can't be software right? How unreliable. What do I do? Return it? Ugh I just got it. Wtf is wrong with Motorola qa in its factories?? This is unacceptable. Will they send me a replacement before I have to return the defective unit? Is there a quick fix? What are my options?

Can you provide a screenshot or photo of the issue?

It's mainly whenever it's showing green. But it has to be software issue not the screen hardware or else screenshot wouldnt have captured this issue. Those bright dots run around whenever there is motion. Even in the Android gui

Does anyone know if a factory reset might fix this issue. It's not going away. Established that it isn't a hardware problem as I sent the screenshot from another phone and looking at it.

So my wife updated her Edge on Friday and the battery was draining like crazy. She complained about it being too hot as well. Sure enough I plugged it in and rested it on top of a cold drink. Didn't want my house to burn down so we charged it in the morning instead. Funny thing is, my Edge didn't charge last night even though it was sitting on the official Galaxy S7 wireless charger.
What's worse is the Green Line burned in and now has a faded spot where the line sometimes disappears.

I had that happen to me on my s6 after dropping it. The screen didnt crack or break so Tmobile covered it
Yea take it in, but they will prob want samsung to take care of it
T-mobile warranty doesn't normally involve Samsung.
Yup. T-Mobile is great about warranty exchanges. They've always just sent me a replacement phone with a return label for the broken phone.
